Meeting Transwomen in Alaska?

I’m a 39 year old transwoman, been on HRT for like 5 years now. I generally date cisgender women, buuut after my heart got destroyed (again) by one of them I just can’t do it anymore. It seems I always get lied to and/or cheated on with “He’s just a friend.”- and each time it cuts a little deeper.
I’m sick of building a “family” with some toxic selfish lady and her spoiled coddled tablet kids; and then having my family ripped away from me every time because she got bored one day and slept with a random or her ex.
I’m also repulsed by cisgender men, so that leaves me to live out the rest of my life alone… with cats I guess? I hope not lol
I’m looking to date someone more like me; Ideally another transwoman, but I’m not sure where to even meet one.
I don’t go to bars/clubs. I don’t party, and I’m not very outgoing.
All dating apps seem scammy, and I’d rather die than respond to some gross poly couple, or some gross married man trying to get NSA in his car. (Yuck)
I work a lot, and I come home and do nothing. I’m so lonely.

Looking for a hiking buddy!

Hello all! I was wondering if there was anyone else that is in need of a hiking buddy in Homer? I’m looking to be a bit more active and having a person to go on routine hikes to motivate me to actually getting out would be amazing. Preferably people in their 20s since I am about to turn 21 and that would make me a bit more comfortable, any comments are appreciated to assist this goal though!

P.S. I am a queer individual so if you’re not a fan of that please refrain from mashing slurs into your keyboard :)

Does anybody know who Alaska Medicaid is contracted out to vaginoplasties now?

Apparently the previous hospital they had contracted out to for adults declined to renew it at the end of 2025. I called the recipient line and they just sent me a list of thousands of plastic surgeons, which is technically helpful, but calling thousands of phone numbers is less than ideal as a plan of action.

Has anybody else figured out if there's a new hospital they're contracted out to, and if so, which it is?
