looking for apartment near a good elementary school

Hello,

My husband and I are searching for a 2-bedroom apartment near a good elementary school for our young child. We're not looking for anything extravagant, just the essentials, such as no roaches, decent property management, and no mold. Our budget is between $1,600 and $1,800. While we realize this is low, we want to explore affordable options before committing to a higher price. We are primarily interested in areas like Lawrenceville, Druid Hills, and Tucker, but we are open to anywhere in the metro area if the schools and price are right.

I’d love to hear about your experiences! What places did you really enjoy, and which ones did you hate?

Thanks
