On To Book 2!

On To Book 2!

Just finished Book 1, on to Book 2! Also going through Genki with a class, which is probably plenty, but the JFZ series is so fun, I have to do that too! I’m a middle-age parent, who’s done a lot of cool things, but to me, finishing this book is right up there!

Only been studying for about 9 months, but most of my good memories are working out of JFZ on Saturday mornings 🙂 When initially self-studying Genki totally discouraged me, JFZ was right there to hold my hand. I guess you could say I’m a JFZ fanboy!

Thank you George-san & Yukari-san!

Are there another options to say to a stranger after a small talk goodbye instead of さようなら?

I understood it's a "final goodbye" so it seems too formal to me.

Just starting Japanese — what worked for you as a beginner?

So, being a newbie, I want to know how people approached their Japanese learning phase, and what really helped them learn the language.
