Assistance Needed Kyosho Dirtmaster

This was my first kit I have ever built I am pretty familiar with rcs as I have had them for a few years. After finishing the kit and running it for the first time all I hear is what I think to be the slipper clutch whine I tried tightening it more and it still did the same. Could it be a stripped spur gear? I am attaching pictures and videos of my problem

Peppermint green challenge

Making Peppermint green has been on my mind for so long that I had to give it a go . Yellow, blue , white , some determination and a plastic knife are what I got . Any suggestions? I think ive got it close , so waiting for the sample to dry before going any further.

I think part of it is the application. Creating the perfect thin layer of the correct tone that can then be backed in white to make it pop .

My TOMS and my very first Kyosho

Just finished up my first Kyosho after “just” building a Tamiya Egress. What a joy of a build, was worried as I heard it wasn’t as well instructed as Tamiya but the multiple bags that you finish before moving on to the next one made it really simple.

Took far longer than my Egress mainly sure to how little space you have and trying to get the ESC to fit and a battery that would work. My standard sized shorty which is only 25mm high could fit with almost 0 body clearance, problem came when you wanted to add cables.

I also didn’t fancy doing box art on this one, to my eye the decals are a bit much so went with an Optima inspired colour way and come custom made decals. First time not using Tamiya PS paint, airbrushed it and am about 90% happy with the results, nothing the decals can’t hide anyway.

As for driving it, I’ve only run about half a battery though it on tarmac on non Kyosho tires and I’m super impressed with the handling exp as it doesnt come with anti roll as standard. I’m tempted no to add them after my first run, really controllable rear end. Doesn’t feel as fast as the Egress in my hands, but does feel far more fun controllable to drive.

Rand new RT5 in the box!

I was given this NIB RT5 from a friend who was home in Japan last week for the holidays. He came over on Sunday once on my track and knew this was right up my alley! For the first time, I will be leaving this in the box untouched.

Scorpion help - clicking on acceleration

Assume I'm a noobie and know nothing, you won't be far off. This is a rereleased Kyosho Scorpion. What I'm trying to show in the video is that the motor and wheels spin freely and run freely until put under load. Once the middle gear is installed, it gives me this clicking sound and no acceleration (in the video the throttle is being held down all the way). Eventually it will catch and go like normal. I thought before I started tearing it apart, I'd see if anyone knew what I needed to do. Thank you.
