im back in league this season and so i installed vanguard.
it causes me to randomly tab out during games and sometimes my mouse speed changes. i have my dpi locked.
tho the mouse problem i dont know to 100 percent if its vanguard
any solutions?
its not often but it costs me games.
Every time I try to hit "Find Match", the button greys out and nothing happens. no queue timer either. Can't even launch practice tool or tutorial
Things I have tried: Running both Riot Client and League Client as Admin, Deleting Cache of Both Riot and League, Hextech Repair Tool, Start VGC Service, Port Forwarding, Windows Defender Exception, Inbound/Outbound rules for every League and Riot exe, Fresh install of League, Riot Client, and Vanguard, Using another account, Anything to do with task manager, Syncing Clock, Updating Drivers, DNS Settings, Mobile Hotspot,
Still nothing

165hz monitor
i can get 165fps during lane phase (0-8min) but any skirmishing / teamfighting reduces my fps to a very choppy/laggy feeling 90-110fps. I've tried many things, such as enabling/disabling C-State, fullscreen optimizations, game bar, nvidia overlay off, task manager priority high, etc.
Temperatures on both CPU and GPU are great
Is this just the limit of what my setup can do?
I am quite literally on my knees begging. Please, share with me your potential solutions and I will reply immediately. I'm at a loss for what to do next, other than upgrade my CPU.
Hello, As shown in the video, I've been experiencing this issue since several times per games, its most common in aram but happens alot during laning phasebeen experiencing this since 2024, or roughly since I started playing on my current PC. ha
I've tried a wide range of troubleshooting steps, including:
Performing a completely clean reinstall of the game (removing all files and leftover data).
Running the game with no other applications in the background.
Disabling HDR.
Updating all drivers to the latest versions.
Using NVIDIA-recommended/optimized settings.
Testing both with and without overlays enabled.Testing with and without the software I use to increase game vibrancy.
Unfortunately, the issue still occurs regardless of these changes.Any help, advice, or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to look into this.

