Would Orcas hunt the girls?

Heyy so I had this random thought. Orcas are predators to almost every living being under water, they hunt for fun and are very selective. They just eat the tongue of some whales because they can cherry pick the organs.

However, there hasn’t been a documented case where wild Orcas kill or hurt a human.

So technically the girls would be safe, right? I think they can sense our bone structure and don’t find us particularly delicious. They also seem to know that we are very smart and respect it, in a way.

But would they ignore that and just go for the girls‘ tail? Or would they realize that it‘s still a human, an odd looking one?
Obviously we can’t know but I‘d like to know your thoughts on this lol.

Please pardon my nonsense.

New Fanfic

Sorry if the formatting is weird I am typing on my phone.

Anyways I decided to write this idea of a fanfic continuation of the H20U, which I am very excited about and hope you guys would like to read.

This will have four mermaids instead three, no mermans( at least not yet.) It will be on the more mature side and the main girls will be original characters.

H2O’s season 3 and its criminally underrated colorful summery vibes 🐬🌈🌺

Two years after my last rewatch, I finally started a new rewatch of H2O: Just Add Water. Lately, I’ve really been needing something light and colorful, but at the same time a little dark and mysterious, so I decided to start with Season 3, which is seriously underrated.

I absolutely love the more mature and vibrant atmosphere of this season, which really sets it apart from the first two. There’s something about the color grading that makes it feel especially summery and visually captivating. The characters are also more self-assured and mature, and the overall tone gets darker, with bigger and more significant threats. It honestly makes me sad that this season is so underrated.

Bella is a lovely character (of course, she doesn’t replace Emma), Cleo and Lewis act like an old married couple, the girls are so much more confident, and Mako is more mysterious than ever.

If you still refuse to watch it, I honestly envy you, because I would pay to experience it again for the first time. You should really give it a chance!

I think once I finish Season 3, I’ll go back and start again from Season 1. I love this series so much!

lewis hair

This is a weird thing to say, but I just want to say I miss his hair :( In Season 1, I really liked his hair, but after Seasons 2–3, it’s okay, just not as good as the first season. It fit him more because of his goofy/nerdy personality. I know they changed it because of character development, but I still think his original hair from the first season is the best. What do you guys think?

Wetlands could've been so much better as a mermaid

Alright, here's the kick: Lately, I've been on a binge on Chinese dramas and mythologies and when I came acrossbthe jiaoren (Chinese mermaids), it made me look back at Weilan in MM and while I didn’t dislike her and more knowledgeable on the fact they could have done her character not just better in how a pod of mermaids was living on land in China (with a big emphasis on where exactly they were located and how many), but also that even if they kept the golden tail, her powers shouldn't been tied to the lore of a Chinese mermaid.

Like for starters, having her cry pearls as tears. That's a big part of the jiaoren mythos and could have been expanded. Then there's the mermaid silk making (water proof cloth that emphasizes elemental weaving skills - not a bad hobby to have far from home as a trait). And maybe the water dragon being a more water-curated variant of a jialong and if real Chinese dragons exists?!

While I think Cleo didn’t her handled her breaking up with Lewis that good. I can understand why she did.

Season 2 didn’t start out easy for Cleo as we all know. Her parents got divorced, her mom just left and then she gets these new powers. It’s all a bit too much for Cleo at that point.

While Lewis wanting to help Cleo and the girls is really sweet of him, he didn’t really did it the right way. Cleo needed some space and Lewis a bit too clingy for her. Rikki even said it to him that he should loosen the lease a bit.

And maybe Cleo could’ve communicated it better, but she is at point a 16 year old teenage girl. Communicating is really something that easy in the teenage years.

And I’ve said this before, that I can always see both sides with everything. But that Lewis biggest problem is that he wants to fix everything. Sometimes the girls want to vent about their problems, without Lewis trying to fix it, that he can just really be there for moral support.

I made a cool PC wallpaper!

I was trying to find a summery wallpaper for my PC and I came across a few h20 choices, but ultimately landed making my own!

"Every trio has a duo". Say it again.

Literally love how they all are sisters. Honestly I stop watching after s2 imo. Till now I didn't watch s3.

