Putting together a "gourmet cooking & gadgets" basket for a nonprofit fundraiser auction - suggestions?

So far I've got:

- herb stripper bowl

- really nice microplane

- that fancy spatula from TikTok

- berry washer whirlpool bowl

- pickle fork

- avocado slicer

- produce saver carbon apple

- cheese paper

- round ice cube trays

- brown sugar saver

- really nice, pretty chip clips

It's supposed to be a pretty expensive basket. Any suggestions to add?? I want to pick things that most people would choose, so not TOO specialized. But special.

Thoughts?

AI is officially coming for the kitchen. Cosori just teased an "AI Chef" grill that cooks with light. Genius or total gimmick?

I have just seen the new prototype (to be used at CES in 2026), and my mind cannot make up what I think about it!

The advertisement says it is an indoor grill and oven that uses 360 degrees of infrared light instead of fire to cause the Maillard reaction (allowing grilling without preheating and with no smoke). It will also be equipped with a built-in AI chef. Once you have opened the lid to your cooking device, you will drop your food into the device, and will be scanned by an internal camera. The camera will identify the item dropped inside of the appliance, weigh the food, determine the thickness/density of the food, and program the recipe for cooking (including cooking time for each direction, and resting time) automatically. It's uses “smokeless indoor smoking” by using another tray that will use actual wood chips to allow for the flavor to flow into the food without filling your home with smoke from grilling.

As someone who would love to grill some steak without having to clean it afterwards, this thing sounds amazing. However, the cooking purist in me is screaming, and I'm not sure what side I should be taking.

Let me know what you all think about whether an AI chef is a natural progression of the kitchen (like the air fryer), or whether this is just one of the thousands of shoveled garbage can products that will eventually turn into a junk pile at a garage sale. Would you be able to trust an AI chef to prepare your next meal?
