I'm looking to buy a new car. This will be my first. The car will be used for everything, from the office daily driver in bangalore traffic to the long drives. Now personally I liked Sonet more, but my only concern is the DCT gearbox in crawling traffic and the longevity of the gearbox as I need to keep this car for 10 years or more.

On the Mahindra side, I am concerned for the after sales service, else the TC is more traffic friendly as I have read.

Anyone with DCT gearbox which has long term review in bangalore traffic and how reliable they are?

Please note that my options are limited to these two only given they tick all my other requirements.

Hi Folks, Bought the car last month and just took it out of first service last week. I'm a new city driver in chennai. Have driven only 640 km until now. Mileage currently sits at 10 kmpl. I see people posting around 18kmpl for city rides. I Understand there would be slight improvements once I master city ride. But want to understand does it improve after few 1000 kms or should I opt for Shell petrol or is it purely based on driving skill. First car and new driver and , hence the very basic question. Any insight is highly appreciated. Thanks

Hey guys, I own a 2022 Kia Sonet Turbo DCT. We recently purchased it as a second-hand car, and I’m getting mileage of 6.5–8 km/l in normal city traffic, even with a light foot.

Is this normal for this car considering it has a turbo engine and a DCT automatic transmission, or could there be something wrong with the car? For example, could it be due to old engine oil or something else that needs to be checked?

I also have a 2019 Baleno, which gives me around 10–11 km/l under similar conditions, so the difference seems quite significant.

Also what mileage does your Kia soney gives ?

I am facing ghost touch issue in my kia sonet,
Service centre said 3 year warranty period has ended and they are asking 15000 rupess for replacement

Can anyone suggest what shall I do? Shall I go for aftermarket one?

I want to upgrade the infotainment system of my 2021 Sonet HTX variant. I was thinking maybe install the GTX variant infotainment system. Do anyone have any idea how much they cost? Used or brand new? And I saw a couple of reels and shorts where we can caliberate 360° camera to that screen? Is this true? And if I had to go with after market screen, which one should I go with? And if there are no wire cuttings, does it still void my warranty?