Wdym they remove Emma and add bella?

Ruined Rikki and zane relationship for no reason (literally best enemies to lovers).

Change iconic personalities of cleo and Rikki?

Remove lewis.

Ruined zane character omgg

Doesn't make Rikki and Zane endgame.

Honestly, I just wanna know is s3 was written by a different writers?

S1-2 always 🫠✨.

What do you guys think their powers were?

1: The ability to control the objects mind and manipulate their every move for a 20 secondtimestamp (coercive persuasion). = 🤲

2: The ability to manipulate light (photokinesis) = 🫳

3: The ability to control objects and use to your will (telekinesis). = 🤟

Rikki revealing her secret

This scene kills me because we can clearly see there are people just sitting around the juice net, but somehow they don't see a girl dive into the water fully clothed and not come up at all for air 😂

this show has honestly been life changing

I live in Florida really close to the beach and I've just felt dark and kind of uninspired and angry the last few years of my life. Plus sometimes I secretly feel down about all the stupid stuff I see online about younger people seeing mid 30s as old.

I randomly came across H20 because I saw a joke reel about a guy reenacting a scene from the show and decided to look it up.

I'm still on season 1 but something about the simplicity of this show is giving me mega feel good vibes. Something about mermaids just makes me feel so young on the inside and out. Glowy, playful, fun, happy, free—everything that youth really is no matter the age.

I'm at the part where Cleo comes across a potentially older mermaid at her marine park job (no spoilers, lol, I'm guessing its the Mako Mermaid stuff I've been seeing.) And seeing the older mermaid made me really perk up. IDK if she's still a mermaid (I hope she is??) but seeing an older woman still happy and glowing and being part of it made me so happy.

I've been experimenting with some new inspiration boards for fashion/clothing. Just silly things that feel really fun and summery and kind of getting me out of my darkness. (I've been wearing almost nothing but black and reds the last 6 years LOL and considered myself more of an angry little pissed off beach goth.)

I bought beach waves hair spray that smells good and a new candle scent that made me think of the show. It also inspired me to finally paint my nails this nice sparkly silver color.

I'm just so into it.

Plus...

  • The mash up between frutiger aero and Y2K is perfect
  • We really did have the perfect blend of technology then
  • It's made me pay more attention to the water at the beach - it's SO SPARKLY
  • I already enjoy marine nature a lot as I'm a lady angler - but yesterday I saw a shark jump out of the water while I was wishing and for some reason seeing this stuff just makes me feel hyped up in a different way??

I don't really know where else I'm going with it, I'm just kinda here for the ride.

My thoughts on every Jonathan M. Shiff Productions finales except of course Kelly & without spoiling too much (random pics of some of the finales that I can found without trying to screenshot, mostly H2O, Mako & The Bureau of Magical Things).

Starting off with of course Ocean Girl with 4 Season finales and I think Season 3 is the weakest and not because it's bad or anything like that, I have overall mixed feelings towards it & the other 3 all of which are pretty good from what I can remember.

Thunderstone which has 3 Season finales and Season 1 is probably the weakest, Season 2 ended both nice and pretty dark and the Season 3 finale I think is my fav.

Horace and Tina, Cybergirl, Lightning Point, Scooter: Secret Agent, all 4 of them with their endings are pretty good, though if I had to pick the weakest one oof it's probably Lightning Point again it's not awful, but idk the other 3 ended very nicely, Scooter: Secret Agent is probably 3rd and then the other two are interchangeable.

Wicked Science with 2 season finales, of the two I can't really decide because I'm mostly positive on both.

The Elephant Princess also with 2 Season finales and of these I think I slightly prefer Season 1's end, Season 2's finale was alright.

The Bureau of Magical Things' 2 finales, Season 2 finale is my fav of the two even though I wish the series continued after it, but seeing it's been 5 years since it aired, it's probably never going to happen since the cast has moved on and the Season 1 finale was good too.

Reef Doctors' ending I liked it too because a lot of happened in it in 42 mins with Sam, Jack, Toby and rest at the Hope Island Clinic.

As for H2O & Mako starting off with the former, Season 2's finale is my fav, the other two are good but of course i have some issues like Sophie's rushed redemption which I didn't really buy via the moon pool and graduation.

