If you visit Pohang, you MUST try this insane skywalk: Space Walk (스페이스워크)

Hey everyone! If you’re planning a trip to Pohang, there is one place you absolutely cannot miss: Space Walk (스페이스워크) in Hwanho Park.

It’s a massive, rollercoaster-like walking structure that offers a stunning panoramic view of both the ocean and the city. And the best part? It’s completely free!

💡 Crucial tips for your visit:

Best time to go: It closes at 8:00 PM, so I highly recommend going around 7:00 PM. The night view with all the lights turned on is beyond breathtaking!

Left vs. Right Path: When you reach the entrance, the path splits into two sides:

Left (Steep & Thrilling): Very steep! Your legs will literally shake, and you can feel the structure slightly swaying in the wind. Pure adrenaline!

Right (Gentler & Stable): A much smoother incline with way less sway. Perfect if you prefer a relaxing walk.

Both sides offer amazing views, but whichever path you choose, it’s an incredible experience.

If you ever find yourself in Pohang, definitely add Space Walk to your bucket list!

P.S. I also share more beautiful spots in Korea on my Instagram (link in my profile if you’re interested)!

KCON fans pack L.A. Convention Center for K-pop, K-dramas and community

America’s grasp on Korean culture goes beyond the music and viral dance moves. The beauty products and the K-dramas, on top of the music — all of it has become a ubiquitous part of life in the United States, and that was evident on the opening day of KCON, the world’s largest annual convention and music festival that celebrates everything Korean.

Fans traveling from as far away as Hawaii flooded the South Hall of the L.A. Convention Center on Friday for the first day of the three-day event. Once inside, they were able to enjoy musical performances on two different stages, wait in endless lines to get their hands on free products from a number of Korean beauty brands and explore other aspects of Korean culture.

More important, they got to share an experience with their community. Here are some of the highlights from the first day of KCON.

Short term daycare experience while traveling to Seoul + Busan

Hi,

My wife and I planning to travel to Seoul & Busan next year May (mid to end of the month) with our 2 year old.

I talked to my wife about doing short term daycare so our son can experience SK daycare including learning Korean language (we been teach him since born btw).

Our concerns is two things:

  1. Cost: we are stay in Seoul for 5/6 days and spend about 4/5 days in Busan. Which one is more affordable? We are open to half day or full daycare.

  2. Foreign Experience: we are Black family coming from America so we think differently. We concern our son will be stand our differently. If you can recommend which daycare we should looking into in either (Seoul & Busan) area and share testimony who done this before.
