Guys do you remember the scam job weather-ai dot com that I posted a while back? There’s a potential new one. I’m not saying this one is, but is has some red flags.

1. Vibecoded website in haste
2. Spotty online presence. They picked a common company name so that Google would return something. However the LinkedIn is new and says privately owned.
3. JD with “easy” requirements. I can’t believe I’m saying this but only legit companies ask for 10 years of Claude code experience.

Hi, I know this might be a long read, but please stay with me for a minute.

I'm a mom in my early 20s, and lately I feel like I'm losing it. At this point, this is the only thing I could think of doing.

PS: I'm not here to ask for free money.

I've been working remotely for about six months now. Everything was going great and I was able to support myself and my one year old baby. Lately though, account haijakua na kazi. It's now been two months since this happened.

That account served me well. Nililipa madeni over 150k, nikabakisha kiasi which I'm still hopeful I'll clear. But now I'm worried because I'm only adding more debt. I know this is probably temporary and eventually things will work out again, but right now things are really difficult.

So why am I writing this?

I just signed up with a camming agency, and honestly, my heart is so heavy. I'm asking myself what would happen if my child comes across those clips of me in the future. I don't really care what people say about me, but as much as I'd be doing it for my child, I feel like there could be consequences later on.

At the same time, naangalia hata sijui kesho akiamka ni nini atakula. I can't even afford ile sabuni ya 40 bob. Leo nimeomba hadi matchstick. Rent ndio hiyo imefika. It's midnight as I'm writing this, and I'm just sitting here wondering whether I should go through with it or not.

Then I thought... naweza pata kazi hapa?

Instead of asking for money, I'd rather ask for work.

I know how ridiculous this sounds but here me out. I am among other things a farmer specifically a beekeeper. I have been trying to find a beekeeping technician, all of them are working somewhere even those I train.

Two when the GOK announced the payments on intern doctors the dental technicians (not sure of the correct name) were very few compared to other cadres.

Three when I was looking for a speech therapist for my daughter I got around 5 in nairobi and only one would take me as the others were fully booked the price almost made me cry but anything for my princess.

I am not sure on who to blame the government, the education sector, parents, students,society?

But for now I blame Kasongo.
