I built a website to help people discover the best deals and promotions from local restaurants and cafés

I’ve created a website dedicated to helping people save money on dining out and connecting them with great local food spots. If you’re looking for a good place to eat, you can check the Offers section to find ongoing discounts, meal combos, and special promotions near you. There’s also an explore section where you can discover new cafés and restaurants, check their specialties, and find recommendations. The website also includes a community section with updates on new openings, trending spots, and honest reviews. I’ve also created a partner section for restaurant and café owners who would like to collaborate. Businesses can share their latest menus and promotional deals directly so customers can easily find them. The goal is to bring all of these things together in one place and make it easier for people to enjoy great food without overspending. If you own or manage a restaurant or café, you are more than welcome to reach out to list your business and share your offers. I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look and share it with anyone who might find it useful.

NB : You might wonder why there are few places , reason is I'm still talking to business owners there and have few I'm talking to, and would love to add more so we can make discovering places and offers effortless

How can someone in their mid 30s yl9a stage ?

To put simple.

I'm a 35 years old IT expert I used to work at a computer shop up to 2022, my business was affected by covid, actually clients stopped coming to repair laptops way earlier and I'm not really into phone repairs so I eventually closed my shop, I tried selling gaming hardware it's just too expensive for people to buy and I'm really out of funds..

what I do have is years of experience in dealing with computers, especially in IT I've spent the last 4 years studying some certifications online and I'm confident enough to say that I learned a lot.

But you know Morocco, when you apply for jobs all they care about is academic papers, so here I am asking reddit for guidance, where do I start ? people have told me khassk les stage but when I apply, no answers.

Any advice would be appreciated ?

Still building out the AI team, need developers, web designers, and graphic designers

Update from my last post, things are moving and the team is starting to come together. Still not going to get into the specifics publicly, if you're curious just DM me and I'll walk you through it.

Right now I specifically need a few more people:

Developers, doesn't have to be an AI expert, if you know the basics and can figure the rest out as you go that's enough.

Web designers, someone who can actually make things look good and function well, not just template work.

Graphic designers, for branding, visuals, whatever the project needs as it grows.

Same as before, I'm not really "hiring" in the normal sense. Looking for people who are hungry and disciplined, that's it. If you want fast money or an easy remote gig, this isn't it. If you're the type who wants to build something real and doesn't need someone checking in on you every day, that's who I want.

If that's you, send me a DM, tell me which role fits you and a bit about what you've built or worked on before, doesn't need to be an official job, just show me you can actually do stuff.

Beginner Model Looking for Opportunities

Hi everyone! I’m interested in getting into modeling and I’m currently looking for opportunities to gain experience as a beginner, particularly around Rabat, Morocco.
I’m new to the industry and don’t have professional modeling experience yet, but I’m serious about learning and building a portfolio. I’d be interested in beginner-friendly castings, photography collaborations (TFP), fashion/editorial projects, or legitimate modeling opportunities.
If you’re a photographer, agency, casting director, designer, or model who knows of opportunities suitable for someone starting out, I’d really appreciate any advice or leads.
Please feel free to comment or DM me if you know of something relevant. Thank you!

Moroccan working remotely for a foreign company — how do you handle taxes?

Salam everyone,

I'm a Moroccan living in Morocco and working remotely for a Canadian company as an AI/software engineer.

I've been receiving my full salary directly into my Moroccan bank account, with no Moroccan or Canadian tax/CNSS deductions. I'm currently at around $1,575/month, going up to about $1,750 (~16k MAD) soon.

I'm trying to figure out how to properly regularize this. I've looked into auto-entrepreneur, CPU, RNS/RNR, SARL AU and portage salarial, but every option seems to have different taxes, social contributions and complications. CPU also seems to exclude IT/software service providers.

I'd really like to hear from Moroccans in a similar situation:

  • What status are you using?
  • How much do you actually pay in taxes/contributions/accounting?
  • Are you using RNS/RNR, SARL, portage, EOR, or something else?
  • How do you handle a single foreign client?
  • Has your status affected visa applications/residency abroad or proof of income?

I don't want to unnecessarily lose a huge portion of my income.

If you're doing something similar, I'd really appreciate hearing what you're actually doing and what your experience has been.

Building something in AI, putting together a full team (5-6 people) to build it with me

I've been heads down on an AI project for a while now and it's starting to get real traction. Not going to get into specifics here, if you're curious just DM me and I'll walk you through it.

This isn't a "looking for one person" post, I'm building out a full team, 5 to 6 people. Right now the biggest gap is a developer, doesn't have to be an AI expert, if you know the basics and you're not afraid to figure the rest out as you go, that's enough. Beyond that I need people across sales, marketing, and ops too, if you're strong in one of those and bring the right mindset there's a spot for you.

I'm not really "hiring" in the normal sense. I'm looking for people who are hungry and disciplined, that's it. If you're looking for fast money or an easy remote gig, this isn't it, keep scrolling. But if you're the type who wants to build something real and doesn't need someone checking in on you every day, I want to talk to you.

If that's you, send me a DM and tell me which of those areas fits you (dev, sales, marketing, ops) and a bit about what you've built or worked on before, doesn't need to be an official job, just show me you can actually do stuff.
