DIY Konica Hexanon 38mm f2.8 / C35 Ef / Warhol Lens with A7 m1

After i got my A7 m1 a few months back (and falling in love with photography again) I started trying vintage lenses. I like macro and some environment shots. Most of the lenses are bulky for the wonderful slim form of A7 with the adapters. So started testing some smaller options from this list. https://antineutrino.net/2016/04/15/smallest-lenses-sony-a7

Within my budget i got a Konica 40mm f1.8 and loved the quality of pictures. But still a bit bulky to be pocketable.

Then i noticed the rangefinder cameras: a Konica C35 Ef to be precise. Which i learned was Warhol's camera of choice for his iconic images.

The Konica C35 lens was pretty easy to disassemble (which you can see in the images attached) I designed a 3D printed helical focusing lens for it. Not perfect but does the job.

The focus throw in C35 is incredibly short (a mm or 2) And the edge sharpness is not perfect. Not sure if it is the same with film. But in the end, the form factor and images i take with it was pretty nice for my taste.

I wanted to use the lens for macro/close up shots so designed the focus throw helical longer with that in mind you can see some examples too.

The photos are jpegs out of the camera. I don't like touching up raws. I like the randomness i get this way a bit more.

Hope you guys like it too and feel free to let me know what you think of my little experiment. It is definitely a keeper for me and maybe general use for my works.

You can download the housing from this link to print a version for yourself. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2808790-diy-lens-for-konica-c35-ef-e-mount-warhol-lens#profileId-3125961

Vintage Konica lcd watch help

So I'm an amateur watch maker and recently received a lot of old watches and I found this Konica beauty inside. Anyone know or have any information on it? Seems pretty rare wondering what the value might be. Thanks. Currently repairing some corroded solder joints and gonna get some batteries to see if I can bring her back to life!
