Jupiter/PBG Events Calendar

Hi everyone! I was born & raised in Jupiter, FL and have recently moved back after graduating college. I kept finding myself saying "I don't know what to do today." So, I decided to make an ongoing events google calendar for Jupiter & PBG (and occasionally WPB).

While I can make no promises to it being updated with every event possible, I figured it would be a helpful community resource to share with anyone interested. It includes live music, run clubs, yoga, markets, trivia, etc that I am aware of around this area.

Of course, I have not included everything that is going on, as I am only one person, however, this is a start. If you know of any other events going on in the area that you would like me to add, please let me know!

Any communities similar to Abacoa?

hello wonderful people of Jupiter. Are there any communities similar to Abacoa in Jupiter or PBG? looking for good school system, family friendly, large houses, able to grab some food or do errands in a golf cart. We have been looking at houses in Abacoa but not a lot of inventory right now. thank you!

Short Story Club

Hi, all!

I am starting a group called Short Story Club, for people who enjoy writing and sharing their writing with others. This is not a formal critique group--it's just a casual way to creatively have fun and meet other people, hear others' stories, etc. Think Book Club meets The Moth.

The club will meet once a month in a public place. We'll have a prompt each month and everyone will interpret the prompt however they wish--part of the fun is seeing how are our minds lead us in wildly different directions.

I recently moved to the area from NYC and am looking to find new friends who share my interests. I currently work in commercial trade publishing (Ie., Penguin Random House, Simon&Schuster, etc) and up north I led a book club for almost a decade before I moved here. I also feel inspired to start the club to encourage and promote original, human-generated writing in an age where AI is increasingly being used.
