No doubt, I knew that issue would be fixed. 5 lines of code is all the kernel needs to bring Linux to my desktop. I am so excited for ANY distro that starts using the 7.2 kernel (arch is only 7.1.8). I just want to be together with amdgpu.dpm=1 and far away from nomodeset or amdgpu.dpm=0.
Assisted by Claude Sonnet, the patch disables dynamic PCIe link switching for Pinnacle Ridge CPUs. Ain't that great?

Also where the rules at

1. Kwin can be a bit more buggy
2. KDE is so customizable and so rigid like there somethings i feel like theres certain stuff that are bloat but are hardcoded so i cant remove it unless i wanna risk breaking my system
3. theres so much bloat by default like yeah its a DE its a full thing but why do we have preinstalled games like its uneccesary and most people dont use them that often
4. Discover is unreliable and also keeps locking up the terminal because of Packagekit so it's very distro dependent too on how well it works whcih is why it's also kinda unreliable

i know this isnt linuxsucks but im bored and wanna hear other linux users thoughts

Ok im really liking Gentoo and it is great but like stuff just doesn't work and to be honest I send the portage output to DeepSeek every time and ask is this good? and if it's not it fixes it for me like I don't think im cut out for Gentoo. Specifically for that reason. Especially because I hate relying on AI because it is so wrong most of the time. I could always switch back to Artix which I know and love but it doesn't feel like a challenge which I like. Idk what's everyone's take here?

EDIT: My bad I was just tired and did not feel like recompiling my kernel in the middle of the night dw I am staying on Gentoo my beloved (might gen be a toxic relationship)

Switching back to Arch XD. Gentoo giving me troubles with QEMU. I will still fetch it as a stratum though because I will hijack Arch with Bedrock ofc. The distrohopping continues...
