Interesting facts about Event 7 of ML26

Continuation of this post: Interesting facts about Event 6 of ML26 and Event 2 of MLS26

(Alot less than usual but the post for E8 will be alot more, promise u that. Ts just mostly a Star's glazing post really.)

Event 7
13 times in ML history has a team led an event by 20pts or more, Indigo Stars count for 4 of them. Only the Savage Speeders and O’rangers have multiple events leading by 20+pts, Speeders with 4 events and O’rangers with 2 events.

In fact there's been only 7 times that a team has led by 25pts or more, Indigo Stars are 3 of those times. All from E5-7, the only other time a team has led in consecutive events by 25pts were the Speeders from E9-10 when they led by 27 and 25 pts respectively.

In both the ML19 and ML26 5 Meter Sprint events, Yellow and Smoggy would each win gold and silver respectively in the 2 events.

Indigo Stars join the ML17 Savage Speeders, ML20 O’rangers and ML21 Team Momo as the only teams to get 100 or more pts by Event 7 or earlier.

As well, they are the 10th team to get 100 or more pts by Event 8 or earlier. Here is a list of teams with 6 or more ML appearances who have never accomplished it once. Mellow Yellow, Team Galactic, Balls of Chaos, Chocolatiers, Oceanics, Bumblebees, Hazers and Snowballs

Indigo Stars have now led in 4 consecutive events. Not only is that the 8th time a team has ever led in 4 or more events in a row, before this event, it hadn't happened since ML22 when the Pinkies did it from E12-16. They are the 6th team in ML history to accomplish the feat. This is a list of every team to lead in 6 or more events without reaching 4 consecutive led events, Crazy Cat’s Eyes, Mellow Yellow, Minty Maniacs, Oceanics, Team Galactic and Thunderbolts.

Indigo Stars tie with the ML25 Oceanics for the longest consecutive events being in the top 2 in the standings from the start of the season. And considering that they are 28pts ahead of 2nd place, they’ll break the Oceanics’ record and join the following teams as the only ones to be top 2 in the standings for 8 events or more.
ML17 Savage Speeders(E5-12)
ML19 Raspberry Racers(E7-16)
ML20 O’rangers(E2-16)
ML21 Team Momo(E3-12)
ML21 Raspberry Racers(E4-11)
ML23 Savage Speeders(E3-15)
ML23 Bumblebees(E9-16)

Solar Flares and Team Plasma have placed 9th and 10th in the standings after an event for the first time in their history respectively. That means that every team, except for the Hornets have placed 9th in the standings after an event.

Indigo Stars’ 104pts is the 3rd most for any team in Event 7, behind only ML21 Team Momo with 108pts and ML20 O’rangers with 105pts. That kicks ML19 Green Ducks’ 98pts off the top 5 list.

With Mellow Yellow getting 1st after placing 16th, they’re the 7th instance of that happening and the first time it has happened since ML21. The other 6 times were
ML16 Team Momo E9-10
ML16 Rojo Rollers E6-7
ML18 Limers E7-8
ML19 Midnight Wisps E6-7
ML20 Hazers E7-8
ML21 Green Ducks E1-2
They seem to really happen around the Event 6-8 range.

A hint of things to come?

An interesting comment was made by Greg Woods in todays event, and whilst it could well have been a throwaway remark, I'm not so sure. Here's the quote in question...

"Of all the demo teams and those retirees since 2020, ideally all of them will be returning (except for Team Roliver, just to let you know)."

That feels WAAAAAY too deliberate a comment to be just Greg musing. It almost feels like a very deliberate hint that, yes, we WILL be seeing more of these old favourites, if not in the League then at least somewhere.

Thoughts? Which teams would you like to see compete in which tournaments?