And then Mako Mermaids' 3 finales is well Season 2's finale is again is my fav with how it was handled, Season 3's finale with just Rikki appearing, the truth revealed with the Water Dragon & dealt with and what's happening with everyone's end part and Season 1 is once again my least fav because Nixie what the heck girl siding with Cam in the prior EPs to now, thank god for Cam's redemption arc in Season 2 and later Season 3 with the Ocean Cafe group especially Carly after she did find out the secret.

How would a spin-off 20 years after the finale go?

Some of my headcanons:

• Cleo and Lewis would both be biologists who had a successful career abroad, but their daughter is going through mermaid-related changes so they moved back home so she could be closer to Mako.

• Rikki stays running Rikki’s café, and “dives” on the side (as seen in Mako Mermaids).

• Zane becomes a finance bro who lives in the city, but will still always have a soft spot for Rikki.

• Emma is married and has a son; although her husband knows her secret, she hasn’t gone near the water in years. Being with the girls again reignites her love of the water.

• Bella and Will broke up shortly after graduation. Bella is a high school music teacher, who tries to write her own music but it always falls flat and she struggles to find inspiration. Being with the girls and being one with the water with them again gives her the inspiration to write beautiful music.

"I Just Wanna Be" could've been more

Alright folks, this might sound weird coming from me, sue me:

Look, I get theme songs for TV shows don't always have to be 3 minutes long or 1 minute...but if I had to be honest, Mako Mermaid's theme song "I Just Wanna Be" is annoyingly catchy on the same table as "No Ordinary Girl" was actually vibe but legit album song where Mako Mermaids had a bridge (chorus? Hook? Need to go back to music class) before hitting the instrumentals before the ending lyrics.

And for years before and after the show ended, I felt Mako Mermaids' theme song could've been a full length song like H2O's and it's not for a like of trying I tried to write filler lyrics. There's a reason when Netflix debuted S2 with "Lightning in a Bottle", I lean towards that more as a trailer song as well as a potential theme song.

What do you think?

My thoughts on every Jonathan M. Shiff Productions first EP except Kelly which you can't even find it's 1st EP anywhere, but only just their first EP from Season 1 & like before just some pics without doing screenshots so this is all I can found via random pics.

Ocean Girl S1 EP 1 - The Girl in the Sea, ah yes our introduction to Neri aka the Ocean Girl, the Bates family (Dianne and her two sons, Brett & Jason), Winston, ORCA and almost everyone from there. As far as first EPs go, it's pretty good & for what's to come later. It's good overall.

Thunderstone S1 EP 1 which doesn't have a EP title is another good start to the series introducing us to Noah Daniels, his family like his sister Becky, his parents Liz & Simon & North Col with a nice end seeing the Nomads lead by Arushka. Honestly solid EP introduction.

Horace and Tina EP 1 - Arrival, man what a trip this was, introduces us to Lauren moving from Canada to Australia living with her mum meeting & living with her stepbrother Max & stepfather Steve, also seeing the animatronics who guess that is & the many side characters at least in this EP anyway.

Cybergirl EP 1, nostalgia biased aside, I really like this EP on showing Cy, Jackson and his father Hugh, Isaac & Xanda and of course the side characters and River City.

Pirate Islands EP 1 - The Game, so much going on, the main cast Kate, Nicholas & Sarah and then Mars, Blackheart & his crew, Carmen and the Castaways, the whole game itself & yeah good EP.

Wicked Science S1 EP 1 - The Gift which again I liked, Toby, Russ, Dina, Elizabeth, Verity, Garth being the main cast & the side characters at least in Season 1 until Season 2 completely changed them for the new ones including Sacha as the main girl after Dina left.

Scooter: Secret Agent EP 1 - Operation: Destiny it has a very goofy & silly introduction to well Scooter and introducing to the main cast like Melanie & her dad Attilo and little brother Mario, Katrina, Gordon Mckenna and his gang like Fridge & Donald, Tiapan & Danny, fun EP.

