I’m 21 and I really want to go trick-or-treating this Halloween 😭I didn’t grow up in the US, so it was never something I got to experience as a kid, and I’ve always wanted to do it at least once

I know trick-or-treating is mostly for kids, so I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable or take away from them. Are there any neighborhoods/areas where people wouldn’t mind adults trick-or-treating too? Or any Halloween events that have actual trick-or-treating for adults?

Also, if any other adults have gone trick-or-treating, did people care? I’m fully willing to put effort into the costume lol.

Been to a few lakes, but wondering if anyone had any go to areas for decent fish. Don't care what species honestly.

I'm new to the area and my kids want to go trick or treating this year. Which neighborhoods, especially west of 167, are best for trick or treating?

Just checking out flock In the Kent area. East hill doesn't have that many, compared to down the hill.

One area tho caught my eye. Home Depot parking lot.

Today in Kent, at the Quick Quack Carwash on Kent-Kangley, I was driving into the parking lot with my kids and several people were pulling out of their spaces at once, including you. You were in a silver sedan, which I think may have been a Honda Accord (I can't remember the specific brand because I was so angry), and you almost backed into my car. You will know who I was... I started honking at you, you stopped, and then you continued backing up without even looking in my direction. Luckily you didn't hit us, but it made me angry because after that, you pulled forward and blocked another car, and us as well, from getting through the parking lot. But, here's where it went wrong, and I'm really REALLY sorry for it:

The other person you were blocking tried indicating to you that she couldn't move, and since we were blocked by you, I started laying on the horn again, and again, and again. I was making a scene, and I didn't care. I also rolled down my window and started yelling at you to move. I should not have done that. Especially with my kids in the car. I understand what you were trying to do, and you were likely frustrated because of my incessant honking at you, so you stopped, got out of your car, and began yelling at me. Unfortunately, the obscenities didn't help your case, but I get it. I really do. I don't get you saying "I don't give a (swear word) about your kids, when I told you to stop with the language because I have kids in the car, but I get it. Honestly, I REALLY DO. You were angry, AND RIGHTFULLY SO!

I'm not blaming you. I'm not mad at you, now that I had a chance to reflect and realize where I went wrong. I lost my patience. I set an INCREDIBLY bad example for my children. I added to the general anger of society... and, I'm sorry. I honestly, really am!

You did not deserve what I did. You did not deserve to be on that end of my frustration. I'm sure you panicked because you had some ***hole honking at you like he was trying to wake up half of Kent from a deep sleep.

You said you weren't going to hit us... I panicked, to be honest. This is no excuse, either. My car was rear-ended two years ago and completely rebuilt from the back passenger doors back. We had it for three weeks before that happened. It was brand new and had 110 miles on it. It spent 9 months in the shop being repaired. If it's hit again, it will be totalled. It's the only time I've had anything that is mine and so nice, and it's been damaged everywhere thanks to that, my kids, and just things hitting it on the road, in general.

I panicked. I got mad. I'm sorry! I truly am!!!

I’m an adult learner with a solid piano background and I’m looking for a guitar teacher. I want to work with someone who has structured lessons and an even temperament.

I’ve tried private lessons with two other people. One was excellent but way ahead of my beginner status and struggled to bring things down to the basics, and the other one has turned out to be emotionally volatile person who hid it well for the first for the month of lessons.

I know I know. "If you dont want a sugary drink then order a black coffee". But i want actual GOOD quality drip coffee and espresso. Does anyone know such a place in Kent? When I go to a place that's highly rated on Google Maps, the high ratings seem to come from their blended sugary frappe drinks that are basically diabetes in a cup. Or gross nasty energy drinks that seem to be the trend these days. I go to these places and order a drip coffee or latte and it's watered-down garbage. Where is your go-to spot for REAL coffee in Kent?

Hello, I’m making a post here to hopefully recruit people for volleyball! I want to play volleyball at Springwood park here in Kent but have no luck with players.
