r/Kitsune

I've done a bit of research, but I'm terrible at it and end up with bad information and/or conflicting information I don't know how to sort.

I've been curious to learn about Kitsune for a long time. The problem is that I don't know what stories to look at for sources on Kitsune, nor do I know anyone who is even remotely interested in them and no shrines to ask.

So I was wanting to know of a few stories that can be easily found that could be good educators on the ways of the Fox Spirits. I also was curious to have a more coherent list of abilities that they have, and what exactly Kitsune are, beyond simply "Magical Foxes who can either be Wild Tricksters(not nessecarily Evil[?])/Yako or Divine Servants(Zenko)".
