I personally feel that it’s completely unacceptable that a hurricane that formed in the Gulf of America and made first landfall in America has a foreign name that we can’t even pronounce. What was it, a boy or a girl hurricane? Completely unacceptable. I propose that we immediately rename it before we all mispronounce that name any further. I personally want a strong all American name, how about Hurricane Bubba.

I come from the land of the Haudenosaunee, commonly known as the Iroquois Confederacy. They are the indigenous peoples that our founding fathers visited. They are one of the oldest democracies known, dating back to the 14th century. The Confederacy is comprised of six tribes with a further breakdown into clans. It is a matriarchal society with each clan having a clan mother. It is a society with a clear respect for both sexes with each appreciating the other’s merits. It was the Confederacy that assisted our founding fathers in forming the blueprint for our society. They suggested that the colonists band together, putting aside their personal differences. One arrow at a time is easy to break whereas a handful is difficult. That is why on our emblem the bald eagle is clutching a claw full of arrows. Our founding fathers adapted most of the concepts, not all. The Iroquois clan mothers maintained the right to vote out the chief if they felt the situation merited. That one didn’t pass stuff. Like then, we need to come together, that’s what we were founded on. Everyone knows that the truth lies in the middle, let’s quit the bullshit and go there.
If politics is the science of governing an entity such as a government then should peace not be the ultimate goal of such an entity? Shouldn’t they travel as companions, side by side? That is unless Manifest Destiny is the goal. But if that’s the case why would the Nobel Prize even matter? Perhaps something off a game show would be more appropriate.
