Dr. Jessica Tarlov
Did anybody else not know until today that Jessica Tarlov has a PhD?
She graduated in 2012 from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I won't pretend to have read her dissertation, but its readily available online. She is an impressive person. And I think her profile and name recognition is going to blow up over the next year. I am already seeing evidence to suggest that she could act as a proxy - a behavioral and cognitive model for some of FOX News' audience who are maybe internally motivated to deconstruct but may not not know how - or where to start, or what that might look like in practical terms. This is especially true in the context of her presentation in a prime time slot, checking Jessie Watters and his obnoxious, dominant tendencies (again - a proxy for obnoxiously partisan rage-baiters in our lives; some more than others, and certainly more so for the mean Fox news viewer).
Anyways, thought I would share. If anyone's interested, her dissertation is readily available online.
