Anybody on here a YouTuber or know of any good kristala videos ?
I’m really enjoying the game. And just a bit bummed out at the lack of content guides builds etc. all that good stuff. As I’m a lazy souls player I’ve not listened to any dialogue or read any item descriptions yet I’m just living it for the vibe and combat so far. 😂
So how exactly do claws work? They seem so cool to use but have such low damage and weird scaling
I started a YouTube channel about a month ago focusing on indie games and games that may have gone unnoticed, and saw that Kristala had been fully released. To me the mix of a Darksouls style game with Assassins Creed style Parkour and take downs was an addicting breath of fresh air. Here is my first episode, in case anyone wants to check it out. Definitely playing this to completion!
So my journal just says make your way to myr and no other sub points. Every where I looked online says there's a path near the big tree but there isn't. Am I locked amd can't do anything? I can't beat samwise, the second it brings out that stomp I get killed
The lack of a map really tweaks my whiskers especially when the game says things like "open the Western gate" bro I have no way of knowing which way is West
So there a lot of "this is how I beat Samwise" advice and videos but none, I mean zero, look like my Samwise. Is there like an updated or patched version? Mine is harder? No poison spray, the stomp Spike is fast and nearly unavoidable (or I just suck) there are large unblockable blasts and smaller blade projectiles. I'm guessing I have a newer and probably harder version.
started the fight with Vermund (Dragons Dogma 2 reference) and my HUD disappeared.
I don't have footage of before the fight but at 0:07 on this video you can see that it is set to "always shown" and I had to toggle it off and on again to get it back 0:21.
Is there an elemental flow chart of weakness and resistance like pokemon?
Like
Ice > Fire > Nature > Lightning > Spirit > Psychic etc
Or is it all on a case by case basis?
Overall I’m glad I stuck with it after some initial bugs (blood spells going through enemies without damaging them, invisible weapons, dialog boxes not closing).
- The world - specially the final region - is huge which is why I’m sure the base game only included 3 of 6 crystal shards (I assume the rest will be DLC at some point).
- The bosses are largely good. Samwise is overtuned and probably should have been switched with Sif in the order you encounter the shard guardians. She’s optional but still felt wildly out of step with the other bosses at that point in the game. No issues with Byaslag since he’s supposed to be deadly in the lore.
- I wish curing Hiratrola would have seen him assist you in a later boss fight (like helping the wolf in the beginning of Resident Evil 4). It would have been awesome if he jumped in against It Beneath the Bog later in the game if you cured him.
- Magic users should have access to all magic spells, even if this were to unlock very late game. I had more unused pearls than spell slots by the end.
- Exploration is phenomenal. Well done to the dev team creating so many hidden little areas to find.
I’d give it a solid 7-7.5/10. Much better than Steel Rising and Another Crab’s Treasure as far as Soulslikes go but not on the same tier as Lies of P and Wuchang.
Where do I find it?? I’ve been running around this maze for an hour and can’t get past the blue barrier.
