Hey fellow V60ians!

So, I bought my V60 to use as a dap. What's the concensus here on conserving battery life and health? I only use it around once a week for a few hours and top up the battery when done but have heard it's best to keep the batt at around 80% full.

Also, what's the best level to leave it at for long term storage? Cheers

Found Closest App to Stock Music Player Its Neplayer....

This Neplayer ( Japan app ) has setting to passthrough ... (tick sound quality priority option work for internal dac too)

Normally app like nuetron music player or usb audio player pro resample dsd to 24 176khz (5.6mhz) or 356khz ( on usb audio pro)

Which sound really off to the native .... After suddenly i found the difference after clicking on passthrough option i cross check it by opening LG g8x android 9 which support dsd native

This app also support MQA 😶 directly as passthrough on lg v50 could be check by turning on off it dont affect audio

In simple im not claiming this app better ( as it cost around 10 dollar) i hv mod apk but overall its way better player for dsd than any other for android 9 n android 10 or below ... On 11 or 12 i didnt check ... once u on passthrough u cant play dsd 256 11.2 or 512 22.0 which is way higher than support version 64 n 128 ... u will find difference for sure

Had to say goodbye to my good old LG V60

I tried... I bought one battery from eBay with hopes... unfortunately, it was very weak. Then I tried another one, more expensive.. same result. And no matter how much I love my LG V60, I simply could not continue with the poor battery life.

Then I started to research and after quite some time, I came to this conclusion: OnePlus 15.

Yeah, I know... I used to dislike OnePlus a lot I simply did not like their phones but boy, with this one they really did it for me

No Quad DAC, no SD card, no V60 experience but still, OnePlus 15 is a battery monster and has a lot on its sleeves. Contrary to many who like to bash the camera, the camera is very good, sometimes even better then the big boys iPhone, Samsung, Pixel.

I got 13h screen on time on its monster 7300 mAh battery and it's got 120w charger. Yeah, heard that right.

As someone who had V60, I still miss my V60 but this was the best replacement for me and I am pleased. Price is not so low but still, lower than the main "actors".

I posted this hoping it may help someone who is in the same position of having to say goodbye to LG V60 and cannot decide what could the best replacement. Now, this was my take of course but who knows, it may help some of you guys

LGV60 Stuck on USB charging mode

Hi there,
My LGV60 is stuck in USB charging mode, so I can't use MTP file transfer. I've entered into developer mode, click "Select USB configuration" - it looks like the menu with parameters appeared for about one millisecond - and instantly disappeared - so I phisically cant choose needed mode.
What can I do to switch my USB from charging to MTP?

Need advice from people that replaced the USB assy/screen

So I've previously replaced my battery, that lasted a bit over a year and my US T-Mobile V60 from 2020 started to show signs of degredation. It was really having trouble with the USB port staying connected so I decided to do both this time around. Replaced the USB board w audio board and the ribbon cable. Replaced the battery. Primary screen now doesn't recognize any touch.

I've disassembled and resassembled the thing at least 9 times, even added non conductive "spacers" to make sure the USB ribbon wasn't coming out at either end. Everything works except touch. Fortunately back in the day I bought the dual screen case, so with a combination of a mouse on a OTG or by BT, I'm able to get past the lock screen and then use the second screen. I'm an IT and have messed with plenty of small components before, the cables are seated as best they can be. They don't have debris in them, I can't see any bent pins. It's otheriwse a mint condition phone, lives in a hard shell case.

My question for hoepfully my predecessors, is is the one left side screen ribbon cable the only connection point for touch, or does touch also go through the USB board?

Google AI suggested the later, so I bought 2 more USB board cables (all ended up being the same aftermarket part that's just a bit too long), installed one of those, no change. I can't go back to the original OEM cable even if it was flakey, because I slipped trying to get it off the glue and broke off a tiny component.

So I'm at am impasse of either getting a screen, a screen with frame, another USB board, or what I'd really hate is trying to find a new phone in this market. Advice please?

Looking for the Camera Add-ons from SmartWorld

As the title states... I can not find any valid links to them as I would like my panorama and 3D and filters back. I had them before the 12 to 13 upgrade and they got deleted and I did not know that smartworld was closing so I never redownloaded them

If I install a custom ROM to my LG V60, will I still be able to utilize the USB quad dac?

The DAC is the main reason I've kept my LG V60 for so long, but the vanilla Android OS has become a pain in my ass. If I flash something else, would it be able to take advantage of the DAC?

The inner screen on my LG V60 dual screen has fallen off. What should I use to stick it back, tape or glue? I'm just afraid that I might not be able to take it apart someday for a repair if I use glue. Please advise. Thanks!

Confirmed good replacement vendors or parts?

Are there any reputable Amazon or eBay vendors that sell confirmed good parts? I need the following:

• Real OLED screen replacement (maybe with frame).

• High capacity battery.

• USB flex with all necessary modules (microphone).

• Glass or plastic back panel.

Hey all, I dropped my already fractured screen, and green lines and flickering started happening. Any help finding good replacement parts would be appreciated! I'm very comfortable doing the work myself, I just need the parts. I'd rather revitalize this device and re-home it in my dual screen case as a long term secondary device.
