Introducing GovtExamsKerala - A Community For Kerala Government Exam Aspirants

Hi everyone!

We recently created r/GovtExamsKerala, (https://www.reddit.com/r/GovtExamsKerala/) a community for students in Kerala preparing for Kerala PSC, SSC, Banking, Railways, UPSC, and other competitive exams.

The goal is to build a place where aspirants can share notifications, study resources, preparation tips, and doubts, and help each other out.

The subreddit is still new, but we're already gaining members and have started seeing useful discussions and resource sharing.

We're also planning to host AMA sessions in future with people who have successfully cleared these exams and are currently working in state or central government jobs.

If you're preparing for any government exam, feel free to join. And if you know someone who might find it useful, please share it with them.

Xylem/Eduport/Examwinner? (JEE-CLASS 11)

I'm planning to take online coaching for JEE because going for offline tuition is difficult for me..
I feel like I've already wasted my time in Class 11 bcz I didn't sign up to any coaching...

Which one of these coaching centres are better?
I know each of them has it's own pro's and con's but I'd still like to know..

I've seen and felt that Eduport app has more features and they're more balanced ??
Heard that examwinner only does classes on JEE during weekends and that they are not consistent with it..!!
And so manyyyy reviews that Xylem classes are not worth it!!

hair dye….

i live outside of kerala and was thinking of getting my hair dyed.
i was wondering if i should do it here, where it would be $165 (around 8250 rupees) or do it in kerala at a salon. i wanna do brown balayage highlights on my black hair.
opinions on where is more cheaper and quality wise, better?

Which controller should I go for ? evofox play 2 or cosmic byte blitz ?

Not a big gamer, so not going for the official Xbox or Ps controllers !

I really liked the looks of the PS5 controller styled evofox play 2, and I'm planning to use it with my PC for light games. And with PC, iPad and Android TV for cloud gaming. Anyone here have experience with these controllers ? And have any suggestions ? I would also like to know if the gyroscope, haptics and speakers on the controller works with cloud gaming, mainly the Jio cloud gaming and Xbox cloud gaming. Also I'm more inclined to the evofox play 2 since it has that trackpad, which could come in handy for controlling the android TV launcher.

Sister doomscrolling

Hey everyone,hope yall are doing fine!

My sister (currently studying in 11th) is on phone whenever she could my parents aren’t strict but they often try to talk about this to her and she ignores it ,she often watches YouTube shorts whenever there’s a gap and she has her own phone for studying and mind you she often doesn’t watches any sort of classes (online Tution) even if she does watch those classes it’s often till a hour or so,she won’t workout with questions nor try to understand the concept and right after the one hour lecture she goes to a comfortable spot and doom scrolls till dinner and after having dinner she repeats the same shi, I have told her 1000 times that this is gonna be really bad for you in the future the usual stuff yk but in a calm way

She got 6 Aplus in 10th grade (not complaining)and she only studied during those last week or sum. Am scared thinking about the fact that she’s most likely gonna do the same for 11th grade (commerce) which is obviously not gonna workout

Her attention span and quick thinking is at an all time low,she can’t even calculate a two digit number (addition or subtraction) which itself sums up ig
I lowkey feel really bad about it like I could have stopped it early and she wouldn’t have been like this at all and at the moment the way things are going idk what would happen to her cause it’s that bad,i genuinely don’t know what to do and I would like to hear yalls opinion on it

How do we get over a friendship breakup

It was my bestfriend. And I can't stop cryin

I passed 10th in 2025. Dropped out 11th due to heath issues nd other reasons . Decided to repeat a year . I went to this school where my bestfriend studies.

Well she had this distance with me which I don't know why . I've noticed her drifting apart even before goin to her school.

Now I'm alone at school. Everyone already has friends. I eat alone , walk alone , sit alone , stand alone . All lone .

I've never been this alone in school before. Can't cope with the change. I watch her laugh with her new friends while im lonely and miserable .

So I think I should let her live her life . Her choice . I respect that . But that doesn't mean I can pretend I'm ok . It really hurt me .

Nd now I'm home crying.
