My friend and I have been having a debate recently about the Oxygen Gym branch in Jabriya, Kuwait.
One of us claims that the gym has a noticeably high number of gay members, while the other thinks that’s just a stereotype or rumor with no real evidence.

If you regularly go to this branch or know people who do, what’s your honest opinion? Have you personally noticed anything that supports or disproves this claim?

I’m not asking to judge anyone or start arguments. I’m simply curious because we’ve heard completely opposite opinions and wanted to know what people with firsthand experience think.

Odd question, but I’ve noticed a lot of tall garden hedges being cut down in height in Mishref. Someone suggested that this was a municipal thing - anyone know any details/reasons/etc?

I usually get around 50-60ms on overwatch and for the part 3 days, I’ve been getting 130-150 ms.

I triple checked the region and it clearly shows I’m in Saudi servers.

Until a few years ago Kuwait was relatively quite modest and traditional, less free mixing and more visual modesty (outfits) too.

Lately flirting, free mixing and mixed spaces, wearing activewear in public, bikinis on islands, g@ys etc have become very very common.

Do you guys think in the next few years we’d turn into Dubai ?

Although, I’ve noticed that the above mentioned happens only in ‘Dubai’ amongst expats and the locals / other emirates are quite traditional. However in Kuwait all the things have mainly been happening among citizens and expats are also becoming more open with their dressing.

Returned from vacation to mahboula around 2pm to no power. I’m aware of how the ministry sets scheduled outages. Harris said this is what’s happening, but it’s 6pm! 4 hours and no power. Any one else is all I’m asking?

Everyplace I go to has all of them out of stock, not first time struggling with out of stock items, but it’s a tad frustrating. And ordering an ac from any online retailer outside Kuwait is a bit not practical or feasible.
Anyone going through sth similar? Any solution I might be keeping a blind eye on? Appreciate any insight or advice.

For context ,Am an expat female ,I have observed,that whenever we go to govt organisations,like hospitals,ministry offices,we don’t get a response to Our Salam .
Is it because of male /female thing or it’s just pure racial?(saying this because even women don’t respond to Salam)

I have ordered 45kd worth of huawei router on june 30th.And they said it is express delivery but it can take up to 72 hours..

i keep on checking my order in their tracking site..every day it shows out for delivery and then they are rescheduling again without proper reason and without even calling me.So i called customer care after 72 hours time which is said by their telecaller.but the customer care is saying The delivery guy tried to call me and am unavailable so they are rescheduling. but this is a lie..I have given my proper number and my number is working completely fine. The customer care keep saying the same thing.so i called them again on 4th of july and said to cancel and refund my order...

Now they are saying They cannot cancel it directly..when delivery driver call tell him to cancel the delivery so that it will be cancelled.. After that cancel i will get the refund.. But how can i tell the delivery person to cancel when no one is called me?? No one ever called me about the router delivery..But these guys keep saying tell the delivery driver to cancel..I asked the same to their team..they said we cannot cancel and we can send a mail to our supervisor for escalation. but no resolution even from their supervisors also..

they gave me this cancellation request number (1S0000006489449). and kept on saying to tell the driver to cancel or dont accept the delivery so that it will get cancelled and then after 3 days il get the refund or else it will be on pending forever..how can i accept or not accept or talk to delivery driver when no one is called me?

so basically they are saying until the delivery drivers authorization of cancellation of the product we cannot cancel it and my refund also depends on this cancellation..🫩

So i just complained about this on CITRA WEBSITE with proof of payment and paid invoice.

hoping for a solution on this matter..

what else i can do for quick resolution.

UPDATE: GOT MY ORDER DELIVERED IN AN HOUR AFTER CITRAS COMPLAINT. But still they need to train their customer care executives how to solve or even respond to a minor issue.

فخلال ال20 سنة الماضية اهلي مروا بظروف مادية سيئة ادت اننا ما نحصل على الاقامة، ولما اخيرا صار عندنا فلوس رفعوا الحد الأدنى لراتب المعيلي الي هو الاب إلى 800 دينار، ابوي إقامته استمرت لكن احنا ما حصلنا شيء

من سنة ونص ابوي كان يبغى يجدد إقامته، جاء عليه حظر لان وقتها عمري كان 20 وماعندي اقامة من ساعة ما انولدت (واختي بعد) وهنابدأت المشاكل تتراكم

اول شيء عرفنا اننا نقدر نسويه هو اننا نرفع قضية في المحكمة، وبعد تقريبا سنة الحمدلله نزل حكم بصفنا وحق بالإقامة للاب والاسرة، وباقي الكتاب بس للحكم النهائي وما اعرف شنو مخليها تطول هالكثر وواضح انها بتقول اكثر

عموما هذه مشاكلنا المتراكمة:

1. بطبيعة ان ابوي كان المعيل الوحيد، تراكم علينا إيجار البيت القديم يمكن اكثر من 1300 دينار، وراعي البيت يعرف ظروفنا واحنا ساكنين عنده من 20 سنة تراكمت علينا ايجارات اكثر من كذا وسددناه، لكنه هالسنة داخل على طمع ومتغير وما يخاف الله، فالشهر هذا تاربخ 13 ابوي جايه استدعاء للمخفر وشايلين هم وش نسوي وخايفين انه يعطل حقنا بالإقامة ولا شيء

وبعد 5 ايام لازم نسدد إيجار قيمته 220 دينار هذا ارخص شي لقيناه، البيت القديم كان 150 دينار

وهنا عندنا استدعاء للمخفر بخصوص الإيجار بتاريخ 13 من ذا الشهر

الكتاب متأخر ما اعرف ليه تأخر عطيناه للسكرتير حق القاضي المفروض بيخلص الاسبوع الي فات

وفوقها باص الوالد خرب وبالتصليح

هل نقدر نروح نطلب مساعدة من اي مكان طالما محد منا عنده اقامة بس عندنا اوراق محكمة بدون كتاب لانه جالس يتأخر

ظروفنا من اكثر الظروف غير منطقية وصعبة ومؤلمة

I’m looking for recommendations for a good doctor in Kuwait who specializes in high blood pressure (hypertension), preferably an internal medicine doctor, cardiologist, or hypertension specialist.

I’m 28 years old and have had elevated readings on and off for the past one or two years, sometimes around 160/80. I also get very anxious when checking my blood pressure intentionally, which makes it difficult to know how much anxiety is affecting my readings.

I’d like to get properly evaluated, determine whether I actually have hypertension, and check for possible underlying causes given my age.

If you’ve had a good experience with a specific doctor or clinic in Kuwait, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Hey everyone,

​Need some advice or to see if anyone else is dealing with this right now. On June 30th, I ordered the Huawei 5G CPE 5 router from the Ooredoo online store for KD 45. They promised delivery within 72 hours,but it’s now July 4th and I’ve got nothing.

​The tracking status keeps changing to "Out for Delivery" and then randomly reschedules itself later in the day without any explanation. No delivery agent has called me once.

​When I call customer care, every single executive tells me the exact same script: "The driver tried to call you, but you didn't respond, so it was rescheduled."

​This is a complete lie. I have been glued to my phone, my contact number on the order is 100% correct, and I have absolutely zero missed calls. When I tell them this, they just say, "We have escalated this to a supervisor/the delivery team," but nothing happens. No one calls back, and no one updates me. They gave me an escalation number, but it feels completely useless.

​Has anyone dealt with this loop before? What are my options now? Should I just cancel the whole thing and buy the router from somewhere like wibi or something...or should I take this escalation number straight to CITRA?
