So This Was the 2026 Marble League
Something like this. And we roll.

Something like this. And we roll.
Part 1 of this series: Interesting facts and statistics about ML26 (Part 1)
Part 3 of this series: Interesting facts and statistics about ML26 (Part 3)
After Indigo Stars finished 2nd, every single ML podium so far has at least one team on there that won their first ML podium. Eg. ML23 had CCE and Bumblebees, ML24 had Team Momo, Snowballs, Black Jacks, ML25 had Kobalts and now Indigo Stars for ML26. Pretty impressive considering ML25 and ML26 had three and four teams respectively with zero ML podiums.
From their 184 point total in ML25, Kobalts lost 61 points in ML26. It ties with ML16-17 Thunderbolts for the 6th most points lost in consecutive MLs. The five teams to lose more points between 2 MLs are:
ML20-21 Savage Speeders(-62 points)
ML22-23 Shining Swarm(-70 points)
ML20-21 Minty Maniacs(-80 points)
ML19-20 Raspberry Racers(-83 points)
ML19-20 Green Ducks(-103 points)
Before ML26, the last place team of each season got a different position in E15
Event 15:10th,11th,4th,9th,13th,15th,5th
After Chocolatiers got 11th however, this is no longer the case.
As well, the eventual winner of each season also got a different position in E14
Event 14:4th,2nd,14th,5th,3rd,10th,1st
After Pinkies got 3rd, the streak has been broken. However, every single position in E5 and E13 is still unique.
Event 5:8th,3rd,10th,9th,4th,16th,15th,5th,12th,6th,1st
Event 13:1st,16th,15th,12th,13th,7th,2nd,9th
Team Plasma 7th place in this event is their first ever 7th place finish in ML. The only position they haven’t gotten yet is 5th.
Oceanics 9th place overall finish makes it their 10th bottom half finish in ML, MLS and M1 combined. They’re the fourth team to reach 10 total bottom half finishes across all 3 tournaments with the others being Balls of Chaos, Limers and Thunderbolts.
Kobalts’ 85pts in the 2nd half of the season(E9-16) tied with ML24 Hazers for the most points scored by the halftime last place leader from ML19 onwards. Along with that, they join ML24 Hazers and ML18 Team Momo as the only teams to be in last place by the middle of the season and not finish in the bottom 4 by the end of it. ML24 Hazers got 11th while ML18 Team Momo got 12th.
Solar Flares, Indigo Stars and Snowballs are the only teams to not only get a top half finish in the first event but also finish top half in the overall standings this season. That ties with ML22 for the fewest teams to accomplish that in a single season.
The Bumblebees are the fourth team to improve their ML finish in three consecutive seasons. From ML24-26, they went from 15th, 10th to 6th. The other three teams to accomplish this are ML18-20 Team Galactic(11th, 8th, 7th), ML20-22 Green Ducks(12th, 11th, 5th) and ML21-23 Savage Speeders(12th, 4th, 3rd).
Black Jacks on the other hand became the eighth team to record at least three consecutive seasons with a worse finishing position after each ML. From ML24-26, they went 3rd, 9th to 12th. The other 7 teams to achieve this are:
ML18-20 Balls of Chaos(5th, 9th, 15th)
ML21-24 Gliding Glaciers(3rd, 10th, 15th, 16th)
ML16-18 Mellow Yellow(2nd, 3rd, 15th)
ML17-19 O’rangers(1st, 4th, 6th)
ML21-25 Raspberry Racers(2nd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th)(Streak finally broken!!!)
ML22-24 Team Galactic(3rd, 6th, 14th)
ML16-18 Team Momo(4th, 9th, 12th)
The Pinkies' 97 points and Snowballs’ 95 points in the 2nd half of the season are ranked as the 8th and 12th most points scored by a team in the 2nd half from ML19-26 respectively.
Savage Speeders 40 points in the 2nd half however is ranked as the 7th fewest points scored by a team in the 2nd half from ML19-26. As well, it is their first ever sub-50 point half in their history and that’s including ML16-18 halves which are only 6 events long.
Indigo Stars 2nd place finish makes them the 6th team to have led by halftime while also not winning the title in the process since ML19. Only 2 teams who led after E8 would later on win the title with those being ML22 Pinkies and ML19 Raspberry Racers.
