Leaving kurnool tomorrow, went to new restaurant

Leaving Kurnool tomorrow for my first full-time job in Bangalore, so today was all about spending time with family and sneaking in one last new restaurant before I go.

Mandi King (opposite Anupama Bakery, VR Colony)

Food was good, ambience decent nothing flashy, nothing lacking. Wait time ran a bit longer than expected.

First impression: this one's right up there with Lotus and Al Mandi. Possibly a new regular. Updated it into my running restaurant review list.

Rating: 4.25/5

Why no one talking about what's happening in jantar mantar in Delhi

People of Kurnool, and almost no one around me seems to know what's happening at Jantar Mantar. I asked a few people, and some even said the students were just there to "have fun" and that the government would handle everything.

I argued for 10–15 minutes, but they dismissed me by saying, "You're just a kid."

They are beating the kids with lathi and expired tear gas , and pelting stones on student who are teenager and pointing out gun on them ? ? Scared of what kids?

Is anyone else seeing this level of unawareness, or is it just where I live?

19k to remove their "feature."

Perfect rainy vibes.

Gray skies outside. Neon green line inside.

Samsung's premium "feature" comes with a ₹19,000 removal fee.

Sub is getting active!!

A while back I posted about how the Kurnool sub has very few members compared to other city subs. Since then we've gained 120+ new members thank you and welcome to everyone who joined!

Also noticing the number of posts per day going up, and people are actively engaging in the comments too, which is great to see.

Hope this momentum continues and the community keeps growing.

One request though a small community is totally fine, but let's not let it turn into a bad one.

I'm hosting a meetup this weeknd- who's coming!?(First meetup of this sub?)

It's a small meetup nothing fancy, we will chose a location like a good cafe which has good ambience and good food ,with some board games around.

My suggestions or my go to places-

OTG(idee fixee kafee haus - has some board games and good food)

Amay bistro( vr colony)

Any others- please suggest;)

Strictly speaking, no creepos no cheapos.

You come, meet people, have fun, eat food order whatever you'd like- pay for your food, and make good hangout fun activities, and leave safely.

No texting or creeping up for women, neither following them for cheapo behaviour.

(Also please don't text me for women's contacts to set them up for you. I am not a broker- had to post this because last time I got many many messages saying I have to set them up.)

I will be posting any updates or any other info here itself.

Intrested people can comment!-

(dm if you're ready to hang out)

Overnight Oats 🥣

This has been our go to breakfast from past ~2 months and I must say, completely in love with this. Overnight Oats with any choice of fruit.

We are shuffling between apple and mango for now and somedays no fruit.

Rolled Oats, Greek Yoghurt, 1tbsp chia seeds, pumpkin seeds and some milk go in one bowl.

Morning we add overnight soaked almonds and walnuts to it. Add additional milk in morning to adjust the consistency as per need.

Would love to hear if anyone has any variants to this. Will try 😇

Went to village today, saw a heron which smartly follows the farmer while ploughing so it doesn't have to search for worms on its own

So basically that man is ploughing his farm, and this heron is smartly following him around the whole time. Whenever the plough turns up the soil, worms come out, and the heron just picks them off right there — no need to search on its own. It stays close to him the entire time he's working. Pretty smart the way it's figured out a free meal just by sticking to the farmer.

Really smart isn't it?

Many might have noticed it but it was my first time seeing something like this so just shared.

Be Kind!

Given it was weekend, had been to SVC mall yesterday for an evening stroll with my wife who is 7 months pregnant.

We were standing in queue (first in queue) and were waiting for lift at -2 floor.
Some group of men in their late 20s and early 30s who were already loud and blabbering all the time and were juggling between 2 lifts barged from behind us without even an ounce of courtesy or humanity or decency and ran into the lift.

Lift already had few ppl and these douchebags barged into it and it was full. We were literally waiting for the lift from quite long.

We got so pissed and were shocked at this that we decided to take stairs till G and then take escalators.

Kindness , morality , empathy are only seen in Insta reels and Social Media but reality is totally different.

Remember,
“In a world where you can be anything. Be Kind”

Is the "one-man woman" dead in our city's dating culture, or is total devotion a one-way street now?

Hey guys, using a throwaway account for obvious reasons. I wanted to start a serious discussion about the dating culture and loyalty levels right here in our city, because something real happening in my close circle has completely messed with my head.

I know a local couple here (early 20s, born early 2000s). The guy is the ultimate definition of a "one-woman man." He’s been completely, blindly devoted to this one girl since they were young. He doesn't look at anyone else, his entire life revolves around her, and they are planning to settle down soon. But I know for a fact that the girl had casual encounters with two other guys during their relationship. He has absolutely no clue, and I'm never going to be the one to ruin things by telling him, especially since she genuinely does love him and wants a life with him.

Seeing this firsthand in a tier-2 city made me realize something. We always talk about how tier-2/tier-3 cities
are more "traditional" or "loyal" compared to major metros, but I’m starting to think that’s an illusion.

It makes me wonder: do "one-man women" actually exist in our generation here anymore?

I’m talking about girls born in 2000, 2001, or later. Are there actually young women in our city who are entirely content with one guy long-term, without ever looking around or entertaining other options? Or has social media and the shift in local culture made everyone—even in smaller cities—feel like they have infinite choices, while some guys are still stuck in that old-school, fiercely loyal mindset?

What is actually going on in our city's dating scene? Are you guys seeing genuine, two-way lifelong loyalty, or is it mostly asymmetric now? Let’s talk honestly.
