I’m looking to buy a sizeable LCD Soundsystem vinyl collection — ideally a full or near-full discography from one seller.
Went to see LCD the last time they came to Ireland and played Malahide. At the time I barely knew any of their stuff and just went because they were my brothers favourite band, thought it might be a good bonding experience and I also just wanted to find out why he was so obsessed with them. Safe to say, after that night I've completely understood why they're so fucking great and I've been yearning to see them again ever since. Just praying they announce Irish dates for next year or even earlier if that's not too much to ask 😭
Hey guys,
I'm a big fan of the opening act at the Reno show, Danz CM.
I'm already flying from Ohio to California to see her open for Ladytron next weekend, and I am super bummed I didn't know about her show opening for LCDS until yesterday. Otherwise I might have chosen the Reno show, since I've seen Ladytron before but not LDCS (still hyped to see Mira Aroyo perform again, though!).
Anyway, Danz CM just released a retrospective compilation of a bunch of her back catalog stuff, which is as close to a greatest hits album of her tracks as you can get to. I'd recommend everyone give it a listen, because she's honestly really great.

Most of her newer stuff is a more ambient, but this older stuff is very danceable. Given that she just curated this compilation, which includes some remasters, I suspect she'll play a lot of these tracks in her upcoming live performances.
And this is maybe the most excited i’ve ever been for any live event my entire life.
I found Dance Yrself Clean from Evil Dead Rise and it quickly became one of my favorite songs of all time. I only just got into their other music the past year, but they’re quickly one of if not my favorite band rn.
I genuinely can’t wait for the concert. Only a couple more days of work and then all I have to do is wait..
Is there anything i should know beforehand or just be happy i’m going to have my mind blown (hopefully)?
Lorde closed out Kilby Block Party last night and started playing AMF on the PA (seems she’s been closing sets this way as per setlist.fm). A large portion of the crowd stayed and a dance party ensued. BUT, they cut the song off right after “like a sales force into the night”!!! So fun for 6 mins, but a shame to miss the last 2 lol
Hi, I'm looking for a multi zone (7 zones)sound system for my salon. I'd like built in ceiling speakers. I want something so each stylist can play their own music in their suite and then another zone for waiting area. We will have an iPad at front desk they can choose music on there or from their phones. I know nothing about amps, receivers, etc. Very new to all of this. I'd like it very budget and user friendly. Or do you think if they each had their own bluetooth speaker in their room that would sound good enough? I don't want to spend a lot on this but I also want it to sound good. Any ideas?
Small venue. Should be a blast. Anyone else going?
You heard right. Me and my band are selling my LCD Soundsystem modded bass guitar. It's got the same pickups that James Murphy put in his to get that early punchy bass you hear on all the early HITS.

I just got back from camping and while I was out there I came up with a question about my favorite song and why it resonates so hard with me.
Home.
Is it something that he lost or something that he never had?
LCD Soundsystem as of this day has 3M monthly listeners on Spotify. I remember just a few years ago that number was significantly lower, somewhere around 1.8M, which is more than a 50% increase. And they haven't released an album!
Compare that with indie artists which are peers with them, like Arcade Fire, Interpol, The National, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, maybe even The Strokes... Their numbers are decreasing or just stagnating without new music. I mean, I remember The National and Interpol being much more popular on Spotify than LCD, and now their numbers are lower!
I know numbers don't mean shit regarding the quality of music, and I don't want for this to come off as some sort of competition, I just find it interesting how LCD is "aging". It seems like their cultural importance and legacy grows exponentially compared to other bands. It makes me happy and I can't wait for some new music.
All my friends is my favourite lcd 6 This is happening is more consistent.
This was my girlfriend and I’s first date and if u have vids of the area closer to the stage (towards the left) would be so cool type of thing to put in our wedding vid
Getting sent to reno for work and learned the day i land LCD is paying GSR .
never been blessed with an LCD set in person so talk about an amazing chance being a kid from Nebraska we get skipped a lot haha.
no openers listed - is it safe to assuming im getting just one full night of fun from the band?
Did an official music video ever get made for this song? I made this silly thing 12 years ago with just an old MacBook because I was like someone’s gotta make a video. And it seems like there still isn’t a “real” music video for Dance Yrself Clean?