Pinkies’ 97 points which are the most for any team in the 2nd half this season means that every single team that scored the most points in the 2nd half of the season from ML16-26 would go on to win the title with the only two exceptions being ML16 Mellow Yellow and ML22 Shining Swarm.
Both Indigo Stars and Raspberry Racers point difference between their 1st and 2nd half would amount to 50 points.
Indigo Stars(109 points in first half-59 in 2nd half)
Raspberry Racers(101 points in first half-50 in 2nd half)
Both rank as the 9th biggest point discrepancy between the 1st and 2nd half for a team in a season as well as being the 3rd time the Raspberry Racers had a point difference of 50pts or more between their 2 halves. No other team has even done it twice.
Snowballs’ 95 points in the 2nd half is their new team record for most points in a single half. As well, that leaves only 12 teams left since ML19 to not yet score 90 points in a single ML half.
(Team-Highest amount of points they’ve gotten in a half, Which ML they did it in, the half they did it in)
Balls of Chaos-88pts, ML19, 2nd half
Black Jacks-80pts, ML24, 1st half
Chocolatiers-81pts, ML24, 1st half
Hornets-47pts, ML20, 1st half
Jungle Jumpers-89pts, ML24, 1st half
Limers-63pts, ML25, 2nd half
Rojo Rollers-78pts, ML23, 2nd half
Solar Flares-84pts, ML26, 2nd half
Team Plasma-70pts, ML26 1st half
Team Primary-83pts, ML22, 2nd half
Thunderbolts-77pts, ML21, 1st half
Wolfpack-72pts, ML24, 2nd half
Additionally, Solar Flares got 84 points in the 2nd half and thus 6 teams since ML19 have never gotten 80pts in a single ML half.
Hornets-47pts, ML20, 1st half
Limers-63pts, ML25, 2nd half
Rojo Rollers-78pts, ML23, 2nd half
Team Plasma-70pts, ML26 1st half
Thunderbolts-77pts, ML21, 1st half
Wolfpack-72pts, ML24, 2nd half
Funny thing is that the Bolts actually have gotten 80+ pts in a half before, with that being in ML16 using the modern scoring point system where they got 86pts in just 6 events. Unfortunately, since I’m only counting ML19 onward, it doesn’t count.
[Next few facts will be using Q1,2,3 and 4 which represent quarters so Q1:E1-4, Q2:E5-8, Q3:E9-12 and Q4:E13-16]
Despite 75 points in Q2, the Raspberry Racers became the first team to score 70+ points in a single quarter while also failing to finish on the podium.
The Savage Speeders scored just nine total points in the final quarter of the season, tying with ML17 Jungle Jumpers(Q1), ML22 Midnight Wisps(Q2) and ML19 Oceanics(Q4) for the 6th fewest points scored in a single quarter. It also sets a new franchise low, surpassing their previous worst of 16 points in Q2 of ML19. Additionally, they scored 19 points in Q1 of ML26 too, meaning they’ve gotten more sub-20 point quarters in this single season than they’ve had across their previous 37 quarters combined.
Pinkies’ 62 points in Q4 tied with ML24 Raspberry Racers for the 6th most points scored by a team in Q4 while the aforementioned Savage Speeders’ 9 points tied with ML19 Oceanics for the fewest points scored by a team in Q4.
Hazers’ 38 points in Q4, extends their streak of getting at least 32 points in every 4th quarter they’ve played. No other team has accomplished that.
Team Plasma’s 41 points in Q4 is a new team record for most points in a quarter. The previous record of 38 points was actually set earlier this season Q2, which itself had broken their previous best of 36 points in Q1 of ML23. In other words, Team Plasma broke their own single quarter scoring record twice in the same season
6 teams this season has scored in every event:
Pinkies
Snowballs
Raspberry Racers
Team Plasma
Crazy Cat's Eyes
Chocolatiers
This is the Chocolatiers 5th ML season where they scored at least one point in each event. The only MLs they didn’t accomplish that in was ML22 and ML24 though they both came close with them scoring in 15 out of 16 events. Combined, out of the 102 events total, they’ve scored in 100 of them or a 98.04% rate.
They also tied the O’rangers for the third most ML seasons in which they’ve scored in every event. Only the Speeders and Team Galactic with 6 and 7 appearances respectively top them. Worth noting that 2 of those 5 seasons the Chocolatiers accomplished the feat in came pre-2019 with only 12 events.