I have a good system. Ryzen 5950x, 3070ti, 64gb ram. Recently I've been having a weird fps problem, and nothing seems to fix it. I did everything. Low mouse polling rate, disabled bios c state, high priorities in process lasso for both CPU and GPU, checked all recommended windows settings, and still, in game graphics settings change nothing, I can run on lowest and stutters still happen. Widescreen, 3440*1440, 165 hz refresh rate, vsync and antialiasing enabled. In practice tool I can spam hwei abilities and never a drop. Once I load into a real game, In the first 5 seconds I get a big freeze for like a second or two, and then it just stutters the whole match. It's not unplayable but very distracting. Anyone experienced anything similar?
I just got a new computer (exchanged for the same exact one) and for some reason, this one has my mouse bleeding into the second screen when on borderless. The other one never did that. The only fix I’ve figured out is to make it full screen and then back to borderless. I tried reinstalling and that didn’t do anything either. Any help to fix this would be much appreciated. And it’s only two monitors side by side if that’s important. I checked to make sure there were no gaps between them in display settings. And my frame are dropping pretty badly.
I'm ready to do a full wipe and reinstall of windows at this point. I'm so frustrated with it.
9900x, 5080, 32GB Ram, and I have Expo on set to 6,000. The mobo isn't the one that was advertised. Its a B840 Pro VC WiFi instead of the B650.
UPDATE: Partially fixed!
My issue ended up being a corrupt discord download for the mouse bleeding issue. I uninstalled it, and then went into the Local and Roaming folders and deleted the ones named Discord. I did a restart snd then a fresh install. No more mouse bleed so far!
The FPS issue I have a theory. The client is just trash and the fps limiter in game causes more harm than good. I think if I were to let the game think it’s uncapped but set it to 240 in the NVIDIA Control Panel, it might be more stable. But I’ve read it’s usually better to use the in game limiter. Thoughts on this?
Hello, Ive recently started having an issue, my whole PC just freezes when playing League. I can still hear all audio, and see everything thats going on. Can even talk to friends on discord. But I cant click anything, except task bar which i can click but doesnt do anything. CTRL + ALT + DELETE or ALT + F4 doesnt do anything. Only thing i can do is hard shutdown whole PC and start again.
It usually happens only once per evening, both today and yesterday it was during my second game of the day. I play only Aram Mayhem, and it doesnt happen when playing any other games, just in League. I play on cpu AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and gpu NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
Does anyone experience the same, and maybe found a solution? Grateful for any help
I’m playing League of Legends on my MacBook Pro with two monitors hooked up. My second monitor is on the left side, and when I move my mouse that way while League is open, the cursor barely goes over to the other screen. It feels like the game is kind of grabbing/trapping the mouse at the edge.
I’ve already tried turning off the software mouse setting in League, and I’ve tested both fullscreen and borderless. Same issue either way.
Outside of League, moving between monitors works totally fine.
Anyone know if this is just a Mac/League thing, or is there some setting I’m missing?
Issue started 5 days ago after downloading blitz, where the game would not launch following champ select, and would leave me on the client with reconnect button. Clicking on reconnect would not launch anything.
I have since completely uninstalled blitz, along with a number of other fixes I'll list below. I submitted a ticket to Riot support who went through troubleshooting and attempting to fix the issue, but was unable to resolve the problem and told me they "went ahead and escalated the case with [their] dedicated team", and unfortunately have not heard anything in 4 days.
These are the fixes I've attempted, either found online or direct from riot support:
While attempting to troubleshoot, there was 2 instances where I got a VAN-84 error, but resolved after a simple disconnect/reconnect of my internet. Otherwise it has remained consistent in that the game does not launch at all following champ select.
Hopefully I will hear something back from Riot, but any ideas on how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, I’ve been having an intermittent input lag issue in League of Legends. My spells and chat sometimes respond with a delay after I press the key, even though my FPS stay stable and my ping/MS are normal.
I already tried lowering all settings, reinstalling the game several times, and the issue still happens. It feels similar to other reports I’ve seen from players describing delayed inputs, missed keystrokes, or commands not going through immediately.
Has anyone found a real fix or identified the cause? I’d appreciate any suggestions. It's been many years I play this game this is the first time I have a issue like that. It's unplyable sometimes I can press the button multiples times but nothing is reacting the game work great but my control doesnt work during a time.
it is rare but when it happens i get a crazy lag spike for like a second or two and i fill like my pc is too high end for this to happen and i only have league and chrome on youtube opened (other than staff for periferals like razer, nvidia etc.)

My monitor specifically is 320 Hz but whenever I try to set up an fps limit through Nvidia app or something, the game just teleports me anyway. Is there a limit like 280 or something that doesn't teleport me but is still more than 240? Or do I just have to play on 240?

sometimes i feel that my skills arent applying and i just assume its my mistake but lately i've been noticing that i dont really have a crowd control applied or anything that prevents me from casting, yet i cant properly cast while doing some intense teamfighting. What made me realize that there were something more going on is when i started to disconnect for less than a second (the popup of reconnection appeared for less than a second at the same time i die)
other than that i never get a disconnection, fps are constant capped at 144, i have a decent ethernet cable and optic fiber, the ping is also very stable to servers, 8 ms to google, 25 ms displayed on game
This also isnt a thing that always happen, lets say i get this kind of issue like one in ten matches, and doesnt happen on every tf, also, otherwise the game would be completely unplayable
When is Riot Games going to fix this input lag that the game has??? It's impossible that they haven't addressed this publicly... I see so many posts here and no one from Riot has said anything about it. This game is garbage... this client is garbage... this company is garbage.
Every year the fps drops are getting worse and worse. I have tried everything that riot includes on their page about low fps but nothing works. I have tried lowering mouse polling rate to re installing drivers/windows to changing windows setting and bios settings.
With the new patch the fps drops have gotten noticably worse and a new problem showed up. While playing my champ stops moving becoming completely unresponsive but everyone is moving fine. So its not packet loss or lag , the character just stops.

I am trying to get into league and have been experiencing constant stuttering even after trying many fixes I have seen online. I am unsure what exactly the problem is.
Hallo there, i just bought a new laptop Asus strix G18 5080 and ultra 9. I play on a 2k resolution 144hz, and my fps starting the game with 300 -400, but when the minions respawn and the game starts it drops to 100-120 max with gpu usage of 13 -15%. Why i'm having thie behavior and what to do?
