[Fan OC] Guy Reyes “El intocable”

My Oc Guy Reyes.
Guy is a wandering martial artist, with a base in an ancient Incan warrior martial art passed down through his family for generations called “Awqaqpa ruraynin.”
Although** this **style is his birthright, after a traumatic family incident, he chose to leave it, and his family behind, and follow his own way, in search of developing his own style, one dedicated to martial arts defense mastery. He has called this style “The way of the floating leaf.” And art dedicated to being untouchable.

Catalan CC is on the way, I swear.

That Catalan translation I was talking about time ago, it exists. I'll post R1 when it's completely done on mangadex. I'm about halfway through R1. Slow, but steady, I will eventually translate every chapter for all the Catalan speaking readers, even if I'm the only one, or even if no one asked for it.

CC Women's Edition Fighter Profiles (Finalists)

Starchild:

Age: 26

Ethnicity: Mixed (Asian/Caucasian)

Origin: California, United States

Former Occupation: Yoga instructor

Crime: Indecent exposure

Type: Powerhouse/Masterful

History: Starchild was born to a wealthy family and as she grew up gained an interest in spirituality and new-age mysticism. This culminated in her, upon reaching the age of 18, going on a pilgrimage throughout Asia in search of spiritual enlightenment. However, unlike the typical shallow tourist, these travels revealed that Starchild had an inherent incredible talent for martial arts. She rapidly grew in strength and skill until she met a certain monk in Vietnam. This monk took interest in her, because she displayed incredible talent despite not matching his profile of what a strong warrior was in almost every single way. Perhaps this would've lead him to dismiss her, if it were not for the two other men that redefined his search for strength. After completing her training, Starchild returned to the United States. Although now one of the greatest female martial artists in the continent, she didn't take up the life of a martial artist, viewing it solely as a method to fitness and spiritual growth and having no interest in actually testing her skills or earning fame and fortune. Unfortunately, she was arrested after a misunderstanding about the legality of performing naked yoga in the park.

Fighting Style: Starchild's primary fighting style is Tai Chi based, with certain Shaolin Kung Fu and Yogic techniques incorporated into it. Although she has incredible strength and conditioning, she is an intelligent and agile fighter who prefers dodging attacks. Her strongest techniques are derived from Tam Quy Khi Khong, but she barely uses them, simply because she doesn't see the point in defeating the opponent with anything but the minimum force necessary.

Perhaps Starchild's most impressive talent, however, is her mentality. She shows an eerie calmness no matter what the opponent, treating the most easy foe and most dangerous threats with equal mild amusement. This is to the point where she can casually shrug off extreme pain and injury. This combined with her natural fighting genius makes her an incredibly analytical fighter who does not let fear or excitement interfere with her tactics.

Performance: Starchild's first bout was against the Whore of Babylon. Although the Whore of Babylon was a highly skilled opponent and in many ways did better than her next two opponents, her use of torturous pressure point techniques was the wrong call, as Starchild casually ignored the pain to finish off her opponent. Her next matchup was against Ghoulette, the psychotic cannibal's fear tactics proving utterly useless resulting in a quick squash match. The Brain Remover fared little better, her gimmick being far too predictable for Starchild, who could easily plan around the fact her opponent would always try to finish her off with a knockout blow to the head. The Bride of Frankenstein, although perhaps the physically strongest fighter in the tournament, was also quickly set on the back foot, forcing her to use hidden combat drugs. Although this temporarily evened the playing field, with the Bride of Frankenstein even permanently scarring Starchild's face with her claws, Starchild was able to exploit the fact the Bride of Frankenstein didn't feel pain while drugged, using her Fa Jin attacks to penetrate through her defences without the Bride even realizing she was taking damage.

Red Hand:

Age: 32

Ethnicity: Singaporean Malay

Origin: Singapore

Former Occupation: CEO

Crime: Embezzlement, Insider Trading,

Type: Powerhouse/Masterful/Freak

History: Red Hand was always a woman obsessed with amassing power. Born into a poor family, she climbed the corporate ladder using any ruthless business tactic imaginable. Yet this was not enough for her; she needed physical as well as financial and social power. She used her wealth to hire the most skilled martial artists in the world to train her. When eventually her numerous white collar crimes got her arrested, she casually asked to participate in the Colosseum, viewing her victory in it as inevitable and proof that she has reached a state where she has become so powerful she is above any laws that could confine her.

Fighting Style: Red Hand's techniques are derived from numerous martial arts, but they all utilize the incredibly powerful hands she was naturally born with. Her primary specialty are slaps and palm strikes; Red Hand also can use kicks, although she only does so when desperate. One thing that Red Hand absolutely refuses to do is hit her opponent with a closed fist; she views punches as something primitive and unrefined, which only inferior martial artists use. Here are some of her more notable techniques:

*Whip Strikes: Red Hand dislocates her own arms to allow her to slap her opponents with increased range and speed. The effects of her slaps can essentially flay off an opponent's skin. Red Hand can also do a similar technique with her legs if need be.

