I want to learn coding, run simulations and stuff

This is to share my experience of recent purchase from u/Willing_Front_2397.

After my 7 years old laptop died on me, I was looking to get a laptop for my work.

After following r/Lestic for a while and seeing the work of u/Willing_Front_2397, I immediately texted him.

He replied the next day. After listening to my use case we both mutually decided on LATITUDE 5420. Within a week he informed me he has the product ready.

We then connected on a video call. u/Willing_Front_2397 explained me everything in detail. He showed each and every aspect of the hardware and how everything was functioning. That was supper assuring for me.

I said I want the product without any hesitation. He immediately booked the product for a speed post through DTDC and shared me the tracking. He even promised me 200 days warranty.

It took a week for it to get delievered. I got it 3 days back.

This is my review after using the product for 3 days.

PROS :

The laptop was super snappy even on windows.

After I slapped linux on it. It is even better now.

I checked everything, the SSD, battery, display, charger, speakers and camera. Everything was in excellent condition just as u/Willing_Front_2397 showcased in the video call.

The battery life is insane. I showed it in the pics attached. The type C charging works as expected.

The display is great and touchscreen works well.

All the ports work well.

There is an empty RAM slot as well. I can upgrade upto 32 GB RAM.

I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience.

CONS :

Honestly there is nothing to complain about. If I really have to nitpick there is a minor dent on it which I do not mind at all.

Before making sales at a fast pace , I preferred to fix some couple of issues today which arised in T14 and x1 which were sold couple months back as these issues were in pipeline for almost a week and it can be frustrating for the customers who bought in past so those fixes has been done successfully, nothing fancy only fan replacement in one X1 and repasting as well as fan cleaning of T14 as customer was using it on bed 🤪
