First proffie 89saber, this is an anakin ep3 saber how do i remove the sd card without tweezers?? the board is stuck in place and doesnt move as well

also how do i connect a cable to the proffie board? the board is situated where i cant cleanly attach a cable for data transfer, any help or video tutorials would be great thanks

Yes I still have it yes I still use it daily and I still love it

I work in an industrial environment so I just kinda collected stuff to see if I could make my own saber hilt.

Well this is what I came up with.

No matter what color I change the blade, I always get this weird glitch of colors at the top.

I made sure the prongs are making full contact at the bottom of the blade and still no difference.

Just thought this was cool and I'd share it. I wanted to make a functional(ish) saber that had a cool hilt and the cheapest I could find was an Amazon saber. I edited a 3d model of Anakin's hilt to fit over the amazon hilt and then use the preexisting bolts to hold it on. This is just a prototype but i think it's pretty cool.

Ok, so I did this review on the basis that I love the character and have read over the years here and there how Exar was the GOAT and lots of people saying his saber was their Grail. But while I did the review and all (not putting the link here, if you wanna see it you can find the channel on my profile) I genuinely want to have a show of hands to see who actually considered him the GOAT (or one of the goats anyway) and see how many here have his saber as a Grail, because I had read that all around the internet over the years, but it's a whole different thing to point blank ask folk.

So what do people think? Is his lightsaber on your grail list and was Exar Kun the goat?

This is actually a handle off of a Victor Rien's propane cutting torch with the gas tubes and guts removed. We replaced one at work awhile back and I've became obsessed with neopixel and proffie and thought it would be awesome to use this in a graflex style build. It measure 7.5 inches(probably going to shorten it a bit) and 1.12 inner diameter Got a 1.1 universal empty chassis core(saberbay) on the way aswell and am super excited to engineer my own custom saber!

Wanted to go for a more sleek theme, but I also added the curved hilt because come on, It looks sick.

I also imagine because of a hand wheel, I would adjust the amount of power the device is able to emit therefore adjusting the length of blade without needing another crystal (unlike Vaders Sabre which had two crystals)

Edet: I know I accidentally made it look like a blaster, my bad.

This is my collection as it currently stands, but I am constantly tinkering with and changing my sabers, swapping out parts, and rearranging them. Does anyone else do this? Its one of the blessings/curses of building with mostly VHC parts.

Regardless, instead of just posting my collection, I thought I'd do something different and put together a little logic puzzle using my collection as the visual aid. I figured some of you might get a kick out of it given the considerable overlap between geek/nerds and lightsaber enthusiasts. The goal is to apply deductive reasoning to the hints to find out which saber is the Baselit.

Hints:

I have eight cores total, including five Xeno3 cores, two Proffie cores, and one GHv4 core. But the saberstaff labeled saber #8 has two cores of the same type, leaving one hilt as an Empty saber. Therefore there are four Xeno3 sabers, two Proffie sabers, and one GHv4 saber. The Baselit saber has a Xeno3 core, and is next to the Empty saber. The Baselit is not next to a Proffie or GHv4 saber.

Any saber that has a visible LGT style button is surely not empty, but all my cores (Xeno3, GHv4, and Proffie) have LGT style buttons whether they are visible in the picture or not.

The Proffie sabers are labeled with odd numbers. One Proffie saber is next to the GHv4, the other has a crossguard.

None of the Xeno3 sabers are unweathered. None of the Xeno3 sabers have a crossguard, although one does have a tsuba. There are no Xeno3 sabers that are bigger than the saber to their right.

The GHv4 saber is smaller than the saber to its right, and about the same size as the saber to its left. The GHv4 is labeled with an even number.

The empty saber is weathered, shrouded, and labeled with an odd number.

Which is the Baselit saber?

Facts that may not be clear from the photo:

Sabers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 are shrouded.

Sabers 1 and 7 are unweathered.

Saber 4 is the smallest.

Sabers 5 and 6 are about the same size, and are bigger than 4.

Sabers 1, 2, and 7 are about the same size, and are bigger than 5 and 6.

Saber 3 is bigger than sabers 1, 2, and 7.

Saber 8 is the biggest.

Sabers 1, 4, and 8 have visible LGT style buttons.

Bonus Hint for those of you who can discern VHC parts from ASP parts: Of the ASP sabers, one is a GHv4, the other is a Xenopixel.