*Thunderclap: Red Hand claps her palms together faster than the speed of sound; this creates an overwhelming noise similar to the sound of a grenade going off, which she uses to deafen and disorientate her opponent.

*Degloving Grip: Red Hand's grip strength is such that simply by grabbing her opponent and pulling she can easily tear off large chunks of skin.

*Perfect Shredder: Red Hand's ultimate technique. A rotating palm strike similar to the Rashakha's Palm of the Koei school, Red Hand's mutated hand strength makes it even more lethal, capable of violently tearing an opponent to pieces.

Performance: Red Hand was first matched up against Pussy Control, and effortlessly obliterated her; Pussy's attempts to block Red Hand's strikes simply left her arms a bloody and shredded mess. Her next opponent was the West African Valkyrie, who attempted to counter Red Hand's powers by grappling her at close quarters and refusing to allow her the opportunity to wind back her strikes for power; unfortunately, Red Hand utilized her degloving grip to put an end to the Valkyrie's notions. Feeling confident in her invincibility, Red Hand faced her first actual struggle against the Shapeshifter, who adopted her persona and was not only able to copy her techniques (albeit inferior versions due to lacking her mutant biology), but able to predict her every move. Red Hand was forced to utilize her legs for the first time against this foe, which allowed her to take the Shapeshifter by surprise and finish her off. Her semifinals match was against Overdrive, who was able to reliably dodge her fastest attacks and became the first opponent to seriously injure Red Hand. However, Overdrive couldn't dodge forever and once Red Hand caught her, it was over.

FINALS:

Her belief in her own invincibility shattered by the fight with Overdrive, Red Hand for the first time considered the possibility she might genuinely lose the tournament. Knowing this, she resolved to not hold back for a single moment during the finals, even if it meant killing her opponent. Initially, this newfound bloodlust was able to push things into Red Hand's favor, until Starchild finally used Elixir for the first time. All seemed lost for Red Hand, until she was able to land her Perfect Shredder; although it was not a direct hit, which would've instantly killed her opponent, it did successfully manage to rip off Starchild's arm. The fight was still uncertain; Red Hand was also incredibly injured and the fact that Starchild was still confident she could win even with a missing arm damaged her morale considerably. In the end though, Starchild's blood loss was so great that she could no longer maintain Elixir (which as a breathing technique, is dependent on the blood's ability to supply oxygen to the body), leading to her forfeit.

After the Colosseum: Red Hand was unsatisfied with her victory. For someone who considered herself invincible, it was too narrow for her to feel secure in that assessment. In addition, she had a niggling paranoia that Starchild surrendered out of pity, knowing that Red Hand would take the loss far more seriously than she had. Even though Starchild denied this, Red Hand dismissed her protestations, believing that if Starchild did throw the final fight she would never tell her. Red Hand wondered if her belief that absolute strength could make her answer to no one was nothing but an impossible daydream. She chose to retire to a secluded tax haven, rethinking her life's philosophy.

Starchild served her sentence and was released. She moved to Europe, living alongside the Bride of Frankenstein (the two of them forming a close bond during their Holdings), although she regularly travels overseas for various spiritual quests and to increase her knowledge of martial arts.

Kengan Olympus Chapter 63 - Evolution

Link to Chapter 63

Chapter written by u/Interesting_Emu999 and HeadHorror4349

Cover art by HeadHorror4349

Sorry about variable cover quality, some of this is quite old and I've not had a lot of time lately to go back over it and fix. Expect a generally higher level from hereon though.

Also, sorry about the 6 month wait, someone (and I'm not naming names, but it wasn't me) had writer's block and couldn't get any of this fight written.

I just realized how insane this feat from GiaB is

Like those arena walls are about 20-30 feet tall and from the middle of the arena using just his arm strength GiaB launched himself to the top of it, that's absolutely insane

Question About El Cucaracho's Loss of sleep.

Sometime in the last eight years, he lost the ability to fall asleep, which would likely fall within the period he was still in La Jungla Rosa. There's a statement that he had been 'living this way' already without even acknowledging it. So then why did it take so long for him to develop his suicidal ideation? Was it largely the loss of hope of enjoying life once he escaped, since La Jungla Rosa was do dangerous it didn't give him time to even acknowledge how he was feeling?

Sorry for so many EC questions. But I'm starting to work on the draft for my EC story. And he is one of the most complex characters in terms of describing how he works and his experiences. I'd gladly switch to PMs if anyone was interested XP

Also...did anyone else notice posting images has become a lot more annoying? You legit need to upload files now. So...no pictures, but it's all in Chapter 82.5 in any case.
