John Wick failed Daisy and he’s avenging his own failure
Iosef threatened John at the gas station. John immediately recognized the threat, answered him in Russian and remained completely unfazed. Yet he went home unprepared and failed to protect Daisy. He destroys everyone responsible for Daisy’s death, except the one person whose failure made her death possible in the first place: himself.
It’s often said that John Wick kills all these people over a dog. It’s not about a dog. It’s about his own guilt. He directs that guilt outward, trying to cope with his own failure through revenge. That’s why his revenge becomes all-consuming.
Just because someone in the comments said f*** dogs and was being negative, I'm going to be petty and post this picture with Keanu Reeves and Daisy.
The upcoming John Wick film marks the beginning of a new chapter that has the potential to either elevate or jeopardize the Keanu Reeves franchise.
grababyte.inKeanu Reeves fan - 12 Years late to John Wick!
Despite being one of the biggest action franchises of the century, and being an action fan, Keanu Reeves fan and a cinema fan, I’ve never seen John Wick until today. Strangely, I have seen JW2 in 2017, once. I’ve heard the hype time and time again and went in with high expectations.
And wow! It does live up! The story is compact enough to digest, yet has enough depth to feel the movie. The setup is short and not-so-sweet, and then BOOM, action. Enough action to satisfy anyone’s bloodbath-explosions-gunshots-limb breaking itch.
The striking choreography looks incredible in the various settings, light, dark, rain and shine. The shots themselves add just the right feel to the scene, the quick’s cuts and pace through the flashing nightclub or the dark angles through John’s house, all setting the scene.
My favourite observation was on the realism of John himself. Protagonist actually gets hurt! He has a realistic skill set for a Hitman, incredible aim, movement, combat and arsenal, but he does get stabbed, punched, hit by cars and actually reaps the consequences! And doesn’t get out of bad situations by blind luck or super human abilities, and that was truly selling it for me throughout.
Overall I couldn’t give the movie any less than a 10/10, personally. Masterpiece!
Is it true that John Wick doesn't want to name his new dog so he doesn't get attached and go through what he went through with Daisy?
My John Wick 1 Collection
Got a lot of the guns from jw1, currently just need an hk416 and a kel tec ksg and it'll be complete.
The gear is as follows:
Tokyo Marui Hk45 Tactical with compensator from ebay
VFC HK45 Tactical with compensator from ebay
HK45 mag from KWA, and another from TM
3d printed glock 26 mags for display
Tokyo Marui glock 26
3d printed second glock 26 just for display
KA-BAR Tanto
3d printed incendiary grenades (they actually open up and hold bbs inside)
Microtech ultratech OTF knife
Recreated his weapon tray in his trunk that he digs up the concrete to get. I don't have a cnc machine or anything so I cut it by hand, because of this the lines are pretty meh. Might eventually redo it but for now I'm happy with it.
Bought all the airsoft guns second hand. Also I know technically he uses the HKp30l but they don't make an airsoft version so I went with HK45s instead.
Saw this sick pinball machine the other day
Too bad I didn’t have any quarters with me otherwise I would have totally played this thing.
John Wick 5 - Wishlist
I'm hoping Keanu will read this!😋 I'm joking, sort of!
Okay, I'm extremely late to the game and watched John Wick, for the first time, three weeks ago. (All four movies) And, I'm now a fan. Sort of.
Though I am hooked and looking forward to the next movie, I thought some of the fight scenes were much too long. Though I did enjoy the fighting up the stairs scene - reminded me of a video game:) (I know others feel the same way.)
My wish list for the next one:
- More non-fight scenes: Though they were extremely well played, etc., it is the scenes with Wick and the various cast members that made me love the movie.
- Have more female fighters/warriors.
- I'm also very happy that Caine was not killed off!
My John Wick Loadout. Need Y'alls thoughts
Introduction
So I was watching John Wick: Chapter 2 the other day and thought, "I'd love to shoot people like John Wick". From there I remembered that John Wick is in Payday 2 and tried to build a loadout that is accurate to the movies.
The Guns
Primary: Car-4
In John Wick (2014), John Wick can be seen wielding a Coharie Arms CA-415. The rifle is used in the movie for the "Church Shootout" scene. For the game, I went with the CAR-4. In the photo provided, the gun has a sight, magazine, laser sight, and a vertical foregrip attachment. With this in mind, I added a short barrel, tactical laser module, tactical magazine, and a holographic sight. I was unable to find a vertical grip attachment, so I think this is the best I could do with what I had available.
Secondary: Contractor Pistol
This was an obvious choice. The pistol used in the 2014 movie is a Heckler & Koch P30L with a compensator. This pistol can be seen in the movie during the Nightclub scene. For Payday 2, the Contractor pistol comes with the "Contractor Compensator". I also added Tritium sights.
Throwable: Throwing Knife
I can't recall an exact moment where John Wick throws a knife in any of the movies, but there is a fight scene in John Wick: Chapter 3 where John Wick throws a knife at someone. However, it is not the knife we get in game.
Melee: Fists
Throughout the whole franchise, John Wick is always using his knowledge of martial arts to takedown his opponents, so picking fists as melee was an easy choice. My first draft of the loadout did have a few Brawler sub-tree skills, but I dropped those to make the build more gun-focused.
Armor: Two Piece Suit
dont overthink this part
Equipment: First Aid Kit
I picked FAKs because I'll probably be getting shot a lot since there is very little dodge to this build. If you are interested in running this build, go with any equipment!
Perk Deck
Perk Deck: Hitman
John Wick is known by every character throughout the movies because of his work with the Russian mob as a hitman. It made sense to pick the Hitman perk deck.
Skills
Mastermind
First Aid Kits and Stable shot for weapon stability.
Enforcer
Underdog because John Wick is usually always fighting multiple enemies at once. As well as aced resilience for aced shock and awe and basic bullseye.
Technician
Aced Steady Grip and Aced Fire Control for better weapon handling. Lock N Load for sprinting while shooting. Aced Surefire for the extra firepower.
Ghost
For this build to be viable in higher difficulties, it needs a gimmick. With that in mind, I just did a basic dodge/crit build.
Fugitive
The rest of my skill points were put into maxing out Gunslinger.
Conclusion
I am proud to say that I was able to get nearly identical guns based on John Wick (2014), except that damn vertical grip for the CAR-4. Additionally, the Skills resemble the skills of John Wick in the movies.
I hope yall like my loadout and please don't be afraid to comment what parts you might have done differently.
Thank you!

What other Keanu movies have you seen? Which do you recommend?
I'll start with the obvious, I really, really love The Matrix Trilogy, and it's my all time favorite trilogy. Love all 3 movies.
I kinda like The Day The Earth Stood Still.
I also love The first 2 Bill and Ted movies. Really love Carlin in them especially.
Trying to remember what else I love that he's been in.
I also hear that he's read scripts for movies that he wants to exist, and he fully funds them and stars in them, even though he knows that they're not gonna do well financially or critically. IIRC The Day The Earth Stood Still was one of the movies.
With the upcoming Caine movie and Phantom Blade Zero (new video game) being added to his resume, Donnie Yen is getting another highlight period of his career post-Ip Man.
I'm just happy for this guy, he's an absolute legend.
The Harbinger has more respect then the fucking adjudicator
The adjudictor walks in says nothing just slides her 1 week AA chip across the front desk like its supposed to mean something, the harbinger at least politely asked for the manager
So i had a thought.
Just did a marathon rewatch of all 4 films and watching the fourth and seeing john climb the steps and i remember thinking "john sure is lucky marcus (Willam Defoe in the first film) was apparently the only sniper in this massive criminal underworld"
