Are yard sales still a thing?

I haven’t done a yard sale in a LONG time. Are they still a thing? I have so much stuff to get rid of and it’s random. Funkos, shoes, purses, Pyrex, and vintage kitchenware and depression glass. Is there even an interest in that stuff in this area? Has anyone had a yard sale lately? What were your experiences?
Where do I post it? I was thinking Craigslist and Facebook and put up a road sign. I appreciate any help and tips!! Thanks a bunch.

Kissimmee Gateway Airport expansion: anyone else worried about home values?

Airport’s expanding to handle bigger commercial/charter jets (new Customs facility, international flights incoming). Historically these expansions have dropped nearby home values 5-20% due to noise.

Anyone in Orange Gardens, Downtown East, or other neighborhoods near KISM hearing about this? Curious how worried we should be and if anyone’s already looking into it.

Lost Item

A friend left an item at a hotel in the area while traveling for work is hoping to hire someone who can retrieve it from the hotel and ship it. Is there a local task service that could do this? TYIA.

Kissimmee ballot

Aug 18. Two charter amendments to know about.

Question 1: extends term limits from two 4-year terms to three. That’s 12 years straight for the same person. Eight years is enough time to finish what you started. If it’s not, prep the next person and hand it off. Don’t just extend the seat.

Question 2: requires background checks for candidates. Sounds fine on paper. But the city already said it can’t actually disqualify anyone based on the results. So what’s the point besides spending money on checks that don’t change anything? Feels like a money grab dressed up as accountability.

Jobs in poinciana?

Okay so is ANYONE ABLE TO FIND A JOB IN POINCIANA!!!! I’m always in the same predicament where I have to sadly move back here, trying my absolute BEST trying to get out of this city and I can never find a job here. I get rejected by everyone and there is barely anywhere to apply. IM SO SICK OF THIS CITY IS SUCKS!!

I just got rejected from a job, I also want to know if it’s just me. Because every job I apply to, always sends the “ we have decided to proceed with other candidates” email. I have seen this email every time I apply for a job. I’ve also been going out in person and asking, no luck. I have years of experience, in retail and fast food. I also have customers service experience etc… I need to know if it me, maybe I need to make a new resume?
