But I think this would be awesome. I wish I knew somebody who made bespoke light savers where you could attach a blade and a heavy electronics and and stuff that could make one

Lightsaber won‘t work

Hey everybody.

I ordered the Mandalorian NeoPixel Saber from NSabers. It arrived yesterday and all was fine. I charged it and tested all functions. Today i wanted to give it a proper test and accidantly dropped it from like 2ft. Now it won‘t turn on and when i put the charging cable in ot makes a weird clicking noise. If i take the SD out the noise stops bit the blade starts flickering before turning off again. No matter what i do it won‘t turn back on. Took out the battery, checked the cables and all looks fine. Im really sad and angry cause i paid almost 300€ with shipping. Can anyone help or had the same issue?

HELP NEEDED - Weathered my QV Replica! (Read desc)

I bought this Quinlan Vos replica neopixel (my first of 2 sabers) because i loved the spinning crystal and the price was super low, but i didn't like the design as a whole, because aside from the crystal it lacked detail. So, I did some research, and decided to weather my hilt. I used black spray paint on the metal pieces, then scraped it off with sandpaper, added some notches around the chamber, and dabbed on some brown paint as rust. I'm very happy with how it turned out, but here's where help is needed.

I would like to wrap the handle in some tattered cloth, kind of like Boone Kestis's and Rey *ahem* Palpatine's hilts (photos attatched). However, I am unsure of what materials to use.

So, council of the esteemed lightsabers subreddit, what fabrics do you recommen? Anything I can order off of amazon or something would be fine.

Another Finished 3d Printed MSS Saber and a Custom Kyber Crystal Emitter Plug

Here's my newest design. I call this one Elegance. I ran into an issue on this one where the thinner walls on the concave neck piece was allowing the light to shine through the body even at 100% infill. To fix this, I redesigned all the emitters and necks that I've designed so far. Each neck now has a matching black insert that blocks the light from shining through. The insert is invisible from the outside of the saber and doesnt interfere with the blade or core. Every part is still fully interchangable.

The crystal emitter plug was printed with translucent jade colored filament with concentric infill, which makes for a pretty cool effect when you use a contrasting blade color.

NSABERS inquiry

I just ordered a single Tano SE from nsabers, and it arrives in two weeks, what is the feedback y’all got on the company, the Tano SE has some legit videos on YouTube.
I see people recommend damiensabers a lot, but their cheapest Ahsoka saber is 300 for a single one, and I ordered the nsabers one for 160.

Secure-A-Key Belt clip

If anyone is looking for a new clip for their saber I found these on sale for $4 on Amazon, they work fantastic and are a lot cheaper than some alternatives, I picked up 3 just in case I lose some lol (I am in no way affiliated with whomever is selling these) i understand this Might need to be posted in the BST Reddit but i figured the larger community might be interested too

Customized Yan Qing saber

Just got gifted my first ever lightsaber, but it felt a little too minimalist for me, so I gave it a custom handle wrapping and belt attachment point/hand-stop. Tell me your thoughts!

Just some spinning :)

I'm pretty new to spinning/flourishes and stuff but I have been going to my sabers dueling club for a couple of months or so. the community is amazing and I have been working on a low-budget jedi tunic which i may post somewhere at a later date

Assistance required - lightsaber core wont switch on.

Hiya there. I have had this lightsaber for three years and replaced the core last year. Today I noticed that when I inserted the charging cable the blue light for power came on but it did not audibly state 'charging' like it normally does. After three hours of charging it will not switch on, even when plugged in. I have taken the battery out and waited for a minute before inserting it again. Now the charging light does not switch on when i plug it in.

Have I really badly messed this up? I think it might be the rechargable battery being knackered. I really hope the core isn't broken as i am no longer under warranty and dont have the money for a new neo pixel one. Any advice would be appreciated.

Those ones pretty cool!

Made this Cal ketsis inspired fidget sabre for a customer. Its approximately half size, with a few variations from the original design. Made from Surgical titanium, and 3 colour Mokume. (Plus a small amount of glow) Just need to build a suitable stand , and it'll be on its way across the pond !

The next saber in my 3d printed Modular Saber System and a couple of add-on parts

A lot of y'all will recognize this one. It's based off of Revan's Fallen lightsaber, and is aptly named Fallen. The parts are compatible with the other sabers I've made and Xeno3 cores. I'm not 100% happy with how this one turned out. Lots of little imperfections left over on the finish from the supports while printing. Which is easily fixed. But the light shines through the body of the neck and emitter even at 100% infill. So I'm gonna have to paint the inside of those parts or redesign them with thicker walls. I also decided to show a couple of the add-on parts I've designed for the MSS. Covers for the charge port and switch hole, for those who dont want to use electronics and just want to put their sabers on a shelf. Last pic is my DamienSabers Fallen Revan with an emitter plug that you can use to protect your rgb lens or pixel connections, or just to finish out a display saber to make it look more complete. The emitter plug works with any saber that uses 1" blades.

Thanks for looking

I've been working on a modular 3d printed lightsaber system.

The system is designed so that all parts are interchangeable and can be used with or without modern electronics cores. I've designed a few themed complete sabers and several individual parts so that people can mix and match their parts to create their own custom lightsaber. Some of the themed sabers are based on popular designs from the movies and video games, others are just stuff I came up with. Ive also made several accessories, like stands, kyber crystals, dummy buttons, greebles, and blade plugs. I'm currently doing a lot of test prints to ensure fitment and work out any small details. This is the first complete saber. I call it The Guardian.

Seeking Recommendations for Blade Carrying Bag

I'm preparing for NYCC in October and I'd like to bring my lightsaber as well as a blade or two, so I'm looking for a discreet carrying bag just for the blades. I had one ages ago but it got lost during a move. The blades would be around 32" each, one Neopixel, one baselit with a converter puck. Does anybody here have any recommendations for a good, durable, affordable bag?

Identify the hilt

I’ve had this light saber for about 12 years and it will not turn on anymore and I don’t know what brand it is or if there’s a way to fix it
