Help me find where I could get a good deal,under a lakh atleast.

After doing a lot of soul-searching for the perfect fit for my aesthetics and budget, I finally decided to go with the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 — i5-13420H, OLED, 14-inch.

Got it from a Lenovo Exclusive Store for ₹80K. Didn’t get much of a discount. 😅

My priorities were a Windows laptop, a thin-and-light design, and a good brand reputation.

Any suggestions on how I can optimise it further for a better battery life?

Hey everyone, I need some advice regarding a Flipkart order.

I ordered an ASUS ExpertBook P3 AI PC and the original promised delivery date was August 18. The order was confirmed and shipped on August 16.

Now Flipkart has suddenly changed the delivery date to August 21 and the order is showing “Slight delay in Delivery.” Their message says that the concern is being looked into, but there isn't any clear explanation.

I'm honestly worried that they'll eventually cancel the order, especially since this was a good deal and the laptop is currently showing a different price/availability.

Has anyone faced something similar with Flipkart?

What should I do now?

Should I wait until August 21?

Should I contact Flipkart support and ask for a written confirmation that the order won't be cancelled?

Is there anything I can do if they cancel it after delaying the delivery?

Has anyone successfully received their order after getting this “Slight delay in Delivery” message?

My requirements:

- Engineering software like MATLAB and VS Code
- Light editing
- Some gaming (low-end indie games, Minecraft Java, and gacha games like WuWa and Genshin Impact)
- It should last four years

The price has been increasing over the last few months. I have a budget of ₹65k, but maybe I can stretch it to ₹70k.

I fear the price might increase even more, but if it doesn't, I could potentially get a discount during the yearly sale.

Please help me out if anyone knows anything.

I know few might have bad experience with acer service. But I hope, such shouldn't happen. Ive been looking for ultra 5 laptops, most of them ( with good build) have always been in the range of 80k-90k.

And swift go 14 has has always been in the range 90k-1lac,

except on 12th August-

on that day the laptop was 50% off. And I grabbed it for 57000Rs. Onlyyyyy!!! (Inculding bank offers)

I feel SFG14-72T @57k is gold.

Quality is good, no scratch, everything is perfect.

Ran Apple diagnostics and there was no problem.

P.S. - just wondering how is it that it was purchased in 2023(as seen in apple check website) and the battery cycle is 124. Any possibility that the battery is replaced and if how can I know it.

As you know I recently got a Strix G16 5070ti, unfortunately the laptop auto shutdown as soon as opened any game after 5 minutes.

So, I tried reaching out to Vijay Sales, but they said Asus' gonna help etc.

Finally, I drafted an escalation mail to the Vijay Sales HQ. Surprise surprise, within an hour I received a call from the outlet saying that they'll either replace or refund my money, whichever I want.

Unfortunately, they didn't have another unit available, so I told them to give me a Zephyrus (5070ti) in return, for which they asked for 30k extra.

After thinking it through, I took the deal and now I've a thin and light laptop for the first time haha.

Full disclosure, the Strix was a display piece with 86% battery, and about 6 months old. The Zephyrus was seal packed so that was a deal maker.

Effective cost for this entire deal (post card offers) came out to be ₹2.3L. I can finally carry my laptop around without any back pain, so feels like a huge W.

TLDR: Got a new Zephyrus instead of my Strix by paying 30k extra
