Australian Driving Licence Test – Resources?

Hi! I’m moving to Australia as an international student and I’ll have a Bangladeshi driving licence. I’m trying to understand what tests I’ll need to take to get an Australian licence.

Could anyone share PDFs, question banks, mock tests, or study materials for the written/knowledge test and practical driving test? Also, what topics/questions should I expect?

Please mention your state (NSW/VIC/QLD etc.) if possible. Any recent experience would be really helpful. Thanks! 🙏

My test is in 3 weeks do I need instructor

I failed my first test in Birmingham — had intensive/private lessons with an instructor beforehand around 40 hours to 46 hours of lessons but failed mainly on a serious fault for clearance (plus some minors). I’ve since moved and my retest is booked for 12th September in Gillingham, Kent.

My sister lives nearby and has a car — she’s been teaching me informally. I’m trying to decide between two options:

**1.**	Get a proper instructor again for lessons in the run-up to the test (probably in a dual-control car), or
**2.**	Keep practicing in my sister’s car and just take the test in her car

Has anyone taken their test in a family member’s car rather than an instructor’s? Any pros/cons I should think about insurance, dual controls, familiarity with the car vs. exam-specific prep? Failing on clearance last time makes me think I need more structured practice on that specific skill, so open to advice either way.

Winchester driving test tomorrow at 10am. Any last-minute route tips?

If anyone knows the Winchester test routes, I’d really appreciate any last-minute tips especially tricky roundabouts, junctions, lane changes or places where people commonly make mistakes.

Also, if you know any useful YouTube videos showing Winchester test routes or the difficult roundabouts, please share them. That would be really helpful tonight.

And yes, first thing tomorrow morning before test is already there banana 🍌😂

What’s one UK driving theory rule you always forget?

I’m currently revising for the UK Driving Theory Test and I’ve noticed that some of the rules are surprisingly easy to mix up.
For me, stopping distances and road markings are probably the trickiest.
What rule do you always forget or find confusing?
I’d love to hear your tips 👇