E7 Sprint+Overall projections update

light weight teams and the Razzies hold the podium in the best event for CCE

Overall CCE skyrockets because of their 2nd in funnels and the good event announcements for them, Stars remain at a comfortable lead while Hazers drop out of podium

Interesting facts about Event 6 of ML26 and Event 2 of MLS26

Continuation of this post: Interesting facts about Event 5 of ML26 : r/JellesMarbleRuns

ML26 Event 6
Indigo Stars’ avg finish per event of 4.667 avg tie with the ML16 Thunderbolts for 7th best avg finish per event in the first 6 events. The 6 ahead of the Stars are:
ML21 Team Momo-4.5
ML20 Minty Maniacs-4.5
ML17 Savage Speeders-4.33
ML23 Savage Speeders-4
ML20 Crazy Cat’s Eyes-3.667
ML19 Green Ducks-3.667

Indigo Stars 96pts breaks the record for most pts by Event 6. The previous list from 1-5 were the ML17 Savage Speeders, 92pts, ML20 Minty Maniacs, 91pts and the ML19 Green Ducks, ML20 O’rangers and ML20 Crazy Cat’s Eyes all tied at 90pts.

Another interesting fact is that every team who had 85pts or more by event 6 never won their respective championship:
ML25 Oceanics(87pts, 2nd)
ML23 Bumblebees(89pts, 2nd)
ML23 Savage Speeders(88pts, 3rd)
ML20 Minty Maniacs(91pts, 3rd)
ML20 O’rangers(90pts, 2nd)
ML20 Crazy Cat’s Eyes(90pts, 5th)
ML19 Green Ducks(90pts, 2nd)
ML17 Savage Speeders(92pts, 2nd)
ML16 Thunderbolts(86pts, 3rd)

With Crazy Cat’s Eyes placing 8th in the standings after E6, they’ve placed 8th after an event in 7/8 of the MLs they’ve been in. The only one they’ve never been in 8th was ML20.

Black Jacks have also placed 14th in the standings after an event for the first time. The only position they’ve yet to be in is 15th.

With Indigo Stars still never placing out of the top 3 after every event, they join ML20 Minty Maniacs, ML21 Raspberry Racers, ML23 Savage Speeders and ML23 Crazy Cat’s Eyes, ML25 Oceanics and ML25 Midnight Wisps as the 7th team to stay in the top 3 in the first 6 events. The Stars, ML20 Minty Maniacs and ML25 Oceanics are also the only teams to be in the top 2 after every event in the first 6 events. Those Minties finished 3rd, the Oceanics finished 2nd and perhaps the Stars will finish 1st to finish the cycle.

Indigo Stars are the first ever team to lead from E4-6. No team has ever led in those 3 events consecutively. In fact, with them leading in 4 out of the first 6 events, they join ML25 Oceanics, ML19 Savage Speeders and ML20 Minty Maniacs to lead in at least 4 of the first 6 events.

Indigo Stars now have led 5 total ML events, the same amount as the Midnight Wisps, Bumblebees and Green Ducks have in all of their careers.

Raspberry Racers’ gold medal in this event means that they’ve won a gold medal in every ML they’ve been in since 2019, a 8-ML streak. The Hazers and Pinkies are the only other team to have won a gold medal in every ML they’ve been in since 2019.

Both Kobalts’ 30pts and Indigo Stars’ 96pts after this event are the first time either point total has been achieved by a team after Event 6.

Solar Flares have gotten 7th in an event for their first time. That leaves Black Jacks, Kobalts, Team Plasma, Wolfpack and Jawbreakers as the only active teams to not yet have gotten it.

Raspberry Racers’ Gold medal brings their total Gold medal count to 9. If they win one more, they’ll join Savage Speeders as the 2nd team to win 10 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals each.

Pinkies’ Bronze medal is their 10th Bronze medal in their ML careers. They join Savage Speeders, Raspberry Racers and Crazy Cat’s Eyes as the 4th team to have 10 or more Bronze medals.

Raspberry Racers jumped 9 spots after this event and with Pinkies and Hazers both gaining 10 spots in E5 and E3 respectively, this is the first ML where 3 different teams gained at least 9 spots after an Event. Before ML26, there had been only 7 times where a team jumped 9 or more spots in the standings. Now there’s been 3 just this season.

Indigo Stars’ 29pt lead is not only the biggest lead a team has ever had in Event 6 but the 3rd biggest lead of all time beaten by O’rangers 35pt lead in ML20 and of course their own 34pt lead back in E5. It is not only the 2nd time that a team has led by 25pts or more in 2 consecutive games with the other being ML17 Speeders from E9-10, but also the first time that a team has led by 20pts or more in 3 consecutive games. There have been 12 events in ML history where a team has led by 20 or more pts, Indigo Stars have 3 of them. Only the Savage Speeders have more than them with 4.

