Hi All,

I was at the show at the Armory in Minneapolis last night and they mentioned a limited edition shirt with Sweet Martha's and proceeds going to Saint Paul Public Library. Does anyone know anything about that? I never got to see the shirt and I'm super curious

Limited edition 2xLP pressing of Sound of Silver by DFA Records from 2012. It’s hand printed with silver, this one is 194/200. Easily the coolest vinyl in my collection now!

I need to discuss this red rocks run…

…first time seeing them after being a fan for 16 years and that was the happiest I ever been in my entire life. Mostly sober too. what a perfect night. What were everyone’s favorite moments??

-that whole encore was perfect. was worried they weren’t going to play home and I was A MESS. same with dance yrself clean. was happy they did NA scum for my buddy who wanted that song so bad.

-other voices???? HOLY SHIT. never heard that song before and the version they did was an absolute RAGER. straight PORTAL jam. everything I love about their dancey side in one track. hardest I danced all night.

-pow pow was a standout dance track for me. always loved that song and that’s another song that had me grooving like crazy in my row

-NY I love you had me sobbing just like I thought it would.

-too much love was a nice surprise too.

bummed I missed x ray eyes, daft punk, and time to get away bc I only went Sunday but overall so happy about that show and cannot wait to see them again. love u guys.

At the red rocks show last night, Murphy was wearing a tshirt with what looked like a drawing of an iphone, with the number 9:34 on it. And maybe .5 or a lowercase g or something below? Any ideas what that might reference?

Live Show Sound Engineering?

I'm curious if anyone on this channel does audio engineering for live shows and can give me some insight? I've seen LCD several times now, In theaters and outside venues. Every time, the sound quality is incredible. Easily some of the best quality for a live show and consistently good. I go to probably 1 or 2 shows a month, more in the summer and it's an amazing hit or miss with bands on their sound quality. Is it the equipment, the engineer at the mixing board, the bands tenacity with quality audio? I would think outdoor venues are harder to dial in than a theater? Just curious on how this band does their magic.

Any info of the guy who overdosed/passed out last night during LCD Soundsystem?

This was around 11:15pm in row 35/34/33. He honestly did not seem to be with us anymore. My group was traumatized and we are hoping he was revived somehow. Thank you to everyone who responded quickly to get him help. He was carried out on a plastic tarp.
