Mochi practices questionable

Today I receive a vial of semaglutide and there was no label on it. It was a dark vial, looked dirty. How is one suppose to trust Mochi???? It’s reckless. I hope Mochi does not wonder why people question them all the time!!! 😡 Done with them!

I’m so confused!

Hi all, Iv been on the Walgreens telehealth weight loss deal since April. On 1.7mg wegovey shots 400 dollars a month. I love it because it’s very easy, fast and simple to use (pen and the services). But due to price, im ready to switch to compound. I come here and I see this sub melting down? Anxiety over pharmacy’s? Mixing issues? I was close to signing up for mochi, then I checked out PreventativeMD and I’m just not sure. Can yall help clear up what the heck I should do?

Pricing!

What’s going on with mochi. I have been with them for the last year and half. I’ve been on semaglutide. Last month I had my doctor switch me over to triz because I felt like I was no longer losing weight. I went from 272-168.

My weight has been bouncing from 168-175. I can’t seem to get no lower than that. So I figure why not switch over to triz to see if it helps with this plateau.

I also cancel my membership every month. When I am ready to reorder I’ll reactive it and place a new order.

Last night I received an email about triz now being $90.00.
I immediately logged in and paid my membership fee and went to place an order.

When I was trying to chose my dosage the price went up to $174.00. Like what???????

Please don’t tell me that they are charging more by dosage!!! Like I really loved mochi for their pricing.

I’ve been thinking about switching to provider because of the cost for triz. Other companies have it cheaper anyways but I only was planning to stay on the shot for another two months and then be done all together.

Now I don’t see a reason to stay! I am even more pissed that I just paid a membership fee!!!!

What other companies are you switching to?

Is it Working?

I started on 2.2mg tirz+cyanocobalamin a little over a month ago. I did 4 shots of that dosage and then upped to 4.4mg. My first shot of 4.4mg was last week - so I have done 5 shots total now. My 6th will be tomorrow.
I have definitely noticed a difference in my inflammation. But I have only lost around 4 pounds, if that. I am an avid gym-goer and always have been. I've been keeping up with my regular gym routine. I feel like it's been hard for me to eat since raising the dosage - I definitely notice a difference in the amount that I am eating. sometimes its worse than others, but I do my best to focus on protein and I am trying to eat enough.

Am I just jumping the gun by saying this isn't working yet? I guess I don't want to lose too much weight too fast, but I definitely thought I would have lost more by now, especially with the decreased appetite.
Thoughts? Has anyone experienced similar?

Any other low dosers?

My body seems extremely sensitive to this stuff so I am about to drop from 6.63 + 3.9 back down to 4.42 + 2.6. I know this is the right choice due to it being a real struggle to eat anything at all and extreme fatigue.

I am not worried about continuing to lose in the short term, I think on the lower dose I was how you are "supposed to feel" on this stuff as far as appetite and I didn't feel like I needed to sleep 24/7!

Just curious if anyone else has stayed at a low dose and still hit their goals, or if you were able to go up again later when your body adjusted.

ETA I am on Tirzepatide + B6

Semaglutide max dose

Just really quick, I’m on the max dose of injectable semi and I’m needing it every 5-6 days. Has this happened to anyone else, should I change to tirzepatide? Tia! I have a message out to my provider but I’m just curious about others here experiencing this.

Mochi Lacks Proper Medication Checks

This week, I had to cancel my Mochi service after being a loyal 18+ month subscriber to its offerings. I was horrified to realize I had received the wrong medication, something prescribed to someone with a similar name as mine.

The medication type, dosage, patient birthdate, address, etc. were all different. The only similarity was our names, Krista vs. Kristi - and somehow I ended up with her meds.

Earlier this year, I had a horrible reaction to the new B12 additives in my medication. While the Mochi team was apologetic over chat, they did nothing to help address my issues. I ultimately needed an IV to flush my system and the horrible dehydration I experienced from such severe nausea. Since then, I've been very careful to ensure B12 is not in medication.

As soon as I went to fill my needle, I saw the pink coloring and I knew this medication was wrong but I had no idea how wrong it really wants.

Receiving the incorrect medication is a severe breach of proper pharmacy distribution practices, quality control, and patient safety protocols. It's even scarier when dispensing wrong medication presents a serious medical risk. When I reached out over chat and phone trying to speak with Mochi leadership I was given no solutions. Later, I was offered a $40 account credit toward a service renewal - which completely fails to address the gravity of this error or the underlying compliance and safety concerns.