ML26 became the first ML where no teams scored at least two or more points in every event. From ML16-25, at least one team achieved the feat each season. For example, O’rangers, Team Galactic and Black Jacks in ML25 all scored at least two points in each event. With that, the 10 ML streak has ended.
With Mellow Yellow finishing 8th, it's the first time where Mellow Yellow was mathematically possible for a podium finish entering the final event but failed to do so. In ML16, 17, 21 and 25, they entered the final event while still being able to remain or get on the podium and would do so.
ML26 Hazers become the 10th team to accomplish the feat of getting the same amount of medals in a league as to their final position:
ML26 Hazers(4 medals-4th)
ML25 Mellow Yellow(3 medals-3rd)
ML24 Green Ducks(4 medals-4th)
ML24 Jungle Jumpers(5 medals-5th)
ML22 Savage Speeders(4 medals-4th)
ML22 Green Ducks(5 medals-5th)
ML18 Oceanics(3 medals-3rd)
ML17 Mellow Yellow(3 medals-3rd)
ML16 Team Momo(4 medals-4th)
Fun fact, both the ML24 Jungle Jumpers and ML22 Green Ducks are the only teams to win 5 or more medals while finishing outside the top 4.
In ML19, the Green Ducks finished 2nd while Indigo Stars placed 14th. In ML26, those positions were reversed with Indigo Stars finishing 2nd while Green Ducks placed 14th.
The ML19 Green Ducks and ML26 Indigo Stars also would both have 5 medals with 2 of them gold and won a Silver in their first event of the season. Meanwhile, both the ML19 Indigo Stars and ML26 Green Ducks would win only a single medal, a Bronze.
Part 1 of this series: Interesting facts and statistics about ML26 (Part 1)
Part 2 of this series: Interesting facts and statistics about ML26 (Part 2)
The Raspberry racers were the only team this season to get zero double-digit point events in the 2nd half of ML26. From ML19-25, only two other times has a team failed to score double-digit points in an event in the 2nd half of the season. Those being ML21 Team Momo and ML22 Balls of Chaos. Even if you include 1st halves from ML19 onwards, only an extra three times has it happened. ML19 Pinkies, ML20 Bumblebees and ML25 Limers.
Pinky Promise is not only the first marble to be named Best Coach twice, along with their other title in ML22 but also the first host marble to win Best Coach. As well, Pinky Toe would win MVM(Most Valuable Marble) making it the 2nd ML that the team that won Best Coach and MVM would go on to win the title with the other being ML19 Raspberry Racers.
Pinky Toe with their 64pts to win MVM is just 1 point below the most points ever for a MVM winner as Mallard in ML22 would have 65pts after 1 Gold and 2 Silvers in 3 events.
Also, this is the first ML since ML19 that the teams who won Best Coach, MVM and Best Captain would all get on the podium. Snowy won Best Captain this season while Pinkies won Best Coach and MVM.
The point difference between the winner and last place team this season is the 2nd smallest of any ML. The point difference between Pinkies and Chocolatiers is 68 points, with only ML23 having a smaller difference of 62 points.
With Kobalts and Black Jacks being last in the overall standings at least once this season, the Indigo Stars, Jawbreakers, Team Primary and Wolfpack remain as the only teams to never be in last place in ML a single time.
After Bumblebees got a Gold Medal in E14, they ended their 55 event streak without a gold medal that started all the way back ML23 E7. That ties for the 2nd longest with the Balls of Chaos streak with the longest being of course the Bolts’ 72 event streak.
With Chocolatiers failing to get on the podium, they tied with the Balls of Chaos for most ML appearances, 7, without a podium finish. Combined, that's 14 ML appearances. For comparison, Kobalts, Indigo Stars, Black Jacks and Shining Swarm have a combined 13 appearances and have 1G, 2S and 1B in that time.
The Green Ducks come 3 points away from being the ninth team to score over 1000 total ML points. Right now, they’re sitting at 997 while Crazy Cat’s Eyes and Pinkies managed to surpass 1000 points this season, being currently at 1093 and 1046 points respectively.
With Solar Flares and Team Plasma getting 143 and 131 points respectively, their ML point total increased to 280 and 240 respectively. That leaves the Jawbreakers and Wolfpack as the only active teams with less than 200 total ML points.
