I know Kingman is still growing but I was wondering if there was a public community garden for other adults to go to and have a hobby and a life outside the house lol.
I've lived in Kingman for a long time and the only ones I know about are people who have close friends at their homes.

Spoke to a septic company who quoted me $1000 to dig and bury a motor home on my property. The hole was going to be around 40x10 and I cannot remember the depth.
We couldn’t line up schedules and now they are scheduled pretty far out.

We have been going to one of the vets offices here in town. I won't mention names as they have been wonderful aside from being consistently late getting us in and out.
Show up for appt right on time then waiting 30 minutes to be taken back, then another 15 minutes in the room waiting for the vet. Even longer to get checked out. I understand emergencies come up and sometimes other animals require more care but it is every single visit.
Which vet do you use thats more consistent? What other reasons do you like going there?

The Walgreens at Andy Devine and Stockton Hill no longer has an operational pharmacy. I've been going there since it opened, but service has really deteriorated the last few years. Now, if you try to order a refill online, it tells you to choose another location. If you NEED your prescriptions, you probably should move them to another pharmacy ASAP. It says the closure it temporary, but with the trouble that store has had keeping pharmacists, who knows....

I was a "difficult people" for a long time. I am learning to have patience, Lord knows I have received a lot of patience through the years. I have been praying for Him to guide me in His will. I have found that His will shows kindness and forgiveness. This is totally new to me. I still need to make my list of the people I need to make amends to. Then I need to make those amends. It's been seriously eating away at me.
Genuinely curious tho there are some restrictions in Kingman the idea is not impossible!
I feel it would be good to encourage stores and stuff to open up in the middle of neighborhoods (that limit spaces for cars so it's not always so crowded)
I hate living in the parts of Kingman where I'm miles away from the stores. I just want to walk to a local shop and just buy and go. Not take the bus, take a taxi or have a car. Traveling is exhausting for me.
I don't want to drive 5 miles across town to get a damn soda or milk and I certainly cannot afford to live closer with how pricing on rentals are rising.
A little neighborhood luxury would be nice.

I still have issues being "responsible" for me. It's so much easier to let someone else do the decision making, but it doesn't give me that same feeling of accomplishment. With my lingering insecurities, every accomplishment is needed to keep my forward momentum. I want my cookie! 441 days seems like a a long time. After spending 40 years drunk and high, I need to re-learn how to think and act. It takes time. Just for today I will stay clean and sober and I will do something productive.

I refuse to watch the news. If they would only turn the focus to all the great things people are doing, I would be more interested. In my recovery I have learned the importance of putting my worries and fears into the hands of my Higher Power. Between prayer, and mindfulness techniques, there is no reason to hold on to negative thoughts or emotions. People around me have noticed my peaceful demeanor.
