I unintentionally neglected my doll accounts and projects for a very long time. Oops

After my Bratz duo custom, I'm planning on making a Megan thee Stallion and Cardi B Fierce Customs

I wanted to see the vision first so step one is sketch, then I gotta shave the dolls

Found the new omgs randomly tonight at Meijer, and boy are they cuties!

I know My Melody has not been the most popular design, but I'm a sucker for a doll with blue hair. And of course I had to get her bestie Kuromi. The new faces are really interesting and I like that they can side eye each other. I've also included a pic with the old style face of anyone wanted to see them side by side. In addition to the eyes and lashes, the head appears to be slightly short and the face is less flat around the most and mouth (forgot to take a pic in profile).

Same nice nylon hair with product in it same overall quality in the clothes, although obviously fewer pieces. Melody has just the skirt, shirt, hat, and shoes. Kuromi has all those plus a jacket and the belt. Ears are not pierced and they do not come with stands. Melody's hat does not stay on well, but Kuromi's is secured around her pigtails.

They're not OMG at their peak, but they're still nice dolls. They can have fun hanging out with their Licca counterparts!

My first time drawing in the omg style! I like this theme and have a good amount of ideas for it!

I wanted to do a better outfit but was unsure the direction to go in, I love the way the hair tuned out, it looks so beautiful and I am really happy with the colors!

Thank you for providing the theme! I am happy I got to try out this style, I want to learn more about how to do it, I would love to create a design that looks like the real thing! If you have any recommendations for how I can get closer to the real style please let me know😛😛

I have traced the base provided in this June 2026 Monthly Challenge post, but the colors, hair, and outfit choices are my own. I decided to use one of my existing OCs, named Gina but redressed as if she were a LOL OMG doll. Her doll name would be "G-Force," because Gina has gravity powers and that fits in with this random, "atmospheric" and rainbow design I tried to do. She's supposed to have a big hairclip that has the winged silver G with the rainbow ribbons on it, as seen on her bag.

Technical details, the lineart was done in Medibang Paint because I could work on my phone and laptop. Coloring, text, etc. on GIMP. I cannot draw in the LOL style or I hope I used the right flair, if not, sorry. :(

$20 is too much imo, I'm thinking $12.99 tops. I don't love the side eyes and duck mouth if I'm being honest.

I dyed her hair pink, and it turned out this purple, I prefer it over the blue just need if I’m gaslighting myself or not.

What’s even more crazy is only one of her ears is pierced so maybe it’s just as well she only came with one!? Has anyone else experienced this? Kind of disappointed but she was from Vinted (but new in box) so it’s not the sellers issue that there was a manufacturing/packaging error

Okay I might be making connections that aren’t really connections but with the new LOL OMG Hello Kitty line it made my brain do things. Last year Bratz did a Sanrio line that included Cloe, Jade, and Yasmine. People realized how…majority white this doll line was and really wanted Sasha to be included and so after a while Bratz revealed that Sasha would be added. People just chalked it up to Sanrio being the ones who called for it. But very recently the OMG line came out also collab with Hello kitty and this time the line has a wider array of skin tones compared to Bratz. So I’m questioning if with the Bratz situation if it was Sanrio or…if it was Bratz. Cause Bratz has its history with white washing characters and frankly just not leveling up doll and representation wise compared to MH or even Barbie. So I’m wondering if this whole time it was Bratz who decided to not add Sasha? But idk it could just be Sanrio learned their lesson but again idk just putting my thoughts out there.

Does anyone know how I can identify which hello kitty character you get in those little blind ball things?? For the fluffy ones at least they show you which one you get so you can make sure you pick out the ones you actually want. But the hard ball ones that doesn’t seem to be the case. I finally saw some at Walmart and I really want the hello kitty one and cinnamon roll but I don’t want to waste extra money trying to search for those specific ones. *PHOTO FOR REFERENCE. These are the ones I’m talking about. There is a fluffy bag version but those are not what I’m referencing * :)
