The boss that largely inspired my son’s name
His mum assumes I got it from the play, she’s about 30% correct 😅

I've even tried throwing Thermite. and yes I'm trying to parry it but how can I when theres the Eldest, second one is jumping on me and 3. is annoying me af xd.. im lost there and idk what to do tbh..
I was originally not gonna blow the 70 and wait for the physical edition but i wanted to replay it again on switch 2 and just wow this is a crazy port job. Handheld mode in balanced looks amazing performance mode in that is super rough but Balanced
almost looks like 60 with VRR. and in docked mode it looks even better. quality mode in docked is a bit rough performance wise but visually holy crap this rivals my pc at high settings how did they do this? I'll be playing this port a ton in handheld i'm having alot of fun
I’m on Ng+ 1 and am looking for a fun build to use, I’m currently level 128 and my stats are all over the place. The game is feeling a little stale with my current build (crit build using proof of humanity) so I wanna try something new, if anyone has any suggestions that’d be great!!
I just bought the game and the DLC after completing the base game on Xbox game pass months ago. I’m currently going through the game on a fresh save to re-familiarise myself and am coming up on the dlc entrance.
My question is if i should go straight in or wait a but and progress further; perhaps get more krat supply boxes? Or just build up a supply of upgrade materials in my inventory?
Any help (without spoilers) would be appreciated.
Hannibal would be fed the FUCK up with Arlecchino's cackling nonsense within 5 minutes, but I do think he would appreciate his artistic flair (like he did with the Eye of God guy in season 2)
I beat him a little over a week ago... I spent about 8 hours fighting him. So I took a deep breath and pushed forward.
And then I finally beat him 😭♥️
I was so proud of myself hahahaha
This game was my first souls like and I really enjoyed it and now just wondering what to play next I really enjoyed the story and I wanna play bloodborne but don’t have a play station so I’m looking for other suggestions
i keep forgetting to use my legion arm during fights and then realize i probably could have gotten more out of it. which one do you use the most, and what makes it useful for you?
Every other day I see posts about that mad clown puppet... Gotta keep it moving.
Laxasia Difficulty 5 - No hit Attempt
failed at the stupidest way, out of bushes shield push, dont know why i didnt react in time and parry it.-
Twodragon - Rosemonards-sword Finisher
Arm of god - Conquers - extreme modification - Human dmg - Strategist amulets
No hit coming VERY SOON! Stay tuned
I know I can lower the difficulty setting (I'm on medium)
I know I can enable the spirit for help.
But yesterday I saw the third brother for the first time.
And that's progress, which is nice
Edit: managed to beat them, advice on focusing to break his weapon first was the best. Also, I did NOT expect I would feel bad for the brothers
This is a totally random post I know, but often it doesn't even occur to me that certain weapons in video games are based on real weapons. On holiday in Venice, Italy ive just seen a version of the LoP gunblade in a Museum from the 16th century. Apparently these were forbidden "combination weapons" or 'trick weapons' if you will lol outlawed for being too dastardly 😆
Hope a few of you might find this interesting like I did! (I also saw a real life flamberge, zweihander and a 16th century bloodborne style gatling gun!).
Title. I just wanted to know if starting a new game will overwrite my current save, or will I be able to start a new save, accessing a different save slot. If it's the latter, how do I do that?
Laxasia Difficulty 4 - No hit - Twodragon - Rosemonards-sword,

Off to D5 now, coming soon
Without going into specific details to avoid spoilers here, I decided to put a pause on finishing the main game to start the DLC because I wanted the Pale Knight weapon.
I've been playing a motivity build and up until this fight, I've generally done fairly well for being my first playthrough. I'm far from new to the genre as a whole. In fact, I'd say I'm a veteran. But I'm all the same new to Lies of P. Of course I had to play on Legendary Stalker mode as a result. And while the game has been challenging, it's never felt too difficult for me. But this fight made me question that a bit.
I've died to a few bosses a handful of times previously. But I usually discovered some sort of "trick" to beating them. Which really translates to remembering to utilize all of my tools, like my Legion arms, throwables, etc. I died to the last major boss before this one (Veronique) 5-6 times until I remembered to really utilize my Puppet String. Once I did that I annihilated her.
But not this boss. This boss beat me 22 times. And that's AFTER I resorted to calling in the spectre. I tried a few times before that without it. It was the first fight to make me legitimately HAVE to utilize its weakness and the spectre. And even then, I still barely got him.
I started using my normal weapon, which has been the Live Puppet Axe head on the Krat Police Baton handle. It just felt too slow for this fight though. I learned that what I really needed to do was break the crystals on his hand and forehead, ok. Except...it takes forever to do so.
So when I finally beat the boss and got my Pale Knight I was left conflicted. On one hand, I haven't been taxed this hard in a Souls game since my initial run through the Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne. Which I ended up doing on NG+5. And it's rewarding, of course.
But on the other, this boss had me feeling hopeless after about the hour and a half mark of one failure after another.
I don't mind the overall difficulty and how hard it hits. What I think I have an issue with is how goddamned tanky and spongy it is. It felt a bit much. That kind of seems to be a running theme in this DLC. They artificially inflate the difficulty through just juicing the hell out of the enemies health. Not a huge fan of that design. I think in comparison the base game has felt a LOT better balanced as a whole.
Either way, glad it's done. Don't look forward to fighting the bastard again in subsequent playthroughs.
