Best Sushi?

Fairly self explanatory. We live here and are searching for the best sushi restaurant for when we get the craving. Anyone have a good experience besides Fuji?

Suggestions for wife's birthday

Hi everyone, I hope you all are well.

I'm going to be in Krabi for my wife's birthday, and I want the best resort suggestions where I can give her the best birthday surprise.

I'm planning to either be in Ko Yao Yai (Preference 1) or Phi Phi (Preference 2) during her birthday. I want a nice resort that is peaceful and away from touristy places, with good views and a big pool. My budget is 5000-5200 baht per night. You can suggest resorts in mainland Krabi as well if you think they fit my need perfectly.

I would be grateful if you could suggest the best options. Thanks a lot in advance. May you all stay happy and healthy.

Did I plan Thailand wrong?

Hi,

I booked my flight tickets to Thailand during Sept end week (26th Sept - 2nd Oct).

Arrival at Bangkok and depart from Phuket. It's gonna be monsoon and I don't know what would be the best things to do around that time. We are a group of 5-6 bachelors.

Any suggestions would help. Thanks !!

Rabies Vaccine- affordable option

Hi all!
I need to get my day 14 rabies vaccine tomorrow in Krabi, and I was wondering where is the cheapest place to get this done?

I’ve contacted DoctorNow and they’ve quoted me 2,300 Baht which seems ridiculous. Aonang Medical Clinic doesn’t stock the vaccine I need (Verorab).

There is also the hospital and other clinics however I cannot contact them as I only have WhatsApp. I could ask my current hotel if they could call for me though,

Thanks in advance!! 🙏🙏

Ao nang to Emerald Pool by Two wheeler.

I am a very good driver and love riding on scooters. The only issue is I have planned Thailand trip on immediate basis so couldn’t applied for IDP. Are there any cops checks done in this route? Please don’t worry about my driving skills I drive safely and have local licence, I just don’t have IDP. Just worried about the cops.
Please advice.

I've never seen water as clear as at Phra Nang Beach, Krabi. Which one is your favourite beach in Krabi?

Anyone in Krabi wants to plan something together?

I am in Ao Nang, I was traveling with a friend but since she left ( 4 days ago ) I didn't leave the house.

I would love to go out a bit and maybe do some activities like spending the day in Railey beach...

Not looking for dating, but would love to meet!

Anyone up to meet?

(Not for dating purposes) I'm a local here and there is nearby festival going on, I get off work at 8 pm so I have to plan around that, the festival is gone by 19th.

Id love people to talk about places and give recommendations to even if we can't hang out!

Best beachfront hotels Koh Lanta?

Me and my girlfriend will be spending 2 weeks in Koh Lanta in October, during which we want to stay at various hotels so we can experience the best Koh Lanta has to offer.

We were looking for some hotel recommendations, money isn’t really an issue

Where to visit in the south?

Hey,

So my partner and I are travelling to Thailand and at the end of October, arriving in Chiang Mai on 30th, and then head home from Phuket on 20th November. Our current plan is as follows:

- Chiang Mai until 2nd November and then sleeper train to Bangkok

- Bangkok to 6th November and then a sleeper train to Surat Thani

- 7-9 November, head straight from Surat Thani to Khao Sok

- 9 November leave Khao Sok for Krabi

This is where we then end up a bit stuck. We think we want a few days in Krabi, Phi Phi and Phuket but we're conscious that we will have done a lot of travelling by that point and we're keen for some relaxation at the end of the holiday.

We're both in our mid-30s and we're not looking for anything too busy or a party vibe. Ideally somewhere more chill and laid back.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be welcome. Best places to base ourselves? Places to avoid? Suggestions on length of time anywhere (e.g. if you'd suggest only spending like a day or two in Krabi and then spend more in Phi Phi or Phuket)?

We're entirely flexible and just want to make sure we get the most out of our time so any thoughts would be very welcome!