The Lost Treasure of Fiji EP 1 - Game On which I count as separate to the original Pirate Islands despite how I think of this show as a whole, it's alright with introductions to Tyler, Allison, Kirra, Marty, a different Blackheart, Lilly and the village people to which Sol is the main one they focus on.

The Elephant Princess S1 EP - Coming of Age, I liked the opening first off, introducing Alex & her friends Amanda & JB, Kuru, Vashan, Diva, Omar, Alex's family the mum & dad Anita and Jim, her little sister Zoe, Manjipoor which is the kingdom who Alex used to live there, like Wicked Science some or most of these guys & places sadly don't return in S2.

Lightning Point EP 1 - Wipeout, it's decent for me, once again we got our main cast, Amber, Zoey & Kiki, along with Luca, Brandon, Madison, Amber's mum Olivia Mitchell who is a policewoman and some of the side characters that appear in this first EP.

Reef Doctors EP 1 which like some of them has no EP title, It is actually pretty good. First off main cast introduced, Sam, Olivia, Freya, Gus, Rick, Toby, Nell, Sam's estranged son Jack, Sam's ex husband Andrew, Sonny & Malcolm aka Sam's rival.

The Bureau of Magical Things Season 1 EP 1 - Magical Mishaps, the only one that felt like two part story due to it's ending but I digress, probably one of my fav first EP introductions due many things like the music score, meeting up Kyra, Lily, Imogen, Darra, Ruksy, Kyra's stepdad Steve, her best friends Mathilda & Peter, Professor Maxwell, Doris this dog that Kyra walks with who she can communicate with, appears again in EP 4, Ladder and the Library of Magic & oh yeah River City again.

So what do I think of H2O: Just Add Water S1 EP 1 - Metamorphosis & Mako: Island of Secrets S1 EP 1 - Outcasts, the last ones I have to say about? Well the former is ok, the one thing that sadly holds it back is the acting but I understand why because Phoebe, Claire & Cariba were just starting out on their acting career, while some of the others like Angus, Burgess had at least some acting crops with stuff prior.

While the latter was actually a good introduction EP with almost of all of the main & support cast appear at the time, Sirena, Nixie, Lyla, Zac, Cam, David, Evie and yeah Aquata, Sirena's sister. Carly & Rita as well as Zac's parents don't appear until EP 2 & 3. Yeah unfortunately or fortunately depending who you ask, Lyla, Nixie & much later Sirena, they are not in S2 for the former two and S3 for the latter.

These girls sucked ass and ruined the show.

The reason people shit on mako mermaids bc Lyla and nixie left for other projects giving us two boring ass characters. Ondina has no spunk and Absolutely Zero charisma unlike Lyla and Mimi had Zero Swag or toughness like nixie. Weilan was a ICONIC ASS QUEEN but came in too late for 16 episodes. Also their acting was sooo bad it just ruined the show for me. The most iconic trio on mako mermaids will forever be Lyla , nixie , and Sirena , and to be honesty I feel like Ondina and Mimi were too one noted/one dimensional they had absolutely nothing to show besides being a straight up bitch ( Ondina ) or being too naive and sweet ( Mimi)

Just moved into heavy h20 territory 😂

About a year ago finally moved to the Gold Coast which was a life long dream. Initially was further south which i really enjoyed and funny enough my local beach was Miami/North-Burleigh beach which has those big rocks from the beach cut scene (only recently found out this).

Fast forward to a few months ago and i moved down to biggera waters/ Runaway Bay area and i decided to rewatch the whole series again. Just started season 2 and i was really starting to catch the vibe that alot of the scenes were around my new local area. Did some digging and turns out it is super local to where i am now 😂had literally no idea I’m currently living in the immediate vicinity to alot of scene locations. Juicenet cafe location is like 6 mins down the road, Cleo’s house film location and Emma’s house film location are very close to where I’m at. Runaway bay Marina is just down the road which looks like a-lot of the marina scenes were filmed at.

All this feels super cool as I’ve always loved the show but never really knew much about this northern side of the Gold Coast. I’d barely even heard of areas like Hollywell, Runaway Bay and Biggera waters didn’t really know they even existed, next minute I’m actually living here and in such close proximity to some of the most iconic H20 locations 🌊🧜‍♀️