Raspberry Racers career total of 1327 ML points after their 152 point performance this season makes them the second team to get over 1300+ total ML points, joining the Savage Speeders. They managed to beat the O’rangers, Mellow Yellow and Team Galactic to it despite having 1 less ML appearance. Though, the Razzies have been to 140 ML events which is more than the O’rangers and Team Galactic but Mellow Yellow have 8 more ML events than them.
Pinkies and Snowballs become the 6th and 7th ML team to win multiple ML podiums with the others being Oceanics, Savage Speeders, Mellow Yellow, Raspberry Racers and O’rangers.
The Kobalts become the third team since ML19 to score less 40 points by halftime while also finishing outside the bottom three. They had 38pts by E8 but would place 11th after a 85 point 2nd half. The two other teams who also achieved it are ML23 Thunderbolts who placed 13th and ML20 Oceanics who placed 10th.
Despite reaching at least 88 points by E8, neither the Raspberry Racers nor the Indigo Stars won the title. Since ML19, only two teams have scored 88 or more points through E8 and also won the title. Those teams being ML19 Raspberry Racers and ML22 Pinkies who each scored 102 and 103 points respectively. 18 other teams got 88 points by halftime yet failed to win it all with eight of them not even getting on the podium.
Mellow Yellow 8th place finish makes it the first time they had two back-to-back seasons of top half finishes since ML16-17 as they got 3rd last season.
The Savage Speeders’ run of three consecutive bottom six finishes from ML24-26(13th, 11th, 15th) marks just the 3rd time a team has gone three straight ML seasons without finishing higher than 10th. The only other teams to endure such a stretch are ML16-18 Limers(15th, 10th, 14th) and ML22-24 Gliding Glaciers(10th, 15th, 16th). Unlike the Speeders, however, both of those teams at least got a 10th place finish during their streak.
With Mellow Yellow getting 8th place, the ML20 podium remains the only podium where all three teams would fail to finish in the top half of the next ML.
A little pattern for every team since ML16 who won the first event was that they ended their season with only one 0 in the gold/silver/bronze medal standings. Eg: 2025:Oceanics-2G/1S/0B, 2024:Savage Speeders-1G/0S/1B, 2023:Crazy Cat’s Eyes-3G/01S/3B. Unfortunately, Solar Flares would have 2G/1S/1B this season and end the streak.
With Team Plasma, Kobalts and Solar Flares all getting 100+ points, Team Primary and Jawbreakers remain the only active teams to have two or more ML appearances while also not having at least two 100pt seasons. And Team Primary has been in four seasons, granted three of them from ML16-18.
With Indigo Stars getting 2nd place, every single team that had 85pts or more by E6 would go on to not win their respective championship.
ML26 Indigo Stars(96pts, 2nd)
ML25 Oceanics(87pts, 2nd)
ML23 Bumblebees(89pts, 2nd)
ML23 Savage Speeders(88pts, 3rd)
ML20 Minty Maniacs(91pts, 3rd)
ML20 O’rangers(90pts, 2nd)
ML20 Crazy Cat’s Eyes(90pts, 5th)
ML19 Green Ducks(90pts, 2nd)
ML17 Savage Speeders(92pts, 2nd)
ML16 Thunderbolts(86pts, 3rd)
As well, Indigo Stars became the 13th time that a team has gotten 90pts or more by Event 7 and the 12th one to not win the title. Only 1 of them would do so being the ML22 Pinkies. That’s a 7.69% success rate.
List of all 123teams to do it:
ML26 Indigo Stars(2nd)
ML25 Midnight Wisps(4th)
ML23 Savage Speeders(3rd)
ML23 Bumblebees(2nd)
ML22 Pinkies(1st)
ML21 Team Momo(6th)
ML20 O'rangers(2nd)
ML20 Crazy Cat's Eyes(5th)
ML20 Minty Maniacs(3rd)
ML20 Midnight Wisps(4th)
ML19 Green Ducks(2nd)
ML17 Savage Speeders(2nd)
ML16 Thunderbolts(2nd using current point system)
Of those 13 times above, four of them got 100 points by E7 or earlier too including the Indigo Stars who had 104 points, and all four of those teams also lost their respective ML. ML17 Savage Speeders(2nd), ML20 O’rangers(2nd), ML21 Team Momo(6th) and now ML26 Indigo Stars(2nd).
