Love shack by the B52s sounds like John sung it
I heard the similarity in the radio and started dying laughing. "Juke box MONAY!" especially sounds like him.

Without question, the funniest show I've ever seen. All 4 comediennes were funnier than hell and John really killed it. All of them called the venue by the wrong name multiple times and we couldn't figure out if it was that they honestly didn't know, or if it was a bit. If you get the chance, definitely go!
I cried laughing at some parts and I don’t want to ruin it for anyone else so I won’t say much. I will say his comedy seems more mature and less for younger audiences with each tour. I honestly like that. He’s 43 and in a different place in his life than when he did the comeback kid. If you plan to bring your kids to future shows just be aware of that. He even said that he’s been clear about that in recent years but people keep bringing little kids. My teen loved it but I saw some kids around 9ish and I can’t imagine they understood half the jokes. One mom looked uncomfortable during the devil bit but that’s on her for bringing her young daughter.
Anyone else at last nights show? Thoughts?
If anyone was born to make the greatest sitcom of all time, it is John Mulaney. His first attempt means nothing to me. We know what he’s about now.
this joke was cut out of the netflix special, but basically john was talking about how in elementary school everyone would have a little science experiment like a bean sprout or a baking soda volcano and there would be like thirty of them by the windowsill. then one morning everyone would run in excited to see their experiment and they'd all be gone and the teacher would explain "oh, the janitor must have thrown them away." and it makes you wonder what the janitor was doing that made him want to throw away thirty volcanos. like he's just walking by with his rolling trash can and sweeping them in with his arm yelling "FUCK THIS VOLCANO! FUCK THIS VOLCANO!"
my mom and i were in the crowd crying laughing and we still say "FUCK THIS VOLCANO" three years later. i was wondering if anyone else remembered this moment and has any other details to add or if this is something that will live on in only my memory
Notes: Our fave GQ author wrote this article and there are spoilers from his current set within.
Anyone know if any of John's various appearance's from last week's festival will be on Netflix? I think he did something with Pete Davidson and then with Letterman.
