WHAT THE ABOUT HELL IS THIS !!!???

so i phase 4 student and have already paid the full 75k provisional admission fee... got the money receipt also

KIIT told me i can report by 25th august at Koel campus, But offical email has been sent to me, it's just a reply of my query

now the issue is im taking an education loan from Indian Bank and the bank told me the process can take around 20 days, so i emailed KIIT asking for around 20 days extra time for the remaining fees

they replied “noted.” and when i asked whether my admission/seat will remain valid during the loan process they again just said “your request is noted”...

so what does this actually mean???

has anyone here gone through the same thing with KIIT and education loan? does “request is noted” mean they will allow the extension or are they just acknowledging the email?

also do i need to worry about my seat getting cancelled if the loan takes time?

Lost wallet between V-Mart KIIT Square and Campus 17 Gate

Hey, I think I lost my wallet yesterday evening while returning from V-Mart at KIIT Square to KIIT Campus.

I left around 5:30 PM and reached campus around 6:50–7:00 PM. I had the wallet when I left V-Mart, but I noticed it was missing later. I feel like it may have fallen somewhere while I was travelling in an auto.

It contains some cash and important ID cards.

If anyone found a wallet along this route around that time, please DM me with a description of the wallet so I can confirm if it's mine.

Would really appreciate any help.

Subject: Distribution of Laptops to Newly Admitted Students

This is to inform all newly admitted students that the ICT Cell will be conducting the official laptop distribution drive as per the details outlined below:

\* Date: Friday, 14th August 2026

\* Time: 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM

\* Venue: Central Library, KIIT Campus

Mandatory Requirements:

Students are strictly instructed to bring the following documents for verification and issuance:

\* Original KIIT Student Identity Card (or temporary ID pass).

\* Admission Fee Receipt / Enrollment Slip (hard copy or digital copy).

\* A valid government-issued photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID).

Guidelines for Collection:

\* In-Person Presence: Laptops will only be issued directly to the respective student. Collection on behalf of another student is strictly prohibited.

\* Queue Management: To avoid overcrowding, students are advised to arrive systematically throughout the designated time window (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

\* Inspection: Students must check the physical condition and verify the contents of the laptop box before leaving the distribution counter.

For any queries or urgent technical assistance prior to the event, please contact the ICT Cell Helpdesk at ictsupport@kiit.ac.in or visit the ICT Building during working hours.

Help regarding youtube resources for ecld, lafa, md and chem

Hey, btech cse fresher here, currently in KIIT

We have subjects like electronic circuits and logic design (ECLD), Linear algebra and Fourier analysis (LAFA), Enginnering Chemistry and molecular diagnostics (MD) as elective. It will really be helpful if someone can suggest YouTube study sources like channel, teachers etc..

TCS NQT PRIME [ACCPECTED] Experience:

First Round:

- Aptitude section : It was average, the numerical ability section was very difficult, none of my friends were able to do more than 2-3 questions and rest we guessed from the options. Rest sections were easy and very doable.

- Coding section : My shift was the hardest (the first shift of the first day), we were given 2 questions:

  • Kth Largest element in the binary search tree Link
  • First Missing Positive Link

I solved both of them, and you had to write the entire code not just the function.

Interview:

TR + MR: Was asked to introduce myself and then was immediately given a question to code,

questions were:

  • print the longest substring without repeating characters : Got a bit confused in the beginning and returned just the length of the longest substring but then modified the approach and got to the correct answer.
  • print the frequency of every vowel in a sentence : Did this instantly using HashMaps.

I was also explaining the code as I was writing it and was asked to dry run the code as well.

Then one interviewer went away (the one who was giving me the DSA questions) and the second one continued the interview, he showed me 3 tables made on the paper and asked me to write SQL queries for the questions he asked:

  • Print all employees whose name starts with 'A'
  • Print last 3 records
  • Print employees who joined between a date range
  • Print employees who are working in an array of departments
  • Print the employee who has the second largest salary

2-3 more questions were asked which I don't remember, I answered them all.

Then he asked if I know about AI and python, I said yes I am working on it and learning stuff. Then he started asking HR like questions:

  • Would you be open for relocation
  • Would you work long hours and on weekends
  • Thoughts about night shift

I answered everything diplomatically.