Indigo Stars also have become the fifth team to have led an event by 20 points or more in a season, with them doing so 4 times in a row from E4-7, while also not winning the title. The other 4 are ML22 Team Galactic, ML21 Team Momo, ML20 O’rangers and ML17 Savage Speeders. The only team that managed to do so is ML25 Kobalts as they led by 21 points after E16.
Indigo Stars recorded 6 straight events where they lead the standings. Only 2 other times has a team lead for 6 or more consecutive events, ML19 Savage Speeders and ML21 Team Momo who both did it for 7 straight events. All 3 teams failed to win their respective ML.
Raspberry Racers from E6-8 earned three medals, two of them gold. It was the 8th time it has happened in ML and they became just the second team to ever accomplish that while also failing to get on the podium. The other team that didn’t make it was ML24 Solar Flares who finished in 7th.
ML26 is the 2nd ML ever where every single top half team got a gold medal. ML22 is the only other ML where this also happened.
With the Pinkies winning the title and the Snowballs finishing third, every ML podium in history now features at least one team that has either previously podiumed or would eventually go on to podium in a future season. Prior to ML26, the podiums from ML22 and ML24 were the only exceptions, as all three teams on each podium had just a single career podium finish at the time. The Pinkies and Snowballs who were on the ML22 and ML24 podium respectively, have now since gone on to get another podium finish.
Continuation of this post: Interesting facts and statistics about Event 15 of ML26 : r/JellesMarbleRuns
(I'm back after what, 2 weeks? Regardless, im posting only the MLS one today and I'll post the ML version tmr though it may come in either 2, maybe 3 parts. For now, i hope you like this.)
The Shining Swarm became the fourth team to win the showdown and then finish bottom 4 in the showdown the following year. The previous three teams to do so are MLS19-20 Snowballs, MLS21-22 Kobalts and MLS23-24 Indigo Stars.
Team Momo finished the season with zero medals, leaving the MLS23 Oceanics as the only MLS team to finish last overall while still winning a medal.
This marked the first MLS season in which both the Shining Swarm and Balls of Chaos failed to win a single medal. Each team has earned at least one medal in every previous MLS appearance. As a result, Wolfpack now hold the record for most MLS appearances, 4, while winning at least one medal every time. The Shining Swarm had previously shared the record with them.
With Wolfpack 1st place, that leaves the Balls of Chaos, Limers, Solar Flares and Jawbreakers as the only active teams to have never finished on the podium in a ML, MLS or M1 tournament. Even when including other tournaments like MLWS, ML All-Stars, MS100 Season 1 and 2, Hubelino, Impact Marble Racing and Iron Marble, none of the four have ever finished in the top 3 in any of them.
Along with that, the Limers and Gliding Glaciers remain the only active teams to have never led the standings at any point across ML, MLS and M1. For context, the Limers and Gliding Glaciers each have 132 and 98 combined ML, MLS and M1 events respectively.
Considering the Jawbreakers were just one point away from getting on the podium, it would be pretty embarrassing for the Balls of Chaos and Limers that a team that hasn’t competed since 2020 would have earned a podium finish before either of them.
O’rangers’ silver medal in this event makes them the 22nd team to win a medal in all three major tournaments, ML, MLS and M1.
After sitting in 16th after E1, the Bolts would finish at 8th overall. With that, they joined MLS21 Snowballs and MLS20 Pinkies as the only teams to have been last in the standings at some point before eventually finishing in the top half. As well, the Bolts are the only ones to do it in the 16-team era starting in MLS22.
Rojo Rollers also join MLS24 Shining Swarm as the only teams to be in 1st place in the standings at least once and then finish in the bottom half with both teams placing 11th in their respective tournaments.
The Wolfpack and Turtle Sliders each had an average position finish per event of 5.5 and 5.667 respectively this season, ranking as the 4th and 5th best average finishing position per event since MLS22. Only the MLS22 Team Plasma(4.375), MLS23 Indigo Stars(4.667) and MLS Shining Swarm(5) posted better averages. It is also the first MLS season in which two teams had an average less than six.