Here’s a list of teams with 7 or more ML appearances to never accomplish that even once:
Pinkies
Crazy Cat’s Eyes
Raspberry Racers
Mellow Yellow
Thunderbolts
Oceanics
Midnight Wisps
Green Ducks
Chocolatiers
Balls of Chaos

MLS26 Event 2
Thunderbolts’ silver medal in this event has ended the longest active medal drought of all active teams in ML, MLS or M1. Before this, their last medal in any of the 3 tournaments was ML23 Event 14 back on November 25, 2023. The longest medal drought in all 3 tournaments now belongs to the Jungle Jumpers who haven’t won once since ML24 Event 16 on December 29, 2024. The time difference between Bolts and Jumpers’ last medal is 1 year, 1 month and 4 days.

The Thunderbolts gold medal is not only their first medal but also their first top 4 finish in ML, MLS or M1 since ML23 E14.

With the Wolfpack leading this event, they’ve not only led for the first time in a MLS tournament but in ML and M1 too. The Limers and Gliding Glaciers now remain as the only 2 teams to have never led once in all 3 tournaments. Limers have participated in over 128 combined ML, MLS and M1 events. Not a single one they’ve led in.

With Rojo Rollers, Team Galactic and Jawbreakers all getting bottom half finishes, it is the 3rd time ever in MLS that all 3 teams on the podium would get a bottom half finish in the next event. The other times were from E2-3 and E4-5 in MLS23.

After Balls of Chaos got last, they’ve gotten last place in all MLS tournaments they’ve been in. They alongside Minty Maniacs and Hazers are the only teams with 3 or more Showdown appearances to have gotten last place in at least one event in every Showdown they’ve been in. Rn, the Minty Maniacs have to get last once to continue their streak.

Analyzing ML2026 E6: Funnel Endurance, A Chaotic Event

While watching this years Funnel Endurance race, I thought that there were lots of crazy lead changes throughout the funnels, so I decided to go through the video slowly and make some data to analyze it. If anyone wants to take my data and make some nice visual infographs from them please feel free to use the data!

Methodology:

For the starting blocks I measured when the marbles crossed the plastic divider to the first funnel. For subsequent funnels I measured when the marble dropped through the funnels hole. There may be a few (especially late on in the event) where the marbles transitioned off-screen, for these I guessed a time.

Graphs shown:

  1. Position of each marble 1-16 as they exit the numbered funnel

  2. Time spent in each funnel

  3. Raw Time Data (for anyone who wants to make nicer looking graphics)

Interesting "Awards":

Funnel Hog (awarded to the marble who stayed in a single funnel for the longest amount of time)

3rd Tied: Oceanics Funnel 7 and Solar Flares Funnel 13 at 19.40 seconds

2nd: Crazy Cats Eyes Funnel 11 at 19.97 seconds

1st: Green Ducks Funnel 8 at 22.18 seconds

Speed Demon (awarded to the marble who stayed in a single funnel for the shortest amount of time)

3rd: Bumblebees Funnel 4 at 2.08 seconds

2nd: Savage Speeders Funnel 4 at 1.86 seconds

1st: Hazers Funnel 2 at 1.44 seconds

Best Funnel (awarded to the marble who gained the most positions in one funnel)

2nd Tied: Kobalts Funnel 8 (14->3), Raspberry Racers Funnel 5 (12->1), Green Ducks Funnel 8 (12->1), Oceanics Funnel 7 (12->1)

1st: Black Jacks Funnel 6 (14->1)

ML26 Fantasy Marball Event 4 Results

Radiance, Save Me! (Detro) (46.5) vs Astro Cat (46)
Senkel, BlackPink Ambassador (58.5) vs Erto (46.5)

Rich_Original8676 (56.5) vs Comap (51)
RazzyRailfan (52) vs Depressed Tanner (48)
Ari (59.5) vs turtlepower0704 (61.5)
Sky (87.5) vs Continue (45)
GreenNinja (26.5) vs Aidan (33)
Lord of Sheep (47.5) vs Maxendo (41.5)
Ames (45.5) vs Osim (73.5)
AverageLithuanian (69) vs Coco (52.5)
Super Yak (79.5) vs Raven (71)

xlucella (68) vs JCEurovisionFan (45)
Myitta (30) vs L-Marball (32)
NeverEatDawnSoap (36.5) vs Everyday_3 (37)

- Shoutout to Mathew117 for the highest score this event, with 96.5.

