Discounted Reissues on Amazon

Hey, all!

Thanks to our friends at Vinyl-Deals, I noticed that three of Kylie’s reissues are discounted on Amazon.

I have no idea for how long, but their price guarantee is too good to pass.

KYLIEX2008 Bluray Issue

Recently picked up a region free copy of KYLIEX2008 on Bluray. Unfortunately it doesn't work, just saying 'unrecognized'. Luckily the seller is issuing a refund.

Before I go buy another copy I searched this issue and saw a few others saying the same thing on other reddit posts.

Is this isolated, or are more people having the same issue? Maybe a bad pressing?

I'd rather check before spending the money again.

Appreciate you folks!

Kylie x James Dean Bradfield

Can we talk about how effing amazing this track is??!! I just wanna know. Because it’s got to be one of my favourites and I feel like it’s underrated? It’s like Kylie on Everything Must Go. One of the most ICONIC albums of the 90s. (Also underrated in some countries). But the Kylie track is the absolute best.

Fever album cover outtakes

Thought of making this after seeing the Fever album cover outtakes. It's also designed to be a desktop wallpaper.

About the Documentary…

I binged the documentary series this afternoon and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. I’ve felt a bit emotional about it since finishing it (in a positive way), and I have an even deeper respect and admiration for her than I already did (and I didn’t think that was even possible!). Something about her being so open during this series has kinda shifted something in me that I can’t quite explain, idk I just needed to get this out in writing because it’s made me feel a lot of things, this series was perfect and I didn’t know how much I would need it, 10/10 no notes. Now let’s bring on the Tension Tour live film!

Fever (25th Anniversary Edition)

Fever will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and Kylie has hinted that something will be coming/happening to celebrate. My wish is for all of her discography to be reorganized in this format, with the original album as Disc 1 and all of the other songs (B-sides/bonus tracks/unreleased) on Disc 2. This would be how I'd want Fever to be rereleased:

Side A

  1. More More More

  2. Love at First Sight

  3. Can't Get You Out of My Head

  4. Fever

  5. Give It to Me

  6. Fragile

  7. Come Into My World

  8. In Your Eyes

  9. Dancefloor

  10. Love Affair

  11. Your Love

  12. Burning Up

Side B

  1. Boy

  2. Rendezvous at Sunset

  3. Tightrope

  4. Good Like That

  5. Harmony

  6. Never Spoken

  7. Baby

  8. Whenever You Feel Like It

  9. Feel So Good

  10. The Music Will Always Love You

  11. No Better Love

  12. So High

All of us after watching the documentary

OMG how I cried…

Also, loved how the filmmaker uses the song as bookends. When it showed up in the opening credits I was like “huh?” but by the end I was sobbing.

This guy cracked me up

"It's that chick from the eighties."

He would have been a kid when The Locomotion was a hit in the US. I always forget how strange it must have been for Americans to witness Kylie's return after almost 15 years in the wilderness in the States. It must have been an eye-opener to see the cute Locomotion singer from 1988 suddenly reappear as a 33-year-old woman with a slick, cool pop/dance track in the early 2000s.

I recall Kylie telling an American journalist in 2002 how funny she thought it was that most Americans were unaware she had continued to release music after the 1980s. Imagine hearing Better the Devil You Know and Confide in Me for the first time after rediscovering Kylie during the Fever era.