Team Momo on the other hand had an average finishing position per event of 11.5 which ranks as the 2nd worst average in MLS ever. Only the MLS25 Purple Rockets had a worse average of 12.5.
With Turtle Sliders leading in three events and failing to win the MLS title, they are the third consecutive team to lead the most events in the season while still not winning the title. The Sliders led in four events in MLS25 and Pinkies led in three events in MLS24 but both got 2nd.
The Sliders also have now led the standings in seven MLS events across MLS25 and MLS26 yet also without a single MLS championship. They have the 3rd most led events in MLS history behind the Kobalts and Team Plasma each having more with eight and nine led events respectively.
Rojo Rollers and Wolfpack become the 16th and 17th team to lead an event in MLS with one and two led events respectively. With that, Team Primary, Limers, Minty Maniacs and Solar Flares are the only MLS teams that have been in 28 or more MLS events while also not leading a single event. They have 40, 34, 28 and 28 total MLS events respectively.
With Turtle Sliders finishing 2nd two times in a row, they became the third team to win multiple MLS podiums, the other being Pinkies and Kobalts. They also not only became the seventh instance of a MLS team having two consecutive MLS seasons with top half finishes but they did it twice with their other streak being from MLS22-23 where they finished 4th and 5th. They’re the only team to accomplish that.
Since MLS21, every season has featured at least one team to have gotten a top half finish in at least five or more events. This year’s team was the Jungle Jumpers, who finished in the top half from E2-6. They became the third team to achieve a streak of at least five consecutive top half finishes, joining the MLS23 Indigo Stars who got a top half finish in all six events along with MLS23 Team Primary who, like Jungle Jumpers, also got a top half finish from E2-6.
Along with that, after finishing 5th overall, the Jungle Jumpers have not finished in the bottom 4 of standings in six MLS appearances. No other team currently with even five MLS appearances has accomplished that. The closest right now is the Thunderbolts and Wolfpack with four appearances each.
With Team Momo finishing dead last, there remains five teams who have never finished in the bottom 3 in either ML or MLS:
(Listed by total ML and MLS appearances)
O’rangers(11)
Thunderbolts(11)
CCE(9)
Hazers(9)
Wolfpack(5)
And yes, the Bolts have never gotten bottom three in both leagues a single time. In fact, the Thunderbolts are the only team with three or more MLS appearances without ever finishing in either the top 4 or bottom 4 of the final MLS standings. Only five other teams have achieved that but none have more than two appearances. The five other teams are CCE, Mellow Yellow, Gliding Glaciers, O’rangers and Team Galactic. Bolts on the other hand have four such appearances where they’ve neither performed well or terrible. Just mid.
The Midnight Wisps’ 14th place finish means they’ve now placed in the bottom 4 in every MLS appearance. Only two other teams, the Oceanics and Turtle Sliders, have matched that total but it took the Sliders six appearances to do so, while the Oceanics at least managed to win a MLS title at the end of it.
As well they’re one of two former champions to get relegated, alongside Team Momo, as well as being the 3rd time a team went from 4th in ML to bottom 4 in the Showdown the next year, the other times being ironically themselves from ML20 to MLS21 and Hazers from ML21 to MLS22.
Wolfpack became the first MLS champion to get 9th place in an event. That leaves 12th through 16th as the only event placements never recorded by an eventual MLS champion.
With the Balls of Chaos finishing 15th and Limers finishing 12th, both teams now have 12 bottom half finishes across ML, M1 and MLS combined. Between them, they have just five total top half finishes in those tournaments. For comparison, the Indigo Stars have six top half finishes despite competing in only nine tournaments compared to the pair’s combined 29.
O’rangers’ 6th place finish makes it their 13th top half finish across ML, MLS and M1, allowing them to overtake Savage Speeders for the most for any team. They now have 13 top half finishes to only four bottom half finishes, meaning 76.47% of their appearances have ended in the top half.
By winning two gold medals, Wolfpack became not only the sixth team in MLS history to win two gold medals in a season but also the second team to do so while going on to win the title, with the other being the MLS20 Kobalts.
The Jawbreakers became the fourth team in MLS history to win four medals in a season, joining the MLS21 Kobalts, MLS22 Team Plasma and MLS25 Hazers. Like the Hazers before them, however, they would also miss out on the podium.
