How is the clg overall ? (Academic and Campus wise)

Guys, so I got accepted in Dr. Shantilal K Somaiya School of Commerce & Business Studies for their BBA honours program. The fees is 16L for 4 years so is it worth it for a plain bba their as they have specializations in finance, marketing and hr. So considering these specialisation and hefty fees is it worth the placements and everything? Please let me know as they have asked me to pay 1 lakh by 28 may.

Is it worth joining?? The syllabus is also kinda outdated so the only good thing about the college is its reputation so should I consider it??

Please sure accurate placement data for all branches. Most other sites seem to have inflated datas so please share accurate date 🙏

Are the admissions based on a First come first serve basis? I want to take admission in BTech Comp. Engg.

I have JEE main score of 88%ile. According to the website I need to pay full fees.

Fees isn't an issue i need to get admission. Will I get in or would i be waitlisted until better candidates get admission?

I got shortlisted for the MBA Core Program at KJ Somaiya. If this post comes across any senior, currently studying or recent batch, I would love to connect as I have several questions to ask. I am putting the same down below. Please feel free to impart some knowledge onto me.

1. As someone from a non-commerce background, what are the things I should learn before starting my MBA journey, and what sources are the best for it?
2. Which institutes does KJ compete against in case comps? Is there active participation from the college? And what should I do to participate in the same?
3. One of my major concerns is regarding hostel timings and the campus culture. I was previously studying at an NIT, so we hardly had any strict rules related to roaming on campus and dress code. I am used to little to no bickering regarding the same. Since Somaiya Vidya Vihar is a private institute, I am a little worried about this. Please let me know about it, especially the girls.
4. Secondly, about the sports and extra-curricular activities at KJ Somaiya. What are the sports activities students participate in? I used to represent my school in football and athletics, and I am looking forward to continuing in those sports during my post-graduation years. Will I be able to manage playing sports along with managing the curriculum?
5. Last but the most important one, how are the placements? And what does the top percentile at KJ do to bag a good offer at the end of the course?

I received mail about hostel preferences for MBA. Which should I take, Sandipni or Sion? I have already chosen the 1st preference as sandipni 2 sharing a hostel.

On may 15th they said monday and today has almost come to an end. Genuinely frustrating guys why there are so many delays in releasing the merit. If anyone has any update on the same please lmk thanks
