We’re currently looking for a few UAE-based people to help with a remote content review project as part of a small international team.

The work mostly involves reviewing short user-generated posts, checking content against internal guidelines, flagging inconsistencies, and helping maintain overall platform quality. Nothing sales-related or customer support related — more detail-oriented online work.

The role is part-time (around 10–15 hrs/week), fully remote, and flexible since tasks are completed asynchronously. The team communicates in English and onboarding includes a short paid trial task before full access to projects.

Compensation usually falls around 30–45 $/hour depending on task complexity and consistency, with occasional performance bonuses.

Main things we’re looking for are decent written English, reliability, and the ability to follow structured instructions carefully.

I have been recently searching for private housekeeper prospects in UAE. A little backstory,, I worked for a certain company (BPO)in its Nairobi Branch for 7 years. So I was confident I'm a skilled female coming to thrive in UAE. In 2025 I squeezed my life In 2 bags and left everything behind.Looking back I wish I knew what I know now but I'm not punishing myself for not knowing. I'm a UAE resident who completed my Physiotherapy degree abroad and recently completed my Master's in Neuro Physiotherapy as well. I'm currently trying to enter the UAE healthcare field and gain UAE clinical experience for future licensing.

A hospital offered me a "Trainee Physiotherapist" position. They said they will provide a labour card/work permit and hospital exposure, but there is no stipend. They are asking me to pay AED 4,000 per month, and from that amount they return AED 1,000 as "salary." They also mentioned AED 1,000 is needed for the labour card/work permit process.

They said I'll receive:

- Labour card/work permit

- Clinical exposure

Experience certificate

I wanted honest advice from people working in UAE healthcare:

- Is this normal for foreign graduates/UAE residents entering physiotherapy here?

- Do hospitals usually charge trainees like this?

Will this kind of trainee experience actually help for MOHAP/DHA licensing later?

- Is this worth doing for UAE experience, or does it sound suspicious?

Would really appreciate genuine guidance from anyone in physiotherapy or UAE healthcare recruitment.

I came to Dubai with more than seven years of experience in the hospitality industry, hoping to secure a decent job and build a stable career. However, due to the pressure of my visit visa expiring, I was forced to accept a position that paid only AED 4,000 per month without even providing an employment visa. Eventually, I resigned from that job and joined a hotel in Deira that offered AED 2,500 plus accommodation.

I accepted the offer only because my visa situation left me with very limited options. Unfortunately, the hotel environment was highly unprofessional. It was a newly established property with inexperienced staff, poor management, and no proper system in place. There were no incentives, bonuses, or salary increments despite the workload and challenges.

After six months, I decided to leave and joined a travel agency that initially offered AED 3,500. Later, my salary was increased to AED 4,000, but even after working there for two years and putting in tremendous effort, I never received any increment or recognition for my hard work.

In all three organizations, my supervisors were Asians, and I often felt that employees were underpaid regardless of their experience or dedication. Living expenses in Dubai are extremely high. Renting even a small partition room without a private washroom or kitchen costs between AED 2,700 and AED 3,500 per month, while groceries and other essentials cost an additional AED 800 to AED 1,000. Under such circumstances, it becomes almost impossible to save money or maintain a decent quality of life.

At times, I feel discouraged and believe that people who do not belong to European, Russian, or American backgrounds are rarely offered higher salaries, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
