Do I think they’re perfect? No.

Are they the lesser of two evils (driving/Ubers/SUVs, having your own bike knicked etc.) ? Probably, I think.

I’m looking to move to Leyton, and am looking at rooms in the area south of the Leyton tube station close to the Leyton High Road (area around Drapers Field and Downsell Road) - from what I gather, the high road is a bit more quiet in that stretch of the road and am a bit concerned about it being in an isolated area, particularly at night. how safe would this area be around 11pm or so?
