Confused

In season 5 episode 2 I was abit confused when Elliot was in that crash with the truck and then suddenly he wakes up and then Liv is there and stuff happens and they do the mission and try find the guys
Then he wakes up and his mum is beside him and the next scene he’s at his office and bell is talking to him and says they found the necklace and the picture of the young girl. I just trying to comprehend what happened

Besa

Checking in as a newbie again! I didn’t know we were gonna dive right back into Wheatley after the Stabler undercover situation (knowing what I know now lol)

  1. I loved the story line with the Kostas the Albanians don’t play. It gave me everything I loved about the Sopranos! And as a gay man I loved that Stabler kept his word and never outed Albie ❤️

I just finished the blackout and the Wheatley’s are dead. Allegedly I’m a big no face no case guy and they didn’t find the body l so my alarm bells are ringing. I’m a couple episodes into Stabler being friends with Donnelly and it’s already giving bad news I don’t like it.

Really sad about Sergeant Bell

Like most people here, I’m very sad that OC was cancelled. One of the things that I’m sad to lose is some of the great plot lines related to Elliot’s personal growth and the rest of the Slabler’s as well, though there is some hope via SVU. But one thing I really need to rant about is the loss of Sergeant Bell. I genuinely feel she is one of the best supporting characters I’ve seen in a long time, and her relationship with Stabler was great. I also love SVU but it’s done a shit job with issues of race and LGBTQ issues most of the time. Ayanna’s lived experience and a Black Lesbian cop was (in my opinion) written really well and highlighted some really important issues. I really loved her character- she was written so well, I’m genuinely so upset we won’t see her again. Thats it. That’s my rant.

New Fan!

Finally just started the show yesterday after only watching SVU and the OG cause I was desperately in need of a new show to watch and I’m so mad I didn’t get on the train earlier, also I’m super bummed it’s not coming back cause so far (I’ve only watched through season 1 episode 5) I’m absolutely loving it.

The thing I think I like the most is that this is more of a continuous and linear story rather than the standard: each episode is different format, other than your 2 parters and crossover episodes here and there. That’s definitely helping me care about the characters quicker than I usually do when new ones get introduced. I think the new characters are great, and I loved Dylan McDermott since AHS so he’s a huge highlight for me and I think Wheatley is an amazing villain.I also really love seeing a different side to Stabler; and how he’s dealing with his grief and still work the case in his Stabler way.

Only thing I’m finding challenging is trying to remember the timeline with SVU with the Kathy episodes and the purple magic of it all; but I’ll just have to rewatch those to refresh my memory cause I definitely haven’t seen them in a while.

A specific criminal

As we know, OC is cancelled. Someone I was REALLY hoping to come back was Eamon Murphy. While it's not bad that he was left alive, I think it would have been very interesting if he came back and was killed or arrested, cause the arc was interesting, especially because he was a rival to Bell and Jet, so adding him back to get punishment would have been cool.

Elliot Stabler's fate as a character was determined by the bad "Collective" 2 parter

If not for those 2 needless and idiotic episodes, Organized Crime's season 5 could have 4 episodes dedicated to Joey and Emery and close the story with finesse rather than that sloppy closure we got.

Now, obviously I am not a showrunner, but seriously who the heck thought this relevant to nothing "Collective" story would be fitting in such a short season? Season 3 had room for such nonsense, but in such a tight season? this has no place, let alone value.

Tanner could have been introduced as a counter-terrorism cop investigating hezbollah leads in NYC which may overlap with Redcoat's activity and that's it for including her in the story.

I can imagine the cancellation email being typed from NBC to Wolf Entertainment with "Oh My Darling Clementine" (OC version) playing in the background.
