At gce kannur they are saying it's mandatory and it's they are taking attendance forenoon and afternoon . Is this TRUE?? Or just gimmick to make us attend orientation??

Bro i joined fisat engineering clg nd the girl's hostel is strict as hell mahnn... it's bloody unfair too, the curfew is 6pm for girls but they dont allow first year girls outside the hostel even if it's Saturday or Sunday. Nd working days the first year girl's are instructed to enter the hostel by 4pm..for boys there r no restrictions as strict as this..its fucked up mahnn

I'm looking to do mbbs at kerala what's the scene there which colleges should i emphasise on and have better chances to get and any seniors studying there from north please tell the challenges you guys face there... Please help me out on that

It's just been 2 days at hostel , no proper class at college yet.

The main problem isn't that I don't know people, because I've already introduced myself to a lot of people and talked to many of them. The problem is that almost everyone already seems to have their own person/group from school, roommates, repeaters, etc., so whenever they go for tea, food, movies or just roam around, they naturally call those people and I don't have anyone I can casually call yet.

For eg my roommate, he has a group of his already known friend and some new batch mates , like they seem to get along really good like they been thick friends for long . And i feel like I am following them , like I am not talking about anything to the group and all. And i don't like those people in the group. But when I look at rest people they already seems to have group with their roommates or so.

I sometimes join these groups, and sometimes people are nice, but again I'm just joining an already established group and don't really belong. Even when I'm alone in my room, knowing everyone else is outside in groups makes me feel really bad, and going out alone feels even worse. I know it's only been a couple of days and things can change, but right now I don't know how to stop this feeling and just be okay with being here.

Like I can't see anyone I can get along with that in future cuz they already seems to be with someone else