Since the Minty Maniacs avoided finishing 16th in this event, the Balls of Chaos and Hazers are now the only teams with at least three Showdown appearances to have finished last in at least one event in every Showdown they’ve been in.
Despite finishing 16th in E1, the Thunderbolts would finish 8th and become the first ever team to finish in the top half of the final standings while also getting last place in the first event. Every previous team to finish last in the opening ended in the bottom six, with the previous best performing team being ironically the MLS22 Thunderbolts, who got 11th.
This ESPN style documentary remains one of my favorite pieces of JMR content (back then JMR was associated with MSPN).
I understand the whole story about how the dissociation between JMR and MSPN happened, but it's sad that lore building of this quality never happened again.
Some fans took issue with Quicksilver's characterization but I thought it was a good portrayal of the relationships that happen between athletes in elite sports.
Back when the O'Rangers and the Pinkies got announced as hosts for ML25 and ML26 respectively, leading to to it I recall there being discussions about what kind of events we could hope or expect from them and what what their home turf would look like.
Now that that's come to pass, I'm sure we can continue that tradition now with the Kobalts and what they'll have to offer. As per our annual discussions go, we always find a way to branch out and talk about who else would make solid hosts, when, and what their seasons could be like.
When I personally think about it, my thoughts go to the Chocolatiers, The Black Jacks, the Jungle Jumpers, and maybe the Turtle Sliders, Solar Flares, Team Wolfpack and Indigo Stars for who could make great hosts just for possible creative concepts alone and not just reputation. Others like Team Primary, Team Plasma, Balls of Chaos, and the Savage Speeders are awesome, but I have a hard time pinning down what their home stadium could look like or what their special events would be.
Where are all of you at? For the sake of creativity and openness, we can open the door a bit to other teams from special events like the Hublino and Marble Mania X like the Golden Orbs, the Strixes, and Noxious Ivy for any of those fans out there. If the Jawbreakers have a chance to come back - so do they.
Here are the last four event podiums, finally. The overall podiums for both ML and SD should be posted next week.
My impressions for these last events:
The Oceanics must have a new swim coach, and I think they are possibly sharing them with the Hazers
First and second place in the Underwater Race was completely unsurprising
G Force Collision just doesn’t work for me
Every team got a medal and broke 100! Yay!
I really wanted the Stars or at least the Snowballs to win, and now I feel bad for them both.
The Pinkies were not the team I expected to get a repeat League win, but here we are.
The Pinkies are just here to have fun, and it’s obviously working for them.
I just finished watching the ML26 all events and realized (with a sigh) that this finished very recently. Is there a normal cadence for when the marble league, marbula one, and other events on the channel happen (specific part of the year, days of the week, etc.)?
Any other general advice for a newcomer that wants to keep up? Any old seasons or events that are a must watch?

lets start where I left off
16. Snowballs (0.02)
One of the best teams post 2022, although my rankings suggest their only bad seasons were 2020 and 2021, they weren't that bad and when they actually made it to main league they proved that.
15. Rojo Rollers (0.023)
The Rollers are not as bad as they seem, with above average performances every year except 2020, 2021 and 2025, only if they consistently qualified, 2023 proved what they can do in main league
14. Kobalts (0.024)
While they are a bit inconsistent, with very good showdowns and very bad ones, they don't deserve to be a permanent showdown team and their 2025 win proved that
13. Green Ducks (0.03)
Their last 2 performances, especially 2025 were mediocre to say the least, and a disaster 2020 lowers their ranking, remember bad performances in leagues are much more punishing then being bad in showdown, same logic applies for being good in league or showdown. Even their 2019 isn't valued that highly by zscores, its in top 20 all-time but it was not a 200 point performance
12. Shining Swarm (0.033)
One of the most underrated teams, if you look at their league performances by points they have been good 3/4 years, only if they werent bad at showdown or qualifiers, and their 2026 relegation doesnt help
11. Turtle Sliders (0.039)
uhhhh yeah im not sure if I agree with this and the next team, they are the 2 teams I disagree with in this ranking, well I'll explain why they are 11th, 5/8 of their showdowns have been above average with 4 of them (22,23,25,26) being quite good, they need to justify their position with a main league performance though. However this ranking suggests that they probably wont be bad if they qualify
10. Wolfpack (0.04)
They are carried by their recent showdown which was really good and since they only have 1 league performance it impacts more in their average, if they can translate that showdown to the league their position will be justified
9. Bumblebees (0.05)
Only including Summer Leagues they would be 6th, ahead of the Speeders, (I'll get there), Since the merger they have been consistently good, with 1st zscore in 2023 and 2nd in 2026.
