Just Eats Courier App won't let me Sign in

Just Eats Courier App won't let me Sign in

I am trying to log in to my friend's Just Eat courier account in my app (with permission, of course). After successfully signing in, it asks for a security code. After I have entered the security code, it simply says "Invalid username or password" (I have attached a pic). When I try to log in to the same account on my laptop, it successfully lets me log in.

Does anyone have any idea how I can log in without this issue?

👉Here are the steps I have taken so far to resolve the issue myself:

Asked my friend (account owner) to sign out from his end

Tried to sign in using another phone, but the same issue

Asked the account owner to change the password

Changed the default browser app on iPhone to Safari and Firefox alternatively

Deleted the app and reinstalled it

👉 My Phone Model: iPhone 14

I would really appreciate any help or any suggestions 🙏

New driver

I’m looking at starting just eat as a secondary job. I work full time and earn £38k per annum but looking for a secondary income to pay off my car.

Can anyone advise if JE would be worth it and what the tax implications could be? Would appreciate to hear from someone who has been in a similar experience.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I just signed up, i have this promotion that says £10 off but when i go to the checkout it doesn’t apply my discount.

The minimum order is over £15, its on an eligible store, i am 100% sure this is not a me problem, i would talk to customer service but there is none.

Anyone know whats up with this or a potential fix?

Why are their online menus overpriced?

The idea you can order online is appealing despite the delivery & service charges. However, why are the items online overpriced in comparison to the in-store prices?

Just seen a naan priced at £1.80 when I know the in-store price is £1.00.

Why?

Restricted items being sent out as normal groceries

I've just had to pick up from a co-op where I got told there was cigarettes in the bag. I have opted out of 18+ deliveries so why is this happening, JE issue or Co-op circumventing things?

Never seen them so low in 6 years. So glad im starting a new job next week.

Order missing food, bank chargeback rejected even with my evidence.

Not sure what to do, my delivery was missing items, JustEat refused to help or refund missing items. I filed a chargeback request via bank with pictures as I was pretty upset about missing items and it has now been rejected.

Is this fair? I don't get how I can not receive items and lose out myself?

Strike

I’ve heard that just eat drivers are planning to strike in my area this evening between the hours of 5pm-9pm due to the low payment rates from just eat. Is this happening anywhere else? I can’t see this making the slightest bit of difference, unless it’s nationwide, and still a few hours is pointless. Needs to be for all day and for a week. Not that it will happen. If it did, just eat will just onboard a load of new drivers and payments will be even worse.

When will they just cancel the order

So I ordered food over 2 hours ago and it’s been saying that the driver was on their way to collect it for most of that time. We’ve given up waiting and ordered from elsewhere, however is this going to be cancelled by just eat eventually or will it magically appear in 3 days time….

50% off codes not working on pre-orders?

Have got a bit addicted to using the 50% off codes and have been placing my orders around lunchtime as a pre-order, with delivery normally set around 7-8pm. Seems like this is no longer working and these 50% off codes are only now valid on deliveries for 'ASAP' or scheduled until 3pm. (If they work at all)

That's ruined my dinner!

Instant cash out on JE?

Haven’t done JE in a while but is it true that you can now get paid instantly on JE… but you’d have to pay a 50p charge?

Havent seen that option on me app but someone said its true ?so just cross checking

Why am I required to add an “extra” to this deal when I don’t want it and it’s not included in the e deal, won’t let me add to cart until I choose one. Ridiculous.

u/monkeyslutking — 9 days ago

Order never came but said it was delivered and getting no refund

I’m so PISSED OFF I haven’t ate all day and it took nearly 2 hours for my delivery to get “delivered” only for the driver to say it got delivered and not even deliver it

He was asking for the code before he was even at the door and I was saying to come to the door and knock on it and he said okay and he never did. Was waiting for him and he didn’t even deliver it and it said he did

I tried to tell just eat and they just said they can’t help me like wtf!! Working all day for this shit to happen I’m never using just eat again, no wonder they always have discounts on, they need to do more checks on their theiving drivers !!!!

The truth about acceptance rate

Acceptance rate isn’t fake, it just doesn’t work the way you think

TL;DR: The percentage you see is a rough indicator, not the actual mechanism. What seems to matter is consecutive declines. Decline a few in a row and the orders dry up until you accept one, no matter what your percentage says.

A lot of people here are convinced acceptance rate does nothing at all. I get why, but I don’t think that’s right. Here’s what I’ve noticed over the last few weeks.

Does it exist?
Yes. But a 20% acceptance rate doesn’t mean you get 20% of the orders you’d otherwise get. That’s the assumption that makes people write it off, you’d expect 2 in 10, it obviously doesn’t work like that, so people conclude the whole thing is made up.

What I’ve actually seen:
When I get a free delivery notification I’ll switch on for a bit just to see if it’s worth going out. It’s been dead where I am for a couple of weeks, so I declined a lot and dropped to 0%.

At 0% I went out on a Friday and a Saturday, proper busy nights, and sat there four hours without a single order. But the moment I accept one, I’ll get 3-4 in quick succession, exactly like normal. Keep accepting and it stays normal. Start declining again and I’m back to nothing for hours.
Same pattern at the start of a shift. If I go online and decline the first two within ten minutes, there have been multiple times where nothing came through for 40+ minutes. Accept one early and the pace is normal from then on.

My theory
It’s not a percentage roll, it’s a streak check:
• Decline ~3 in a row → you go quiet, even with a high percentage
• Accept ~3 in a row → volume comes straight back
The percentage is just a vague summary of whether you’re actually delivering. The streak is what dispatch is reacting to in the moment.

Why this explains people thinking it’s fake,
If you decline 2 and accept 1, over and over, your percentage tanks, but you never string declines together, so you keep getting offers at a normal rate. That’s the guy sitting at 10% telling everyone acceptance rate does nothing. He’s right that his percentage isn’t hurting him. He’s just never triggered the thing that actually does.
Obviously this is my own experience in one area, not hard data. Curious whether anyone else has seen the same pattern, or the opposite.
