I saw a B05 Lafa while hiking the tiger leaping gorge in Yunnan. I think it’s very nice looking and the size is compact like a VW Golf

Volkswagen ID.3 Neo alternatives: the Chinese EVs trying to win over European hatchback buyers

The ID.3 Neo is still a solid all-rounder in Europe, but the competition has shifted fast. Chinese EVs like the Atto 3, Leapmotor B05 or MG4 now cover pretty much every angle of this segment.

Android auto

I've bought a C10 and picking it up this week (in the UK) - when I went for a test drive and spoke to the dealer they said that the new cars now come with Android auto but I keep seeing conflicting information online, does anyone know if this is sorted in the 2026 model? The test drive was in an older model so couldn't verify

Question: In stock fulfilment time UK?

I ordered a C10 a week ago that was in stock, meaning it was at the dock

Since then I have called the dealership many times, they don’t know when they will receive it. They said it could be anytime in the next few weeks.

When can I expect it?

C10 App : A/C control

The Leapmotor app always tells me the A/C is on. When I turn it off in the app it just turns straight back on.

Anyone had this issue?

Screen Mirror disabled when driving

Ok, so what the heck? They added screen mirroring to the C10 so you can use Google maps to navigate and have now disabled it while driving.

What?

[OC] Chinese EV Manufacturers Now Building Cars in Europe: Here Is the Full Picture

Chinese EV makers are starting to build more of their cars in Europe instead of just exporting them from China.

BYD, Xpeng, GAC Aion, Chery and Leapmotor already have or are setting up production in Hungary, Austria and Spain, mostly because of EU tariffs on Chinese-made EVs.

It’s still a mix at the moment. Some factories are mainly assembling imported parts from China, while others are starting to bring in local suppliers and production processes.

[OC] Leapmotor Prices in Germany: What Subsidies Really Mean for the Final Cost

Leapmotor is currently running a pretty aggressive leasing promotion in Germany. The T03 starts from €49/month, and the B10 is advertised from €149/month.

On paper, those prices look extremely low for brand new EVs, but there’s a catch. Those prices assume you qualify for the full German EV subsidy and that the leasing setup lines up exactly as advertised. If not, the real monthly cost can end up quite a bit higher.