8. Black Jacks (0.07)
In their first years, their only below average one has been 2023, even 2026 was above average, they got really unlucky there they had good times/scores every event but they couldn't translate that to meaningful points. They also had that problem in 2025 to a lesser extent, in fact they were top 2 in averages until Sand Rally.
Fun Fact: Their zscores for 2025 and 2026 are better than 2024
7. Crazy Cat's Eyes (0.09)
The M1 goats are good in the league too, helped by them not having a truly bad performance, league or showdown. Their zscore victory in 2024 is their best showing, better than their 2023 championship which was barely above average and was the worst championship of all-time
6. Gliding Glaciers (0.10)
Now the most underrated team in JMR, also the unluckiest, they have underperformed their zscore every year, in placements, even when they do bad zscore wise their actual placement is worse. Their 2021 league is top 15 all time, helped by the fact I don't consider DNFs for averages. From there they have been above average every year except 2023. Now if their times actually were points they could do something but until then people will look at them as an irrelevant mid team
5. Savage Speeders (0.11)
They would be 2nd all-time without their 7th worst all-time disaster performance this year. Even then there were signs they weren't as good as they seemed. their zscore placements being from 2016: 4th, 2nd, 1st, 7th, 5th, 14th, 4th, 3rd, 11th, 6th, 16th. Good placements, but they usually overperform in reality. However if they perform like they did before this year they should be able to contend for next league's championship
4. Pinkies (0.12)
From 2021, best team but their showings prior (especially 2019) lower their placement. They have podiumed 3 times in zscores (1st 22, 26 and 2nd 23) and their recent performance nearly beat 2022's average. I will not be surprised if they get top 5 in 2027
3. Team Galactic (0.13)
Maybe the most consistent team in JMR, or 2nd to the team above them. In their start they were mid, usually having 8-11th best average in their leagues. But after 2019 their zscore placements have been: 4th, 4th SD, 2nd, 4th, 10th, 2nd, 10th SD, they have the same problem as the Glaciers and Jacks though, well atleast they came close to winning once
2. Raspberry Racers (0.15)
After a disaster 2025 they came back in 2026 with their 2nd best showing yet. Helped by their 2019 best all-time, which gaps 2nd place 2017 O'rangers (0.95 to 0.67). the gap from 2nd to 13th is about the same as the one from 2nd to 1st. Even then they have been a consistent top half team that is mostly near the top of the leaderboard
The gap from 2nd to 1st is about the same as from 2nd to 7th
drumroll please.......
1. O'Rangers (0.23)
While in their last 4 years they have performed like the 10-12th best team. up to 2022 they were unrivaled, their zscore placements from 2016 being: 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 1st, 10th, 3rd, 11th, 10th SD, 5th, 6th SD
They could have won 2025 if they didn't choke Sand Rally but 5 podiums is crazy. Their worst league performance is -0.03 in 2023, compared to the Speeders' -0.50 in 2026 or the Razzies' -0.37 in 2025. Qualifiers are the biggest problem for them recently, they wouldnt have qualified for 2025 if they werent hosts and they barely made it to 2022. They would have had an even better score if they made it to 24 and 26 as they do way better in league than showdown. They are the best team despite how washed they seem
A League victory in 2027 would help them prove that, if they can even qualify
Spreadsheet: ML Power Rankings
With the Jawbreakers replacing the Purple Rockets due to the Rockets withdrawing, the Jawbreakers got 4 medals, and got 4th overall in the SD. Surely they will permanently in the league, right? If so, then what a humiliating way to go out for the Purple Rockets.
Marbula 1 Season 6 - 20th Place
Iron Marble - Round 1 Elimination
Marble League 2026 Showdown - 16th (Auto-Relegated)
With how the results have been for Team Momo lately, it hasn't been looking great for them, with their mo-momentum seemingly gone. Do you think Team Momo needs to think about doing a roster or management change?
Just finished watching ML 2026 and wanted to give the Pinkies there VERY well deserved flower cheers to you and second and breaking the curse 🥂💐💐💐
