Lily Allen Night 2 Dublin

As someone who loves pop, the theatre and other people's business, I could not have asked for more from this show. I knew it was going to be good but it blew me away, what a triumph!!

West End Girl is worth seeing it live

I went to the Dublin concert. I bought the tickets literally yesterday and I'm not going to be hyperbolic saying it's the best gig I've ever been, but the quality of the album is so good it's worth seeing it live. I gotta respect the artistic decision of the whole tour being like this, showcasing the new album and the creativity of the opening being the classic hits. I feel like most people want artists to be bold and try different things, and then complain when they do exactly that. Concert was superb, people knew all the songs so the concept is working even if it's risky.

O2 tonight: WOW

Sometimes the stars align and everything just falls perfectly into place. Today was one of those days… going to the O2 to see Lily Allen for the first time in probably 18 or 19 years.

She was (FUCKING) sensational – the best gig I've been to for a good 15 years. The staging was incredible, and the performance was utterly heart-rending. I cried for a good three-quarters of it, and I definitely wasn't the only one. I did not have weeping throughout this gig on my bingo card for the day, but the tears flowed freely, but it felt strangely liberating.

Lily looked so vulnerable up on that stage and whether she was acting or these are real emotions that she’s expressing , it just all felt so raw and real. She wasn't just singing for her; she was singing for all of us … for anyone who's ever been unceremoniously dumped, cheated on, or had their heart broken. It was raw, honest, funny, devastating, and completely unforgettable.

Lily, if you’re reading this (I don’t know if you do social media anymore or search yourself) I just want to express my gratitude to you for making such an important record and then performing it so fucking well. You’re a fucking legend, but I can see that you’re still in pain, so I hope that you’re getting the help that you need.

Is DH in Dublin?

A restaurant in Dublin posted this today, the first of Lily's two nights in the 3Arena. It might be an old pic from when DH was filming in Wicklow a few months ago. What do we think?

Edit: Typo

Insurance for lily Allen concert

Hello lovely people, and by lovely people I am not including the staff at the insurance place for Ticketmaster.

Just wanted some advice or feedback really. I got two, good, tickets to see lily Allen for me and my daughter in October. She's relocated to Australia for work, so obviously now can't go. I guess I still can, although don't really want to without her, but figured I'd just get a refund for her one ticket. I thought it would be straightforward.

I bought the $47 insurance, and she's moved abroad... So how hard could it be?????

Omg, so hard. And long winded. And just to get a big fat rejected. They won't even refund one ticket for a relocation, even though that's in the list of things they "do" refund for. Looking back I knew it was a scam. I was sick for the pink concert, but never had a refund from them. And my son couldn't go to Tyler the creator, and wasn't able to get a refund. The whole thing is a joke.

But this goes further than the refund. It's not right. It's unfair. (Not in a Kareny whiny way).... In a "I paid money for insurance, it covered relocation, but still they won't help" way.

Any ideas what I can do kind redditors.... Why is this allowed to happen?

She was incredible (Birmingham 2026)

Speechless. Gobsmacked. She's just an incredible performer and story teller. It was so perfect. Wish I could bottle this feeling forever.

And the crowd goes wild in Birmingham!

To think there were concerns about how it would do as an arena show...! Last night was wild. Fifteen thousand people were ROARING support for Lily and singing along with the entire show. Absolutely phenomenal.

I loved the few differences and additions from the smaller shows, and the sound was so much louder and better last night.

Surprised she got a few words mixed up; proves she's singing live though!

So so glad I got to see both versions, and it was amazing to be in that room last night with such a big crowd having the best time!

Cardiff show

For those who braved the Cardiff show in the heatwave, how was the temperature? Did anyone brave the journey from Bristol or beyond? My friend and I decided not to go due to the cancelled trains and red heat warning, feel so gutted about it but didnt want to get stranded on a delayed train or stuck in a super hot arena. (Lots of people had said the arena is too hot at the best of times). The majority of our transport links to Cardiff were cancelled due to the heat. We were pretty disappointed the venue didn’t postpone considering the met office and national rail travel warnings. How was it? How was the travel?
