Potential Protected Bike Lane in Prairie Village

Hi everyone,

I am a current Prairie Village resident and I was wondering what people would think of a potential protected bike lane on Mission Road from 63rd street to either 75th street or 79th. I believe that if they were to convert this road from a 4 lane road to a 3 lane road with the central lane being a turn lane, we could create a protected 2 way bike path that would encourage the surrounding community to bike more. With the proximity of so many schools to mission road, I believe that parents and school children would bike to the shops at prairie village and school. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and suggestions about potentially approaching this.

Hit and run

Involved in a car accident today. I’m ok but this guy rear ended a 60 year old man who ended up being taken away in an ambulance. The driver of the BMW is at fault and ran off on foot. If you know who he is, contact the police. Attached photos of the car he was driving.
