What do you think the next big non-Batmobile Batman set will be?
Now that’s been leaked that we’re getting an awesome daily planet set next year. Do you guys think we will get a Wayne Manor? or what would you guys predict the next big Batman set would be ? not including Batmobiles
I just finished my Daily Planet Modular Building MOC and am Super happy with how it turned out!
Here is my Daily Planet Modular Building MOC. As a big fan of the Superhero Modular Buildings, and my favorite Superhero being Superman, I knew I had to take a crack at this iconic structure.
This seven-floored structure sits on a 32-stud baseplate and rises to 31.8 inches tall. It is 6085 pieces, and all the interiors are fully tiled off and detailed. There are six interiors: the Lobby, Reporter's Bullpen, the Newspaper Printing Room, a Conference Room, Perry White's Office, and a Maintenance Closet.
As soon as LEGO announced last year's Arkham Asylum (76300) Modular Building, I knew they had opened the door to the Daily Planet after incredible skyscrapers like the Daily Bugle (76178) and Avengers Tower (76269). I hope the easter egg of the poster of the Daily Planet in the jail cell turns into a real set, but I decided to make my own rendition in the meantime. I finished designing this MOC in February of this year, but I am just getting around to making the instructions for it.
This is directly inspired by the Superman (2025) movie starring David Corenswet, directed by James Gunn, and DC Comics, as well as the AT&T Huron Road Building in Cleveland, Ohio, which has long been believed by Superman fans to have inspired Siegel and Shuster for the Daily Planet, following its beautiful Art Deco design.
Superman has been my favorite Superhero since I was a kid, and I am very proud of my rendition of the building. I was very happy with last year's film and its rendition of the Planet, and I can't wait for Man of Tomorrow! Please let me know what you think. This has really been a labor of love.
LEGO Batman’s Titan BAT Mech
Body is based on @demon1408’s alternate build for Cole’s titan dragon mech and wings are based on @Mechalaro’s wing upgrade for that same set. All with my own Batman twist. Thoughts? Suggestions? I’m thinking a Giant batarang lol
Just Curious: Why Is There So Many Listings for the 2007 Bane Head but None for the Torso?
I'm just curious as to why there never seems to be a torso available to pair with the head. Is it a factory thing?
Today’s arrivals!
After three books got canceled by Walmart one by Amazon and one by Barnes & Noble. It finally arrived from Books A Million. Plus this sick set I got on Vinted for 50$
The Labyrinth
“November 3rd,
Three people have gone missing over the last two weeks, now a fourth person has been reported missing. A banker named Albert Walsh. One witness says they saw him running down the street like a mad man and going on how ‘they’ were chasing him. The witness said they only saw Albert, no one chasing him. If you’re not careful this city will do that to you.
I went down the alley Albert ran down before he vanished. At first it was just another ordinary, trash filled alley. But that’s when something caught my eye. There was a passage way leading down under the street. The passage led to a long hallway of repeating brick walls. Winding, turning, repeating, never ending. A popular internet theory tells of never ending rooms and corridors like this, but this didn’t feel like an internet production. It became all too real too fast.
Lying in the middle of the floor down a passage, was one of Jokers cards. Was this his doing? Is he behind the disappearances? Is he still actually in Arkham or did he somehow escape? Further in the labyrinth was a shrine like area, full of things from MY life, my career. Two wedding rings with roses left on the ground. A newspaper article from when Superman and I foiled one of Luther’s plots. A wanted poster of Joker. Waylon’s case file from his rampage. And a comic book made to tell the adventures of my first year as the Batman. Who left this behind? How do they know this much about the Batman?
I’ve been up for four days straight. Going from board meetings to the gutters of Gotham, back to the top with more meetings and fundraisers just to have it washed in dirt and blood once the sun goes down. Bruce is tired and wants to sleep, but the city needs me. Despite being tired, I hear whispers around the corners but the halls are empty. I’m being watched but there are no eyes around. Whoever is watching knows I know they’re there.
Whoever they are, they know who Bruce Wayne is, who the Batman is. At the end of final, dead end hallway, hanging on the wall was something very dear to me. But they used it as a weapon of fear. A fear I’ve not felt since that fateful night. Hanging on the wall was a picture of my mother and father….”

The Nightwings + rogues gallery, c. 1942
I've been working on this AU for a little while now. I guess this is "Year One" in a series of figbarfs I want to do that covers the period up to about 1950. These are the short backstories of various individuals that my pre-Batman Bruce Wayne encountered during his tour of wartime Europe.
The Nightwings
Organised by Commander Alfred Pennyworth of the SAS, the Nightwings were an elite black-ops squad comprised of hand-picked recruits who struck deep into Axis territory.
- Bruce Wayne - Field operative. The scion of wealthy Gotham City industrialists, 18-year-old Bruce Wayne was sent to Europe by his parents in a last-ditch attempt to curb his increasingly delinquent behavior. Bruce turned out to be an excellent combatant, and was drafted into the Nightwings by the personal appointment of Alfred Pennyworth.
- Joe Rigger - Explosives and demolition expert. The aptly-named Rigger had orchestrated arson and bombing attacks on behalf of London anarchists prior to joining the anti-fascist struggle in mainland Europe.
- Alfred Pennyworth - Commander of the Nightwings. Pennyworth was a veteran of the First World War who became adept in assymetric and urban warfare.
- "Le Chat" - Saboteur and extraction specialist. "Le Chat" was known for using a variety of plausible aliases, with the most likely being French-American socialite Selina Kyle who fled during the Occupation and was believed to be bankrolling the Resistance through high-profile capers.
- Noah Kutler - Codebreaker. Kutler joined British intelligence and trained under "signalman" Phil Cobb prior to the latter's assassination by the Twins (see Rogues Gallery). Kutler developed a portable codebreaking device which proved invaluable on field missions.
The Rogues Gallery
- Flagman - Richard Flag Jr. was an amoral mercenary who would lend his services to any nation for the right price. Despite claiming to be staunchly apolitical, the flags most frequently flown by the Flagman belonged to the Axis powers.
- The Twins - Mysterious Japanese assassins who carried out hits on high-profile Allied figures across Europe and the United States - including an attempt on the life of President Lionel Luthor. They were believed to be a single individual until their capture in occupied France.
- ARKHEIM - The three leaders of the Arkheim Science Division: Hugo Strang, Dragon King, and Karl Hellfern. Based out of the city of Bludhafen, the Arkheim Division was a consortium of German and Japanese scientists who conducted chemical weapons testing and metahuman experimentation. Hugo Strang was particularly obsessed with locating a substance known as "Lazarus", said to have mystical properties and capable of rejuvenating the injured and deceased.
- Edmund Dorrance - A heavyweight boxer and spokesman for the British Union of Fascists who moved to Germany shortly after the war began. Dorrance operated as muscle for Arkheim and was subject to Strang and Hellfern's experiments in metahuman genetics.
- Talia al Ghul - Although the League of Shadows cult was ostensibly working with the Allies, their leader R'as al Ghul saw Europe and the USA as untenable hotbeds of fascism and decadence to be destroyed in an apocalyptic event known as "No-Man's Land". Just what this cataclysm was to entail remains unclear. Talia, the daughter of R'as, led the League's assassins in combat and was one of the few cult members to know the location of its long-coveted "Lazarus pits".

Batman 2006 series from lego shop at home
Screenshot taken from 2006 on Lego shop at home. I think it was taken right after when the batman series came out, hence the “no list price” and “can’t add to cart”. Who knows they will be so high in values in the future?