Due to this lapse, I will no longer trust Mochi with my care. I am sorry to say I will be transitioning to a new medication supplier.

Absolutely insane increase on price of Tirz through Empower

I just received an email this morning stating my medication price is INCREASING. After Mochi sent an email stating that all prices were going to stay the same or decrease. I had to message Mochi to get any sort of idea of price because of a very vague email sent about this and once I got an actual person and not the stupid AI bot, they told me my dose 12.5mg of Tirz will be $250 (!!!!) Sept 12th... all 3 higher doses will be $250. I'm not even on the highest dose yet and I probably need to move up.

First of all, that is a $51 increase in price for no reason at all. I can't tell if this is ONLY through Empower or not. IF not, their email saying that prices will only be lower or staying the same is absolutely false. How do you send out an email stating "your meds will decrease or stay the same" and then jack up the cost to $250!? I also hate that I can't order large batches through Mochi.

If this is true, it's 100% time to switch providers. I've had enough.

Bumping! For anyone coming here after Empower communication...

Hi! Mochi representative here! We know many received emails about certain doses increasing in price. I am here to add clarification to what is many changes over the last few days.

We take full ownership of the confusion this has caused. We worked very hard so that almost all of our partner pharmacies were able to make it so most patients are paying the same or less for their GLP-1s.

To directly address concerns that were raised: pricing for our standard network of pharmacies does not change day to day. If you're seeing fluctuation on your account, we'd like to look into that specifically, and please reach out to our care team so we can take a closer look.

Some pharmacies, including Empower and ReviveRx, are raising prices for certain doses starting September 12, 2026. Although these are above our standard rates, we've kept them as an option for patients who prefer to stay with them and they are the only pharmacies on our platform that have prices above our previous flat rate model (Please check out Mochi Shop for yourself!). If pricing changes affect you, we will provide advance notice, and work to offer alternative options along with time to adjust your medication or dose if needed, so you're never caught off guard.

You are not locked into any one pharmacy. Mochi works with many pharmacies, and several still offer the top dose at the previous price. You can choose to stay with your current pharmacy or switch to a lower-cost option before September 12, whichever works best for you. Your next refill before that date is not affected.

If you'd like help weighing your pharmacy options, our care team is happy to walk through it with you.

New Pricing at Mochi Explained

Hi everyone!

Some good news to start your day: as of yesterday, Mochi medication pricing for our Injectable GLP-1s has gone down and moved to a dose-dependent pricing model.

What this means for you:

  • No one's price went up. Most every dose is now the same or lower than before.
  • You pay based on your exact dose, so many of you are now paying less.
  • New prices: Semaglutide starts at $60 and Tirzepatide starts at $90 (medication price, and it varies by dose).
  • If you saw a higher price anywhere before this change, we have updated all pricing accordingly, so what you see now in the app reflects the correct, lower rate.

What to do:
Log into your Mochi app or portal and check the price for your current dose (easiest way is to select see details on portal or manage subscription on app for your GLP-1 and see the updated price!). Thinking about titrating up? You can also see what your next dose will cost, so there are no surprises.

As always, reach out to the care team if you have any questions!

Log into your app to see the price for your current dose, and check what your next dose will cost if you're planning to titrate up.

Price Change?

So it's great to hear they are lowering their price to compare to others. I was paying $199 for Tirzeptide. I was just charged $199 on August 8th. They have sent me a new prescription and I was notified today that the price has changed to $104 as of today August 11th. I'm not supposed to receive the new medication until the 13th. So I called asking if I can be reimbursed the amount since I haven't received the medication and they just changed the price two days later. I was told absolutely not. It doesn't make sense that you would adjust the pricing to keep up with the market but not reimburse me for a charge you did two days ago which I haven't even received the product. Considering this, I would rather go with another distributor that would be more willing to be consistent with their customers. Obviously we were being charged too much already. So they can keep the $95 and lose a customer and maybe more. I may be one person and this company doesn't care, but you reap what you sow.

Which compounded formula do you take?

So I didn’t know mochi has different compounds for different prices. I use the tirz with b3 so it’s on the more expensive side. Has anyone used the cheaper ones? I’m down 45 pounds since June. But would like to save some money where I can.
