Questions on the B10

I have just ordered the B10, and I keep reading about how annoying the bings and bongs are, any owners confirm this? Can you turn it off easily?

Also, the internal camera, can you block this to avoid more beeping and bonging?

Does c10 not have dual climate control?

How do you spilt the heating left and right side of cabin. I can’t work that out on our new c10 . You change temp on one side (drivers side) say 19 degree to 25 and the passenger side changes withnit. I can’t for the life of me work out why they are dual control in a 2026 car

Put a deposit on a B05 here in Australia

They only officially announced pricing on Thursday, dealer reckons September delivery for pre-sales.

I drove the other RWD hatch options. MG4 drives well but inside it’s pretty dated even with the MY26 refresh, and the infotainment system isn’t great, feels like an ICE system that’s a few years old. The B05 beats it in pretty much every category on paper.

Zeekr X is OK, software seems similar to the Leapmotor but it’s much more expensive. Same with the Volvo EX30, but the Volvo has no instrument array screen which I hate, and it’s more expensive than the Zeekr.

B03X - Panoramic Sunroof in Europe

Hey everyone,

I'm really interested in the new B03X, but I haven't been able to find any clear information on whether it will be delivered with a panoramic sunroof. The official product images seem to contradict each other – some show it, others don't.

Does anyone know if the panoramic sunroof will be available on the B03X, or perhaps offered as an option?

AC Rearseats

Hi, i'm sitting here in my new C10 in the middle of a heatwave and am wondering if and how the AC and fan in the rear are working and how i can get suffienct airflow and cold air out if the vents, atm it's more or less underwhelming and the vents in the rear aren't even that small. any info or help would be very welcome.

Intelligent scenario - changing possible?

So I have had my C10 for about a month and I'm mostly loving it. It was a car used for test drives so it comes with different settings and I had to remove about 15 Bluetooth connections. What I don't love though is the "intelligent scenario" (intelligentes Szenario). Mostly for a pathetic reason (it skips several songs every time I open the door), but I still would love to change it but seem too stupid to find the setting, and I'm not sure I want to factory reset.

Can anyone help? Thanks!!

Leapmotor App doesn’t work

Hey,

It seems like the Leapmotor App isn’t working for me and my partner for like 2-3 days. It says the account doesn’t exist or the password‘s wrong, but password reset works.
Does anyone experience the same?

B10 Dashcam Experience and Recommendations: Built-In vs External

Hi all, as per title. I'm waiting for delivery of my B10. Would like to hear existing owners' experience, thoughts and recommendations on dashcam usage with this car.

Questions

In short, to B10 owners (or other Leapmotors with a similar setup):

  • Did you install an external dashcam (front and rear) or stick with the built-in one? Why?
  • If built-in:
    • How have you found the quality? Have you found it adequate?
    • Has the lack of recording while the car is parked or switched off been a problem in practice? Or is this something that sounds good to have up front, but is never really needed in the long run?
  • If external:
    • Did you have it hardwired, or plugged into the 12V charger?
    • How difficult or straightforward was the installation process?
    • If hardwired, has it caused any warranty issues?

Thoughts So Far

I understand that the car comes with a built-in dashcam utilising the front, rear, left and right cameras. However:

  • AFAIK, for units outside China (where I am, and I presume most of us here are too), there is no sentry/sentinel mode, so it does not record when the car is parked and switched off.
  • From videos I've seen, the cameras appear to use fisheye lenses.
  • Some videos and forum posts I have come across (example) suggest that the camera resolution is not great, or at any rate, markedly inferior to an external dashcam from a dedicated dashcam company.

An external dashcam plugged into the 12V socket would solve the camera angle and resolution issues. Installation would simply involve tucking the dashcam's wiring into the car's seals, meaning no messing with the car's own wiring - and hence no risk at all of warranty issues.

An external dashcam hardwired into the car would solve both the camera angle and resolution issues, and would also record even when the car is turned off, either constantly or when motion is detected. However, the hardwiring may involve warranty considerations, and I have read from some online that it can drain the car's own battery. Not sure how true or common this is, and how far it applies to EVs as opposed to ICE cars.

Considerations

My main considerations are as follows:

  • Having video evidence of adequate quality to back me up in case I get into accidents. This is the top priority.
  • Having video evidence of any damage done to the car while parked would be useful too, although I recognise the practical difficulties in going after someone who has fled the scene in my absence. So this is a consideration too, but perhaps secondary.
  • Cost is not an issue. Dashcams and labour for installing them (if I choose to get it done in a workshop rather than DIY) where I am are not prohibitively expensive.
  • Preserving the car's warranty is a must. I would also like to avoid any 'side effects' on the car which may result from installing an external dashcam.

PS Apologies up front for any basic questions. I have never used or dealt with a dashcam before, and, coming from a 20+ y/o ICE hand-me-down, have not so far found myself ever needing one (touchwood). I did ask my Leapmotor SA when placing my order about the possibility of installing an external dashcam. His response was that the car already had one, so an external one was unnecessary. Up to then I had focused my research on more prominent aspects of the car, so I simply took his answer at face value, not realising that there were various other dashcam considerations beyond just whether one was present.

Leapmotor B10 – Unable to switch 360° camera views while reversing (does anyone else have this issue?)

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing something on my Leapmotor B10 and I’d like to know if anyone else has the same behavior or if there’s a setting I’m missing.

The car comes with 360° cameras, and I know the system is capable of showing different camera angles. However, whenever I put the car into reverse, it automatically opens only the rear camera view (together with the parking sensors), but I can’t find any way to manually switch to the side cameras or wheel-side views.

This becomes an issue when leaving my garage: there’s a pillar very close to the side of the car, and during the maneuver, it would be really helpful to switch to the side camera/wheel view to understand the distance and avoid hitting it.

A few questions for other B10 owners:

  • Does your car also lock you into the rear camera while reversing?
  • Is there any setting that allows switching between camera views?
  • Did any OTA update change this behavior?
  • Is there any gesture on the screen (tap on the 360 view, swipe, etc.) to manually select another camera angle?

Since the car already includes a surround / 360° camera system, I expected to have access to different viewpoints during low-speed maneuvers.