- While it is still early, as I mentioned last event, there are already teams who have started to separate themselves. The three undefeated teams remained so this week, and we are still on a collision course for a possible championship preview between 2 of those undefeated teams, Bluezeronium and ResidentDO, in event 6.

- The Cravendale Division proved me right by being the division to beat, with 4 of the 5 members getting the win this week, and their worst member (Raven) sitting at 2-2. If the regular season ended today, all 5 division members would make the playoffs. That is insane.

- There are also a lot of other very strong 3-1 teams, with Mathew117 and Sky having the most overall points scored at 293.5 and 291.25 respectively, almost 30 points clear of turtlepower0704 who has the 3rd most.

- I do have to acknowledge someone who has some of the worst luck ive seen in the three years I've run this. Avacodoh currently sits at 1-3 despite the 4th highest points for, due to an outrageous 285 points scored against. Usually high scores like this will even itself out, but it can certainly be discouraging to see your predictions doing well but still losing.

- Lastly, as I keep saying, it is still early in the competition. If you arent doing as well as you might hope, there is still a lot of competition to play. Even if winning your division may seem unrealistic, there are still a lot of wild card spots to go around for everyone. Have faith.

To view the results for this round and access the pick forms for the next round, you can view the standings spreadsheet located here: ML26 Fantasy Marball

Good luck in the next event (Hurdles), and hopefully they will release the individual lineups for it, ideally with plenty of time to allow you to make proper picks.

Cobalt Column ML26 E6: Funnelled

E6 - Funnels

It's Kobover. We fucking suck, back to the irrelevancy and mockery we go.

That's it. That's the article for today. My mood is so fucking tanked and I'm so upset at how we're doing that I can't even be bothered to give actual commentary. Thunderbolts still suffer from gold-drought I guess.

It's Kobover. Goodbye. Sorry if you expected something today. But I'm fucking sick of this.

See you next event.

JMR Eliminator Fantasy - Marble League 2026 - Event 6 Results and Event 7 Predictions

https://preview.redd.it/wb3nje4u5j1h1.png?width=1206&format=png&auto=webp&s=90666ffd89312ea0d84c4cb82f9a4434885b6a74

Hello everybody!

The sixth event of the Marble League is the one that is, on paper, the most chaotic. Especially with a changed format. However, amid all of the chaos, the Raspberry Racers being good in Funnel Endurance is a constant. And with a full 25-points, this round was a high-scorer for most of the players, with the 10th highest score exceeding the 80% of the winner's score, in turn maximizing the extra lives awarded in this Event. However, with only one event left in the first stage, it will soon get harder to earn bonuses.

RESULTS: Round [PDF] / Overall [XLS]

STATS:

Category: Score .
Winner: 128 pts = 83,7% WiscoMTFan
Extra life treshold: 102,4 pts - 80% score rule Clear Rate: 16/73 = 21,9%
Roldo score: 57 pts Clear Rate: 27/91 = 72,6%
Average player score: 75,7 pts
Median player score: 76 pts
Score spread: 111 pts 17 ~ 128 pts
Players reaching R07//R08//R09//R10//R11: 17//23//11//11//5 50x Bronze; 5x Silver
Players receiving DNF: 6 Remaining: 67 = 73,6%

FORM FOR NEXT EVENT: Link - Deadline on 20 May at 17:59 CEST

The Roldo's picks for Event 7 are as follows:

  • 3x Mellow Yellow (MYL)
  • 2x Kobalts (KOB)
  • 1x Chocolatiers (SFL)
  • 1x Black Jacks (BLJ)
  • 1x Oceanics (OCE)

Next Wednesday will be a bit busy for me, so don't expect the results to drop less than an hour after event like today.

Until next time,
